The mail is not delivered on time and has been delivered to the house's mailbox several times. It has gotten better lately.

I think they try. But the location, the management or something makes the turn over extremely high and inconsistent/missing deliveries. Getting someone to answer the phone is another challenge. So far I've been lucky in being persistent and calling most of the day. The major parcels missing were found and delivered. The mail seems to be hit or miss. Silvia was very professional and helpful. My daughter was wanting the new eclipse heat sensitive stamps and we were able to get them today! Terrible service 1/9/18 Carrier bent mail even when package states DO Not Bend. I am waiting to talk to the manager June and she is not coming up. Her supervisor Avery is apologizing but will not refund me for the damaged book. Very disappointed My business spent over 60 grand here this year with my online store and shipping has gotten so expensive and their service is so inconsistent that I am giving up on USPS and closing my online store. You can't run a business with relying on their unprofessionalism. They NEVER answer their local phone number either. I had to ask the stamp clerk to tell me the manager and supervisor's name. They don't even introduce themselves and avoid face to face communication. 3/23/18 Went there and pay $22 for a business PO Box key for my commercial space on March 14 and was told it would be ready in 2 to 3 days and they would call me and never heard from them. Tried to call their number but they don't answer so I went there today and found out the paperwork was not filed and they're filing it again today and I'm supposed to wait 2 to 3 more business days to see if I get a key. This is pretty ridiculous. I hope I get the key 4/7/18 They answered the phone and were willing to help! Awesome! I think things are improving! It's Saturday at 2:22pm and I have 3 tubs of packages to be picked up. I called because no one has come to get it yet. 6/12/18 I have a daily pick up scheduled for my business and no one came yesterday to pick up our mail. So at 2:19 I called and spoke to a male manager and he assured me that my mail would be picked up and he asked for my address. Very disappointed that no one came. I've tried calling and no one answers the phone at 9:33 AM. I wish this post office it was more dependable. read more

WORST MAIL SERVICE- SHANIQUE (Said she was a supervisor) had me on hold for over an hour and a half I would copy the screenshot of the phone call If I could. Day 1 July 3rd-Recieved a notice about an attempted delivery signature required I missed, went online (an option per notice) rescheduled delivery for following Sat 7/7/2018 and also requested text notification. Day 5 July 7th- Mail carrier came, I asked if he had my item he said no he didn't recieve redelivery request, "I promise" he said. I told him I had the email confirmation he said "he didn't have anything for me but he remembered the first attempted delivery". I called the 1-800 #, was on hold 1 hour lady said she would schedule another redilvery for Tues July 10th. Day 7 July 9th- I went in to this location at 8:30 am. After speaking to an employee that went to the back to look for my item I waited and the counter 1 hour and 45 mins only so the employee could come back and tell me she could not find the item. She would ask the carrier when he got back at end of day. Day 8 July 10th- mail carrier dropped off regular mail, NO DELIVERY OF ITEM THAT WAS RESCHEDULED FOR DELIVERY! CALLED AND SPOKE TO SUPERVISOR SHANIQUE 4:30. she then put me in hold to look for item, came back and said mail carrier wasn't back yet but she would ask him when he got there where the item was took my cell number and she she would call me same day. Never called me back. Day 9 July 11th- called and asked for SHANIQUE, she came to the phone asked who I was and my address then quickly put me on hold again for 1 hour and 45 mins. I thought everyone was gone but was surprised when she came back on the line and said rudely she couldn't find the item to call back in the morning and speak to the manager Jude, she wouldn't give me a last name. I asked her before we hung if she can see the tracking on it then I explained about the text I was receiving and she said she didn't have access to that and couldn't see any of what I was seeing (below) because it was a different system. WHAT A JOKE!! All the while this was all playing out I was receiving text notifications on the status but I thought it was incorrect because it showed the item leaving Arlington, to Coppell Distribution, to Garland, then attempted delivery to my home THEN back to Coppell, then to Fort Worth Distribution and now it just shows its on its way to NEXT Facilty where ever that is. UNBELIEVABLE!!!! Please pray I recieve my item soon because I fear the check that is enclosed will be expired by the time I finally do recieve it with this kind of service. TO BE CONTINUED... The location has some mail persons who don't care about their job! Today, I met a completely rude mail person. I was trying to talk to her about the wrong mail to which she showed her hand and without finishing listening to me drove off. She got aggravated with me and I am so upset that not only she didn't do her job right, she was rude. read more

