This is hands down the worst post office I have ever dealt with. There are consistently only two employees ( this lady and a black guy with glasses) working, and they are rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. Every single time I come here and ask for help, it turns into an issue. The package drop-off has been broken for most of 2025, and despite multiple complaints, repair requests, and attempts to speak with management, absolutely nothing has been done. It's excuse after excuse with zero accountability. Today was no different. I came in to drop off a package and, unsurprisingly, there is STILL a sign saying the drop-off is not fixed. Not only that, I couldn't even get a receipt to prove I was there. When I asked if the counter could accept my packages, they said yes--but refused to provide a receipt because they were "too busy." That alone is unacceptable. When I asked when they planned to submit a request to fix the drop-off, the employee was, as always, dismissive and uninterested. He repeatedly said, "I don't know," as if the issue has nothing to do with him. When I pointed out that letting this problem drag on for an entire year defeats the purpose of efficiency and actually makes their jobs harder, his response was, "I don't give a damn." That statement says everything about this location. The employees don't care, management doesn't care, and customers are treated like an inconvenience instead of the reason this place exists. This post office can't even handle basic operations, yet somehow finds a way to take its incompetence out on the public. I didn't really interact with the staff, so I can't comment on customer service. However, they did have a kiosk and a parcel drop-off bin for packages, which made my visit very quick and painless. Most of my packages are already prepaid, so I didn't have to pay for any services. read more

Today an " investigator" with the post office called to tell me their normal practice is to take the mail that was dropped off from this office and ship it to a north Houston post office before it's post marked. Because of this I was unable to vote today. I have had nothing but problems with this office. From not getting my mail (gift cards and credit cards) in the mail, to having the driver pull mail out of my box drop it and run it over, to leaving mail set for pick up. I recently had a package go missing with USPS. The mail tracking said "mail delivered to mailbox". This was incorrect. I have cameras pointing at my mailbox, and no delivery attempt was made. So I file a missing mail report. The same day I asked my wife to visit the post office to inquire about the missing mail. My wife visited the post office and instead of being greeted like a customer, she was greeted like a prisoner speaking to a warden. She was accosted by the workers and told to file a missing mail report when she inquired about the missing mail. She told them that I had already filed a missing report. After this the mail worker told her we would get email updates. She was then instructed to leave the office. My wife asked if they could look for it or at least or let her know what may have happened. The post office told her if the tracking says its delivered there's nothing they can do. No attempt was made to search for it, no explanation. It has been 3 months since that day, and I still have yet to receive an update on mail valued at over $150 that is still missing. I have a very mild mannered gentle wife, and I feel like she was violated by the employees here by their disrespectful, demeaning, dismissive attitudes. And what did she do to incur this disrespect? She politely asked where some missing mail might be. The people that work here are animals with 0 accountability. I will avoid sending mail through this office as much as I can. read more

The refuse to take application simply because it is not my appointment time yet. They don't have customer at that time. A lady was humming loudly the entire time. Then I came back and they said application need to fill out more in parent section. They refuse to offer a pen. I have to go out my car to get a pen otherwise cancel appointment. I wish I could put a BIG FAT ZERO for this post office. I sit at my office and watch our mailman take naps, sit in truck on his phone, and daydream, all but delivery our mail. I get mail about once a week if i'm lucky. Trying to run a business and expecting checks in the mail to only receive them once a week is sad excuse for the USPS. -Very difficult to get a hold of them on the phone at all times throughout the day. -"no attempted delivery" slip is ever left. Happened more than once already. Luckily I caught it before the deadline where it gets sent back. -Numerous times the after business hour the mail drop box is always locked (locks when full). - Twice already package placed in wrong mailbox and delivered to my neighbor. Luckily they handed it back to me. -In the mail room office/ package drop off the doorbells and Knocks are ignored even though I hear people right behind that door. I'm disappointed. Thanks to the little kiosks most post offices have, I no longer have to deal with the employees. This makes my post office visits much nicer. However, the box to put my package after using the kiosk was "broken' (I'm not sure how a parcel drop box "breaks" but whatever) so I had to stick my head into the line of people. Thankfully I quickly made eye contact with a postal employee who didn't make me wait and instead informed me via head nod that I could just leave my package on the counter. Never get anyone on the phone, never!! Have not been getting any mail for a week! Very unusual for us even if it's just junk mail!! My husband seen a mail truck the one day last week, he said he was new and sorry he was late! Haven't seen him since. I stood outside today and watched a young guy stop a little ways from our mail box, then back up and stop again and without putting mail in our box took off!!! While it may seem strange to give a Post Office five stars, in this case it isn't. This particular Post Office has well earned their stars from me. I've always received courteous and professional service here. I've never had a too long wait in line because there are several employees working the counter for pick up and sending. They keep the line moving and get people out quickly. That in itself is worth four stars. The employees are also very friendly AND knowledgeable. Sadly, that is not a common combination in many places. My main satisfaction and five stars for this location is due to the very kind and problem solving help I got from one particular employee concerning a package delivery. FedEx incorrectly had a package of mine listed in tracking info as undeliverable due to no one being home. This was very incorrect as someone, i.e. myself, was home. To my knowledge, FedEx didn't even try to deliver that day. For whatever reason, my tracking details instructed me to call the post office to pick up my package. When I called the next morning, a very nice, knowledgeable and helpful guy named Robert answered. He carefully got my info, tracked the package and located the package in the back room of the post office. He then assured me he would see that the package was given to the postman and I would receive it that day. Indeed I did receive the package that day. I appreciate Robert's help and I am always appreciative when a problem, especially an aggravating problem, is rectified. A Post Office it is, but one that actually functions in the right way. This is my favorite post office, as post offices go. Always friendly, quick, and know what they're doing (a HUGE plus). I go during my lunch break and it never takes too long. I've also never had a postman/woman go on break when there's a long line, or spend an inordinate amount of time "tidying" their station. Pretty unfortunate I have to leave a mediocre review of this place, my experiences with the Post master (Garcia?) have always been very much positive. There are also typically 4 faces you will encounter when you get there, the white lady is always very nice and helpful and out of the two other black ladies one seems very stern and one is super jolly but both are very pleasant when helping you. Then there's always one bad apple, the Asian lady (not Hilda, she's a mail carrier and she's very exceptionally helpful). She seems to have no patience for anything and doesn't ever seem to want to help you with anything you need. She has her way of doing things and that's it, from multiple encounters with her the most memorable one was when she was extremely adamant on not helping me because I did not have my orange pick up slip (if you live in an apartment in Stafford, you can probably relate to having to pick up any sizeable package at the post office). On this particular encounter the post office was not more busy than usual, I had received notice online that my package was undeliverable because there was no safe location to leave it in. Fine, so I make my way to the post office to pick it up. This lady repeatedly "checks" for the package and tells me that it's not there and that perhaps it's still being sorted it (granted it's about 12PM at this time). Fast forward to 4PM (post office at this location closes at 5PM), I come back and the same lady helps me again, checks once very quickly and tells me promptly that I don't have any packages. I, very politely, ask her to check once more. SURPRISE SURPRISE, she finds my package. No smile but I got a quick and insincere "sorry, must have overlooked it". Every time I go there I pray I don't need to deal with this abrasive person, she seems like she never wants to be there and if you don't have your pick up slip with you then you're bound to get some sort of negative retort and unwarranted attitude. If you hate your life so much, please try to find some positive inspiration else where. No, I don't understand what USPS workers go through because I have never worked as one. I certainly do understand how it is to work in the service industry (as a server, manager) and also I work in healthcare as well. Everyone can have their bad days but is it okay to always sour to the rest of the world when you know you can get away with it? read more

