WORST customer service ever. I never write reviews but this post office brand needs staff & friendly staff who welcome you in with a good attitude. Every time I come in, there is only one staff. That staff takes forever going in and out and helping everyone in line. She does her job as though she is mad and doesn't try to help. Please close this brand or rehire staff that actually does a good job. Read all the reviews from the community. We deserve better service. Her name is Edwards she needs to be fired. I ordered 3 things from eBay and I forgot to include my apartment number on the address so I reached out and the staff was very unprofessional. They claimed that the first package was sent back to the sender the next day and the second package was delivered but they don't remember which locker and I wasn't sent any code or anything to retrieve it. I was also given a lot of attitude for a simple mistake and received no real help finding my packages. I wouldn't never recommend this post office to anyone because they don't care about customer service or if you can't find a package that they failed to deliver because they don't want to follow protocol. read more

This post office must be the worst in the US. I have lived in many places and visited many postal offices and this one is by far the worst. The customer service is terrible, everyone has an attitude as if it's not their job to assist you. The line is always long because there usually is only one person working up front. And the carriers never leave you a notice of package delivery. How do they expect you to pick up a package on time if they don't notify you? This office could use some serious retraining or replacement of staff. And they should start with good, friendly and helpful customer service. Would give 0 stars if I could. My mailbox has been broken shingle I moved into my apt in January 2024. No one has come out to fix it or check it out at all. I'm putting my mail on hold however I never receive any mail when I know I have mail bc of the informed delivery. I literally just get the run around everytime im here. If I could give negative stars, I would. Note that my review here pertains not only to the service received by this particular post office but my residential mail delivery that's handled by this office. I've had countless mail pieces and packages lost by this post office that I should have received. And they have absolutely no accountability! Every time I ask them, whether over the phone or in person, they completely deny that they've even received it. I've had packages marked as "delivered" in USPS tracking to my home address but never showed up and when I question them about it, they gaslight me with every excuse they can come up with under the sun (i.e. "someone at your apartment stole it", "the tracking info is wrong and this package never even entered our system", etc.) One time, I had a really close call when a relative mailed us a package with over $1000 worth of masks and guess what, they lost it despite it being shown in USPS tracking as "delivered." I had to call the USPS 1-800 number several times and had to annoy them incessantly before someone eventually found the package at the post office and had me pick it up there. I've also had checks that were mailed to me lost and the businesses mailing me the checks had to reissue them and they commented that it's quite unusual for their check to be lost multiple times like this, even in spite of the issues USPS is having. I've also had a couple of bills that must be paid via mail and were either lost or severely delayed, causing me a late fee. I've even signed up for Informed Delivery from USPS and have clearly seen mail show up in the Informed Delivery dashboard never appear in my mailbox. If I could sue USPS for the damages caused by the negligence of the mail delivery from this office, I'm looking at thousands of dollars in damages and lost time already. If this is your local post office, DO NOT order your packages to be sent via USPS if you can help it! If you're shipping packages, DO NOT ship from this office! Or better yet, use UPS or Fedex. The media has been giving USPS a lot of flack for its unreliability but this office makes any 3rd world postal system look like a well oiled machine. Some of the most ignorantly acting individuals I've ever encountered. For 8 months they've been delivering a whole family and extended families mail here. The have the indecency to laughter at you on the phone and leave silly messages. They do not deliver my mail and unless I track it, I think medication or other important parcels are missing. This post office is comically bad. While we adore our postman (if only we could leave him personally a review, it'd be 5 stars) the post office itself is a hot mess. I walked in and no one was there despite it being 2 pm on a week day. I wasn't sure what to do given the doors were unlocked, the lights were on, but no one was around. It was completely deserted. Another person came in shortly after me and started screaming for assistance after I'd politely called out a few "hellos". He informed me that here you had to yell at the top of your lungs for help. Sure enough someone came out shortly after he did that. The postal worker was no help in telling me where my package was. They've now lost 4 of my packages in a 4 month period. The odd thing is that all of the packages do eventually show up but it's a week or more after they're supposed to (according to the tracker). They'll also call you but never leave a message. I take off work waiting bc it's meds that I need that day and I pay for next day by 12 guarantee. And nothing. I'm disappointed that the management team for this station has not resolved an Hours of Operation discrepancy between the station's PS Form 3849 and the actual Hours of Operation. This discrepancy caused me to be later to work than I had planned on. This attention to detail gap seems to represent a lack of attention to detail or a lack of customer empathy. This place is awful. Every time I'm forced to come to pick up a package it takes forever and they tell me my package is out for delivery and it never is. I'm not sure if they're hopeful people will just give up on getting their things so they don't have to do the bare minimum of handing you a package or what but this place seriously needs to be closed. I have to echo the sentiments of the other reviews about this Post Office. My address is in Uptown, but for some reason if there are any issues with packages or mail I have to drive down to this location about 15 minutes on the other side of town. The service is beyond slow and the employees are usually very rude and unprofessional. On one occasion I had to return on 3 separate occasions because they could not locate a package. Unless you have to go here to pick up due to your address, I would highly recommend another location for your shipping and mailing needs. read more

