This might be the first bad review I've left after using yelp for many, many years. I just moved in the area and have a little bit of a different mail situation needing to be figured out. It has taken me three trips there to get the information I need. I CAN NOT overstate on the fact that if you have ANY questions that go beyond a simple package you will get no more than one word answers. This is the worst post office I've ever come. I came with a box for overnight shipping on 05/06/2024. They charged me $120.20 for the shipping fee and said it would arrive on Tuesday 05/07/2025 at 6pm. My friend waited the whole Tuesday for the box but it didn't come. We waited another two days for the box but the box still didn't come. I came back to the post office and asked for the refund, they said it was too early for the refund and they asked me to go back after a week. Today is a week from the day that the box support to come, they asked me to wait again until the box get delivery. It took me 45 mins to drive to the post office, but they kept reschedule to refund. I spent $87 to buy frozen food for my friend, $7 to buy a box and $120.20 for delivery. Now they tried to avoid to refund my box value. What kind of service is this? Even though they sent the box to my friend now, he is still unable to use it because it is frozen food and it's been a week already. I am really upset and frustrated with this USPS location in specific and USPS in general. I won't use this service anymore. I also highly don't recommend you guys to use this service, because if they lost your box, they won't take the responsibility for their mistake to not pay back to you! Really bad service. read more

I am absolutely tired of our mail man.... If my daughter's car is parked anywhere near the mailbox he refuses to deliver the mail. We had this problem with him before and we moved our mailbox as close as possible to the road. Half the houses on our small section of 52nd lane he has to get out of his truck.... and won't for us. His customer service is horrible. All our neighbors have had issues with him (unless your mailbox isn't at the road....) When I said I will just move my mailbox to the house they said it isn't allowed.... So tired of this crap. No one answers the local office number anymore. Probably not the best post office in the world, but it got the job done. I'm not going to give you the full background because it is a rather long story, but I needed to get a small package to Sydney, Australia as fast as humanly possible. The package arrived at my door at 4:50 p.m. on a Wednesday, so I jumped in my car to mail it at USPS. (Recently I used UPS to send my sister a package and learned that it is more expensive and takes longer to reach people. She will never let me forget it). Well, low and behold, most USPS close at 5 p.m.! I then called UPS since they are open later and basically thought fuggit, I'll pay more if I can get this out now. Turns out UPS would have cost more and they didn't have the 1-3 day option that USPS has so it would have taken longer. (Why does anyone use UPS?). At this point it was about 5:20 and I figured I'd have to wait until the next day to mail the package. That's when I was struck with the brilliant thought that maybe other USPS stores are open later (why that didn't hit me at the beginning, I do not know). I found out that this one was open until 6 p.m. AND it was 4 minutes from where I was getting dinner at 6 p.m. (although even if it wasn't I would have just been super late to dinner because this package was more important. Basically the heavens were smiling on me at that moment). I raced to this USPS and made it here at 5:40 p.m. Once inside there was only one person in line, but minutes after there was a line of about six of us (again, thank you heavens for helping me beat that line). There was one cashier and he was excruciatingly slow when helping a customer. I was really freaked out that they might kick everyone out at 6 p.m. That's when my savior descended in the form of a no nonsense lady employee who basically started blasting through the line. Unlike the other employee, she had all of us who weren't prepared (totally guilty) fill out forms off to the side so she could help others who were ready. She was a multitasking machine. Yes, it came out to about $93 to get a package to Australia in 1-3 days (and stupid weekends don't count so it came out to five days), but again out of all my options, that was the cheapest and the fastest. The clientele who come here range from all walks of life. I never felt completely unsafe, but at the same time if someone told me there was a shooting in the parking lot, I wouldn't be surprised. Hopefully, I'll never have to mail something again in my life, but if I do and it is after 5 p.m., I wouldn't hesitate to go here. read more

Worst experience ever, I had a package delivered said it was delivered and placed in the parcel locker. Checked my mailbox for the key to the locker, no key. Today I went to check the mail got there right on time as the mail carrier was putting mail in the mailboxes. Asked about my package she doesn't remember which parcel locker she put my package in. Checked the lockers my package wasn't in there. She goes to look in her truck and finds a package that was getting delivered today to my address but it was my sister's package. Told me to go check in the leasing office to see if anyone turned in a package which they didn't. She then gave me the number to the post office, which was no help at all because the package isn't there. I'm pissed off because I needed this package today it was a birthday gift. My package should've stayed with UPS and never went to the post office for it to be delivered. read more

