This last time, I waited in line for a clerk, filled out the yellow card and watched as the clerk took it to the back. My mail was not held!! Went in today to discuss the issue, clerk was very helpful but we were cut off by some gentleman who told me to wait at the next window. They both leave, there's clapping in the back office, the clerk returns and tells me sorry next time drop the card off at the Post Office....what!! Definitely, a management issue going on here. They need to get their stuff together.

I didn't have enough cash on me, I used my debit/credit card. I guess I should have checked my RECEIPTS before leaving the store/USPS. After all it is the USPS. The package which was just a rolled up calendar, was "Grand Total: $6.90 and my SECOND RECEIPT for the charge was $7.18??? I don't recall seeing a sign for the upcharges nor did he mention it only that the name of the business would be on my credit card bill!

When I was done I had to wait as there was someone in front of me. Originally I was first in line! He finished the process, not saying thanks or anything. We have been living in Madeira Beach for more than 6 years. The man in charge of delivering our…read moremail has always been nice with us. So much that we even used to give him cookies for Christmas. Always greeting us with a smile in his face, a very nice person. But, for whatever reason, that person stopped doing our route and now we have been assigned a new mailman, and that person is the most self-entitled and rude person you can meet. Two weeks into the job and he was already complaining that we don't empty our mailbox as often as he would like. We told them we both travel during the week and, at the very least, we empty it once a week. Instead of understanding, he said he was not going to deliver any mail to us again. I went to the post office and talked to his manager. He attended me and was very nice and understanding at all times. He said he would talk to him and, for a couple of months, everything seemed to be back to normal. But today, we hear a load bang on the door, I go out, and there he is again, shouting at me, literally "I've had enough, I'm not delivering any more mail to your house!". When I tried to talk to him, he called me an "a**hole", and when I said we never had a problem with the previous mailman, he replied "that's because they weren't doing their job". Well, maybe that's true, but he kept his clients happy and the business running. But this guy... totally horrible. He's lucky he works for the government, because in a private company, any employee that treats clients that way would be fired right away. Totally horrible experience.

My favorite part is how absolutely hilarious it is that we approached the counter and weren't even greeted or asked what brought us in, he stared at us and waited for us to say something. I wasn't sure if he was ready, or still processing something from the customer before? Who knows. But even the other employee ignored us, and the supervisor couldn't even be bothered to come out to speak to us, he just stuck his head out the door frame?? Also I don't know why the supervisor was called in out in the first place! I certainly didn't ask to speak to him nor did the situation require escalation... This was the most unprofessional exchange ever. I'm really embarrassed for myself and them. I really hate to think of any visitors who might use this post office and be treated like this, because this is not an impression I'd want anyone to have when they think of Indian Rocks Beach. Sad.