Even though I've moved back to Mesquite almost a year ago, I still ONLY go to this post office to deliver items. (You'd go a little out of your way to do too if you've ever used the PO in Mesquite.) They're generally very kind of fast. It's uncommon someone's needlessly rude or short with anyone while I'm there. All the workers seem very much capable of their jobs and are happy to help. Like most post offices, they tend to not be honest when delivering packages though. (Leaving pink slips instead of actually knocking.) But considering that's almost every PO I've ever had to deal with, it's just a sad common action I guess. read more

RUDE!! I called about the carrier not delivering my mail just because my neighbor had his car parked near the mailbox. He had enough room to make his delivery but too lazy to get out. The lady at the post office hung up on me after being on hold for 20 minuets. She simply didn't care or asked my address. If you hate your job that much then find another one. The lady who helped me was very friendly and outgoing but her coworker was rude. My aunt and I came in the door she announces if any one is picking up mail can come to her counter , so my aunt raised her hand and says " I am" , so my aunt walked to the counter and she immediately says "ID!". Then she looks at me and yells are you picking up mail too, and I said " no". So she asked "well what are you here for?", which was very unprofessional to me, I told her that I just wanted to buy a stamp, so she asked cash or card and I told her cash so she rolls her eyes and walked to the back for my aunts mail and we never seen her again. Then a different lady comes out and my aunt asks her was the " rude" lady coming back out and she said "no". We wanted to get her name so the we could report her. Anyhow she's an older African-American lady with short hair and glasses. She looked like she was a supervisor and acted like she hated her job. Try to avoid this post office if you can. read more

Worst USPS post office I've ever used. Extremely rude staff and they will lose your packages, throw packages in puddles/mud, or wad up your mail and cram it into your mailbox even if it doesn't fit. Any time we've had a certified package or international 'signature required' package, there's an illegible slip of paper stuck on our front door and when we sign it and put it back out, they never deliver the package the next day (make us come to post office and get it) and then take 20-30 minutes to find the package (or tell us it's out on the truck and they can't find it). If you call, the phone will either be busy (they take it off the hook just to 'stop it from ringing', I've seen it happen with my own eyes) or they'll answer, put you on hold while they wait on multiple customers to try and get you to get impatient and hang up. They will also disconnect you when they put you on hold to help you. It took me three days to get a live person on the phone to complain about my mail carrier not delivering mail. He made up a rule that when he delivers mail to an apartment complex, you have to have a paper taped inside your mailbox with the names of the people who live there, and if the name isn't on that paper he won't deliver the mail. The apartment office said there's nothing they can do, he decides which packages/letters to deliver and which ones he doesn't. Sometimes we go weeks without getting our ads/coupons, other times we get it and it's completely mangled from him cramming it into the box. I absolutely hate this post office, have had packages literally thrown at my front door (again, saw it with my own eyes) because he didn't want to walk up onto the porch. Have complained to the USPS but they will do nothing; this branch is garbage and entire staff needs to be fired. read more

My go-to post office even though I live around the corner from Walnut USPS. I do Ebay, so I am here frequently. Service is always superb, never been rude to me. Have had a PO Box here for 3 years, fee is reasonable and I feel safe here at all times of night (I have 2 babies, you think I'm coming during the day to check my mail? I wish!) location has the kiosk while Walnut does not. No complaints, always clean and polite and knowledgeable. read more

I've had to visit this post office quite a bit lately. Everyone here so far has defied the disgruntled post office stereotype completely. They move traffic right along and will take care of you quickly, I could gripe about the hours but I realize that by no means they have control over the matter. read more
