The letter carrier, after 16 years, still can not read the address on the mail, as I still get a neighbor's mail, and vice versa

The UPS store at 3420 Pump Road in Short Pump has a manager who refused to ship a package to Israel, a decision that was not aligned with company policy. Upon contacting the owners and confirming that this was a personal choice made by the manager, I was disappointed to find that no action was taken. Moreover, after sharing my concerns with the owners, whom I believed were committed to not condoning antisemitism, I have been ignored. Having been a loyal customer with a PO Box at this UPS store for over 10 years, it is concerning that they do not value our loyalty or seem to care that they employ someone who would engage in such behavior. If they hate Jews and Israel, who will the discriminate against next??? Needless to say, we have moved our POBox to a very friendly PakMail business in Manakin Sabot. I'll never understand those who hate Jews and Israel, for no reason at all. I've been in business before and it's not my nature to put up a post like this but have been left with no other option but to share my experience. Friends, please beware of who you do business with!!!

Meh. Nobody loves going to the post office, do they? I never seem to have a great experience there,…read morebut it's a necessary evil. On my most recent visit, the self service kiosk wasn't working, so I had to stand in line to mail my letter. While I arrived prior to 5pm, I experienced the employees being very rude to folks who arrived just after 5. While I understand that the line has to be cut off, a little customer service and niceness goes a long way. Instead of yelling "WE'RE CLOSED" and making hand gestures, they could have put a sign on the door or nicely said that they are closed and to come back another time. Just my two cents!

I have put in two official inquiries and nobody could tell me why my packages were not getting picked up on fon du lac. I have even put notes in the mailbox for the carrier asking them to please pick the packages up. Smh. I called the local branch several times and nobody answers the phone. I went there in person on Tuesday 8/4/26 to drop off the packages that weren't picked up the day before. I spoke to a supervisor, but she didn't take down my information, so I wasn't very confident that she was even going to look into it. While I was waiting to speak with her, there was another lady speaking with her who put her small children on top of a very high round table in the lobby. It is about 4.5 to 5 feet tall with a concrete floor underneath, and she had placed her two young children up there unsupervised. I was concerned the kids would fall off the entire time, yet the supervisor allowed it. I was about to go over there and stand by them to make sure they didn't fall, when the mother finally came back to attend to them. The table is part of the self-service kiosk where customers prepare their parcels; it's not a place for children to play or sit upon. It was a hazardous situation for those babies. That being said, when I do have to go to the post office, the ladies at the front are mostly polite and professional.

Lights are out on the overhang, "letters" are missing from the sign on the brick wall, crumbling concrete, potholes in the parking lot ... oy vey! A government post office needs to be maintained, and why this Glen Allen annex has been allowed to become dilapidated is beyond me. I remember this post office when I lived in the area as a kid, and it never looks like this, but it's been neglected over the decades. Inside the floors are so dingy and dirty, I could actually feel the grit under my boots. The rugs were filthy and the trash was overflowing. Empty cardboard boxes were strewn about and just grody. The little "garden box" out front was overgrown with weeds, and this place definitely needs some curb appeal. I noticed several customers just driving by the outside drop off mailbox with their letters, no doubt not wanting to enter this disaster. The hours are posted on the door, but I'd probably suggest going a few miles away to the post office on Sadler or Parham. I was tempted to give a two stars, because the service is decent and the greeting card kiosk was cute, but it was in such bad shape, I just couldn't. Please "deliver" some help to this post office! Makeover please!!

They need to go to a third party company address called a Fetch address. Reached out to UPS to make the change. UPS could not make the change because the UPS Store takes over the shipment and marks them as restrictive. This prevent the person that is actually shipping the package to make any changes. UPS said that only the UPS store can make the change. Went back to the UPS Store to get the address changed, they would not do it. The employees was very rude. Very bad customer service. Even called up UPS customer service to have them tell the UPS Store person that they could make the change. But the UPS Store would still not change it. Then I found out that the UPS Store is not part of UPS. They are two separate companies. Each UPS Store location is also privately owned. I now know to avoid the UPS Store at all cost. You learn from experience. It is sad to say that the usps has better customer service than the UPS Store. Hopefully this helps other people not experience horrible customer service and rude employees.

I was the only person in the store besides her, and I stood at the counter without being acknowledged while she repeatedly walked in and out of the room, moving boxes around. Literally did not look at me or speak. Not even, "I'll be right with you," after she walked AWAY from the counter when I approached. When she finally came to the counter, I told her I was emailing a shipping label to the store. She looked in the computer and almost immediately said, "it should have been here by now." (Implying that I hadn't sent it correctly?) I showed her in my phone that the email was sent to the store's email address. She went back into the computer and found it, told me the price to print it and said "cash or card?" I swiped my card, which didn't work, so she rolled her eyes at me. I stuck the card into the card reader, it was approved, and she practically threw the receipt at me. Everything she said to me was in an accusatory tone, as if I didn't know what I was doing. I also showed her a QR code for an Amazon return and she told me I wasn't holding my phone right. Then she grabbed my phone out of my hand to enlarge the code. I could've done that but she didn't ask me to. Overall, just very huffy and inpatient and seemed bothered to even have to speak to me (or maybe to customers in general). Again- Julia, I'm sorry if you had a bad day, but being rude to customers (who may have also had a bad day and are still being kind!) won't help your situation.

This chick doesn't seem to realize that she has all the control here. Nobody moves until she gets to them. The ball is all in her court, and she's treating us like we're the problem. I get that some people have issues, but don't take it out on other people. The UPS Store is ALWAYS like this. It doesn't matter which one I go to. I suspect it has something to do with the work culture at UPS. When I have a choice to go elsewhere, I do.
