Of course, it's just another branch of USPS, a necessary evil of our fair land, like many other guvmint or quasi-guvmint operations. However, having used this particular branch of said agency, I simply find it about as user friendly as a post office can ever become. If you're one of those folks who uses a PO Box rather than a physical address to get your scads of junk mail, bills and the occasional package, then you're in luck. This small outpost in a dim corner of a business park has 'em in spades. Lobby is very clean, quiet and well kept. There are tons of supplies available as you walk toward the service counter area, which is behind a glass door within the lobby. Supplies such as envelopes, boxes, simple packaging supplies and all those postal forms you'd need to send different classes of mail. If you normally don't ship stuff by mail, worry not. The postal clerk behind aforementioned counter behind aforementioned door is genuinely great ay what he does. The fellow's name is Dwight, a middle aged fellow who actually has a rather pleasant demeanor and patient attitude. Dwight isn't always the only one behind the counter, but he's a great face for the agency. He, my wife and I had a very pleasant conversation as we figured out which particular mail class to use for a package of documents I had to ship. It was very clear that he knows his stuff and is more than willing to help his customers so long as they know what they want. It helps if one participates in all these goings on to help the process move along. Not only will Dwight remain patient but he'll guide in the right direction for the right reasons. This also helps in MOVING the line along, if only because USPS lobbies tend to get long lines pretty quick. So if you want USPS to deliver for YOU, then deliver yourself to this business park near the county lockup and the county airport (hello, Allegiant passengers). Dwight, in the station next to her, provided comical statements to keep everyone cheery, even when there was a wait. Overall, very happy with my services at this location. In and out quickly, even during the last few days of the holiday season when I figured lines would be so long to get packages to loved ones ASAP. Would definitely return here. read more

I'm giving this post office 5 stars just because of Chris. We work in the office complex surrounding the airport and depend on this post office big time because it's walking distance. I agree with other reviews that the hours aren't tailored to working people but that's Florida - doctors, dentists, and vets are all operating hours with retired folks in mind. Lucky for us, we can walk over at lunch. My coworkers and I think Chris, the post office associate is so incredibly helpful. Such a breath of fresh air. We took so much of his time and he never once got short with us - he offered lots of suggestions on how to handle a big annual holiday card mailing we do. I drive all the way to this location and they tell me you need to buy a $4+ to send what k had packed on a priority box. The man was so NOT helpful! Instead of helping me select a box, and telling me the costs to help and size, he walks away into the back like I am not even there! I walked out. I am disgusted that with the amount we are paying for shipping services, the employees who are getting paid a LOT more money than me who works at the YMCA with a disability, that they feel they are entitled to just be there to ring up and not help their customers with shipping procedures or materials. Very VERY disappointed! If you don't have everything perfect for them, they will walk off and leave you to figure it out yourself. read more

Tiny post office with customers patiently waiting in line. Priority Mail has replaced every other type of mail except a #10 envelope with a Forever stamp. I paid $11.60 to send one ounce of human cremains to a glass artisan. The fun part is downloading the app and watching the package move from location to location. USPS is just like the airlines: Florida to Georgia via Nevada. Joking! read more

This post office is SO SMALL! For it being a full blown post office, it's quite disappointing. First of all, their hours are horrible. Second, they have no package drop-offs for those of us that can't make it between 8:30-4:30. I work 8-5, so I have to end up driving further (either Clearwater branch or Pinellas Park branch) just to mail a medium-sized box! Their 24/7 lobby doesn't even have an automated machine as most do nowadays which means they aren't even good for buying stamps for us working folk! They do have a "mail" drop inside which can only accommodate small boxes, I'd guess shoebox size or smaller. They also have 2 "letter-only" boxes outside that you can drive up to BUT they're strategically placed on the passenger side of a car, so you either have to drive up on the wrong side of the way (which is what I've done previously), or maybe you're lucky enough to have super long arms so you can reach outside your passenger window. Great thinking. I sure wish I had a better post office close to my home because this one barely serves the purpose. They're not even open on Saturday, so I'm really screwed if I have to pick up a certified letter or something. Thumbs down USPS. read more

The place itself is not getting 1 star, just one postal worker in particular. I unfortunately do not remember his name, because during my time there I was trying really hard not to cry. He made me feel like such an idiot and griped and groaned about every little thing while helping me. I had no control over the packages I was sending, because I was sending them for my job, but he made me feel like everything was my fault. Even though this is the closest location to my job, I am never coming here again, unless that man is gone. read more

A woman answered when I called to see if when I go in person will I be able to change address from what is on my ID to my current she said um good question left the line then got back on phone saying yeah sometimes when you get the ID it will prompt you to to change it but you'll just bring your ID and then started talking to her co worker and then repeated ya just bring your ID and I said I know I need that but that doesn't tell me if I'm going to be able to change the address she said I did answer that and I said no you didn't you started talking to someone and told me bring an ID and then she hung up on me and would not answer when I attempted to call back, RUDE and when I go to the office in person tomorrow I will get the workers name to report. You can't act like that just because you're a union worker it's absolutely unacceptable and literally made me want to go through the phone because there's no way you would feel comfortable doing that in person. read more

Constant lost mail, missed pick-ups, incredibly rude and lazy lobby staff, apartment mailboxes left wide open, leave the phone off the hook all day so nobody calls, now today they picked-up my fed-ex package and I didn't even schedule a package pick-up! This is one of the worst post offices I've been to. It's close to work so easy for me to go to, but the hours are HORRIBLE. 8:30am to 4:30pm? Kind of a joke. Then every time I'm there it's some weird excuse as to why only one person can help me. 'Oh you need a receipt? I can't do that you have to wait for the register at the end.' When I was there to pick up a package they were holding I was told only a supervisor could do that. There was a line of about 8 of us waiting before a supervisor came out. I had the worst customer service on the phone with Anna. She did not resolve my issue about a carrier that put my place as vacant when I have lived here for OVER two years! I have received packages all along until we have gotten a new carrier that decided to not deliver my packages but still delivered my mail. Which was never returned! This is not ok! read more