I've never been to a post office where you have to pay $3 to tape a packing slip to your box. I know the post office is having hard times right now but really? You choose to nickle and dime customers like that? I printed off my small packing paper and the representative literally told me I had to pay $3 to tape a piece of paper to a box! This is the first post office I've EVER been to where I heard of this. The post offices in Largo, Clearwater and Tampa don't even do all that. They simply just tape my slip to the box (which I never do, just in case my slip is incorrect) instead of telling me I have to pay for it AND tape it myself. I've been to this post office many times since our business is located here. The last 3 times have been horrible. The line goes out of the door with only two employees working after 4:00 until 6:00. I thought it was like this because of Christmas but twice afterwards it was this bad as well. I'll be using UPS which is much faster and I think cheaper sending a letter overnight in the same state :( Shame on the federal government allowing customers to wait in line for so long just to send packages or certified letters and should be embarrassed on allowing customer service to be handled this way. read more

This seems like a decent post office. I love that there is a lot of parking in the lot. However, It can be a bit tricky getting into that parking lot. You have to pass the post office and enter the lot from the western side. There was a line at my latest visit, but it moved pretty quickly. We were picking up one box and dropping off another. There was an extra employee that helped us get our package from the back so that it was ready when we got to the teller. That was nice. Overall, fast and friendly service. Unprofessional staff work at this office. Every time I come here the staff seem impatient with customers and are like they can't be bothered. Today older employee is loudly arguing with a customer in front of a line of more customers waiting to be helped. It's hit or miss with these people. They will leave the key in my PO BOX to a large locker for a small box that will fit in my PO Box, yet they took my daughter's senior pictures that were boldly labeled "DO NOT BEND" and they bent the large envelope in half ruining the pictures. (That should have been put in the large locker). The "manager" I spoke with did not sound sympathetic, didn't apologize and and said the Photographer should have used a different, un-bendable envelope. read more

This is the worst example of a United States post office location ever. So, last week I am standing in this location and three people in front of me is a man wearing a mask due to Covid-19 requirements; it appeared he had a package to drop off. A woman and maybe her daughter came barreling in the door and right up behind the man with the package & well within the 6ft social distancing recommendation. The man noticed how close they were to him and waved his hand motioning for them to back up to the 6ft requirement. The older woman told the man to shut up and was very mean and rude to the man. The gentleman did nothing but request the required distancing. The lady caused such a fuss that it caught the attention of the female clerk who immediately took the ladies side and called for "Bill" and said " Bill we need baby sitting help out front while looking at the gentleman who did nothing wrong . Bill comes to the front like he the state police with attitude all over his face and proceeds to say, "If you have a drop off, I can help you". The Gentleman proceeds to Bill and asks for a tracking paper and Bill replies "I don't know that here and you have to wait back in line. The whole time Bill being very condescending to the man and was behind the counter and could have helped him. I felt so sorry for the man with the package my mouth open in amazement. I wish I could do some to help this situation. we pay taxes to me treated like this and for no reason. The customer never once raised his mouth or tone considering he was being attacked by federal employees. These people are a joke. We just moved in a and they refused to deliver mail until we got a street box, although no one else in the entire neighborhood has a street box. The mail man walks in front of our door to deliver the neighbors mail but still will not deliver ours. If I could give ZERO stars, that would be my rating. Actually negative numbers would be better. Rude, arrogant and absolutely no customer service. Paid extra to make sure gifts arrived on time 3 separate times and NONE of them arrived on time. Never was compensated even with an excuse. As a matter of fact, the last one NEVER made it there. So I'm out over $100!!! And the supervisor, Heather Manley, is totally useless. The other mouthy clerks - entitled chick with fro and dude with dreadlocks were so unfriendly. I was only talking to the supervisor and they kept telling me it was my fault that my package was lost. And there was nothing they could do about. In total frustration, I said that I'd never come back there again, and the mouthy chick said that was great because they didn't want to mail my trash anyway!