I've never dealt with a post office full of thieves until moving to dallas. George, dodi & Maryann are all supervisors, who permit mail sorters to steal packages. I really believe that all of them work together, and reading the reviews from others just confirms that this is a super shady post office. If you have to get mail sent to you and this station handles your route, I would suggest using a different courier, possibly fed ex or ups! What's even more confusing is they marked my package available for pick up yet according to them, my package was never at their location, or missing or being returned to sender yet they never updated these details. When I implied that the mail sorters probably walked off with my package- the supervisor George, responded and said "they probably did" I wish the postal workers could be fined and imprisoned for stealing people's mail! read more

At least half of the packages I get delivered get misplaced. This is the office that delivers to Old East Dallas. On the tracking info it will say that my package was delivered to a parcel locker and the key is in my mailbox... But there's only a key in my mailbox half the time. I've had to inquire about this problem 3 separate times and they tell me that the carrier will call me directly, but they never do and a few days later a key is in my mailbox. Mind-boggling incompetence. 5 of 6 packages I've ordered in just 4 months have been delivered to the wrong address or are still floating around in an oblivion. Staff is rude, lazy, and completely uninterested. You go to pick up a package and they shuffle off to the back and come back about 20 minutes later saying they can't find it. I live in Uptown and for some reason, this is my post office? Oak Lawn is closer and seems to have it together. I also went an entire week without receiving any mail. I called them and they said "sometimes people just don't get mail." Uh, no. I get mail every day. Literally just a couple hours later I went out to walk my dog, and the mail van drove up, went to my box, put mail in my box, and drove off. What??? I can't make this stuff up. Another time, after ANOTHER package was lost and I complained, they called me and told me where I could go to pick it up. They sent ME to the complex they mis-delivered it to and had me get it. Unreal! How do they stay in business? Time to drain the swamp here...this place needs a complete overhaul from top to bottom. I suggest getting a PO box at a different location. read more

This location is the worst just like the attitude of the workers. Basically the service is shitty. I went into this location on January 24,2018 to have my mail on hold (PS Form 8076). I filled out the form as instructed and gave it to one of the clerks, she looked it over to see if everything was corrected and of course it was! I specifically needed my mail on hold from January 25, 2018 to February 06, 2018 and everyday my mail was delivered while I was out of the country for 7 days! Retired USPS letter-carrier.Carried mail for over 30 years but at a different P.O. Anyhow, I stopped in Austin, Texas to mail a Express Mail envelope with car keys inside on Sat. Dec 2 2022 .Express fee extra of $12.00 was added being that I wanted Express service delivery on Sunday. I was assured that the package would be delivered the next at the address in Dallas, Texas. Dallas is not that far away maybe about 175 miles away. Express envelope was received in Dallas on 5th Dec (Mon) and was "available for pickup" . WTH ? I paid for home delivery! Total cost $40.95. Later during the day someone called my son and told him the Express envelope would be delivered to his home. Delivery time was about 7PM Monday 5th Dec. I feel betrayed by my own PO dept! Makes me feel ashamed that once upon a time we took pride in saying that we worked for the USPS! Very disappointed with the service. That PO branch still haven't found my Certified Letter I sent to my son at the same address since last year. Certified Letter is "MIA"! read more