I don't have too much to say about Post Office, it's cheap and it gets the job done, I got nothing to complain expect for the relatively short hours. Usually things are ok and there's always a long line, but there wasn't today when I got there, so the trip was short and sweet. I dropped a return package, and was planning to pick up a registered mail from 6/11... Turned out nobody knows for sure where that package is, but I guess it should be fine. I've been waiting for this international package for over a month, and when I finally got out of patience yesterday, I found out that USPS website says that they couldn't reach me so they left a notice on 6/11/14. Wow, I never saw any notice or whatsoever, and have no idea my package has been at the post office for over a month... Apparently they only keep international mails for 30 days, and the package was nowhere to be found. They told me the package must have been returned already, thought the online tracking system still says it's here. Well it's an online purchase so I won't freak out about it being returned (hopefully I could get refund), I just hope someone could locate the package so it's not lost or stuck in some corner... I don't blame them since it's been over 30 days, but I don't know how I'm supposed to feel, since I myself did not receive any notice saying my package is there... I guess I should have checked it out online earlier, lazy me. Not sure if I'm a fan, but pretty sure will keep coming back. read more

Since I'm only dropping off, I don't have to wait in line (they have a spot on the counter for you to place your packages that already have shipping labels attached). I don't normally use this post office as it's not in the area that I reside in. I've only used this post office twice. The first time, I had no issues. A little slow in it's processing and shipping time but nothing like my second experience. I had a package that I needed to ship so on my way to workout at my boot camp in the area I dropped it off at this location around 6:15pm on Monday, October 9th. The bin to deposit larger packages was locked for whatever reason. It wasn't like that the first time I dropped a package off. I saw a few (3-4) packages on top of the bin. Some were priority like mine so I thought I guess I can leave it here. Thinking maybe this is what they do if the bin is locked; maybe it was full!?! Well my package has now DISAPPEARED! It was never scanned so the tracking number is useless. I spoke with a male employee and he didn't have any advice to offer. I drove back to the location on Friday to look around to see maybe if the package was left on top. NOTHING! There's a camera right in front pointed in the direction of the bin. So my question is are they not able to review the security camera tape to see what happened to my package??? Is just my package lost or all of the packages that were on top? Do people walk into the post office and steal packages!?! Or is this a case of an employee not doing their job efficiently? Either way I was sending items to a customer so now I have to refund them their money and I've lost my merchandise as well. I will not be using this post office again!!!!!! read more

Wow, this is very strange experience at the post office, in a great way. I had to mail a charger and few other small items that my friend left behind from her visit to Houston. I arrive at this post office and while deciding while envelope or box would be best to use , an employee of this post office came out and answers some of my questions and give me instructions. I really appreciated the friendliness and the professional service he provided. I was thinking to myself, this is very unusually to receive this kind of service at the post office. It remind me of the services that I would get at Nordstrom. I then think to myself may be it my lucky day since there are not a lot of people here and wonder if I would get the same level of service next time. After the items are in a box, I then went to get in line to mail it out. The lady that help me was as friendly and helpful. I have the experience that she actually appreciated me as a customer. As I walk out of this place, I though to myself, this is not a fluke that I receive great service here today. They actually provide exceptional service here at his post office.