Well. They win. I rented a P.O. Box so I can get my packages. My troubles started in June 2019. I had three issue over a year ago that spread apart through out a timeline of events at another apartment in the same zip code this office serves. There, It had begin to demonstrate a decline in the quality in service, but it wasn't as bad as what I have to tell you with current events. First of all, I deal with customer service. I understand what it is like to get bad reviews. I honestly hate to be a complainer, but when you give me a reason to do so, I will. As I stated, it began in June 2019. I was already getting mail from a similar address, but the wrong street before hand. I am a bit of an online shopper freak. I've been doing it since 2006. I learned what to order and what not to order. The first rule is to see what is the method of shipping. The second is to ensure the package small enough to fit in my mailbox, otherwise, don't order it, because it will be delivered on the outside were the package is vulnerable. I have quite a hand full of experiences, but I will give you a two that will basically undermined their defense. As of today, I lost five packages in the mail that totals nearly $400 all together. One package in particular stated it was delivered at that time thirteen days ago. I went to the post office inquiring the whereabouts of three at the time. They initially said the was delivered. I begged to differ. The called the mail carrier on route. He told them they were delivered on my front step. I responded, since when do they place small packages that can fit in a mailbox on the porch. They called him again. He then claimed there was a big white dog on the property. I looked at the post master and said that is not true. There are only four units here and no one owns an animal. I almost considered all those ckages a lost, but I called customer service. A long story short, one of those packages that was delivered on my porch was in my mailbox on the next day, 14 days after it was tagged as delivered. Another package, was so-called delivered two months later. Again, I didn't get it. I went back to the post office to inquire the whereabouts. This time the actual mail carrier was there. He adornment swore that he delivered the package on the porch. Again, since when do you place small packages on the porch when it can fit in the box. Well, my box might of been full, do you check your mail everyday he responded. Almost all my bills are paperless and automatically drafted. It would take at least three months to overflow the box. Need I remind you, I am still getting delivered mail from other addresses with different street names delivered up to this day. Another lost. I reordered that one and had it intercepted to hold. Why did you intercept it they asked as I picked it up. I'm having a problem with deliveries I responded. Anyway, I took the package home and placed it in my box with ease. I didn't rub it in there faces, I just kept intercepting. Today from June 2019 and one package I am missing from two weeks ago I am missing five packages. I complained to customer service one last time and I was recommended to get a PO Box with a few apologies. I was considering that a few times, but a realization came over me and I went ahead and rented one. You win Juanita Craft Post Office. Here is the damnedest thing. The owner of my apartments came by today and installed huge numbers on my door. Mine is the only one he did. I never complained to him or the management company. Hmm. With this being said, I believe that the post office did their so-called investigations and declared that my house numbers are not visible enough for the postal carrier, therefore this is the reason why... Nice try. I've been here over a year and they had no problem knocking on my door in the past for certified mail that required a signature. Even FedEx went directly to my door an knocked. I just moved here to the uptown area from Houston about 6 months ago, and I've had quite a few late package deliveries, right now im still waiting from one coming from L.A, the tracking # says it was delivered about 2 weeks ago, and the tracking only says " In Transit" it's been " In Transit" for two weeks now, i doubt it takes two weeks from L.A to Dallas, i lost my trust in " Juanita " i called them and they blamed the "weather" for late deliveries, and they also give you some piece of mind by saying" Just hang in there" it will arrive, i m speechless, and totally lost trust in those carriers. read more
