The staff of this wonderful small town post office delivers over 7,000 pieces of mail a day and CARES! As far as I'm concerned, anyone writing a nasty negative review here about the Berthoud Post Office is probably (just) an entitled idiot who thinks the world revolves around them. I've known post offices in Los Angeles, Stamford CT, Laramie, WY and Fort Collins CO...and Berthoud is head and shoulders happier and better than the rest! GO BERTHOUD PO! read more

Post office in Berthoud is the worst. I resale items online and I'm dropping packages off for delivery all the times. There is really no good place to drop my items off to ship. The place looks like it hasn't changed since the 60s. Most of the ppl working there are rude and angry. The lady barked at me to toss my packages in a bin in their back room like I should have known. The way it's been done since 1947 You know just go in the back and toss them in the old bin. I guess I didn't get the telegram. read more

I logged on to my usps account and put my mail on hold for two weeks. When I returned all my mail was in the mailbox. Sad.

I think they do a fine job - no complaints. People very friendly and they get the lines thru quickly.

Need to update hours if no one is going to be there. Went in at 4 to drop off packages and all the doors were locked.

Worst post office ever when I moved from New Jersey to Berthoud,CO In October 2021. The lost my mail for over 3 months, very, very rude carriers and the post office manager. Lost all my Christmas packages too from back east to my home. I heard my neighbors say their mail constantly lost too. I gave up with them. I went and got a po Box# in Loveland. Spoke to postmaster there and he said Berthoud po is the absolute worst customer service in Larimer County. really sad for him to tell me that. Mail service in Loveland is light years better than Bethoud. I contacted my Congressman office and they said that Berthoud with many other postal offices throughout CO were being investigated due to horrible service. I never dealt with those rude jerks again. I know many PO# in Colorado are severely mismanaged. Why? NJ was not perfect either but here ...shocking how awful it is. read more

I've been going to this post office very regularly as I have an online shop and the service has been exceptional! The entire staff is super friendly and gives it their all. They are hiring so if they are short staffed, it doesn't show. I can't wait to see what they do at full strength. Thank you all for your hard work and efforts. read more

What are the rudest interactions I have ever had I needed a new key for a mailbox but before I went, I called the US Postal Service direct and asked for exact instructions and documents. Once I got there the man at the dest said I don't care what the post office phone said. nothing like being a scumbag with no reason in the middle of the holidays. Merry Christmas. read more

Berthoud Colorado post office is a joke. can't get ahold of them during business hours, they don't answer their phone. my mail is now suddenly randomly delivered every 7-10 days on a good week and with multiple complaints, begging and inquiries. the "resume mail delivery date" after a properly filed online mail hold request isn't honored. apparently the mail carrier works when he wants but is still getting paid. the name is Adrian, apparently nobody in the post office knows if he's delivered mail or showed up to work or not and they seem surprised when our mail is still sitting in the box. We have had car registrations not show up since February, we have had banking statements show up at the neighbors we have had bills late because of this ongoing problem, lack of accountability, and this employee named Adrian they are supposedly paying to deliver the mail daily read more

Not Managed well. I was in there to mail 2 letters and after standing in line for 35 minutes I was still not served. They were overloaded with customers and only 1 old man servicing the people. Some woman had12 boxes to mail and did no info on the boxes. The line continued to grow and still no help. The gentleman beside me was also disturbed and I said something. My response was told they were going to call the police, some Mexican behind the counter yelling at me some type of threat, The Manager just about pushed me out the door. I took some pictures which really pissed her off. I had a witness standing next to me and she wouldn't even listen to him. The whole situation could have been resolved if she would have got off her ass and helped the old guy taking the pressure off of him. That used to be my main post office but there are far better ways to do business than Berthoud. Loveland is a lot better. If any has a better solution than this article I would appreciate any information. The management there needs to be changed. I am going to send this to every government person I can find probably with no result. Talking to Loveland Post Office they have had a lot of complaints about Berthoud. read more

If you want to get a package on time, you better hope it doesn't come through this post office. About half the time, we don't get mail at all. Hispanic lady at front desk, short , over weight, 60s? Very rude, loud , thinks her jokes are funny, the only thing that's funny is her looks, the post office should supply this clerk a bag to put over her head!!! She has the nerve to make fun of a disabled veteran. read more

When I go there to send anything there is usually only one person at the front desk and a line of people. Some people that work there, one lady in particular, thinks she is funny but she isn't. Thay have a problem with delivery of mail to the right address. I had a unemployment check missing for two weeks and it was found in the back room after they supposedly looked for it three times in the two weeks. I think that the people that work there do try but I think there leadership and training need upgraded. read more

Got to love spending $30 for express shipping only to have the Berthoud Post Office refuse to deliver it and hold it hostage at their post office. I personally won't order anything that requires the USPS to deliver ever again as long as I live here. WORST POST OFFICE EVER!!!! I wish I could give the Berthoud Post Office a better rating but I cannot! Every time I order something, it ends up getting delivered to my neighbor who has the same house number but lives on a different street!! Then my neighbor Kindly brings it to my house - the last time it was my dog's medicine!! Today it is a Land's End order - got proof of delivery but of course I have no key because they delivered it to someone else. I just don't get it - they need to hire someone who can read. read more

Absolutely THE WORST Post office I have ever dealt with. I don't get a good 50-60% of the mail I am supposed to get. When trying to call the phone just rings until it disconnects, they NEVER answer the phone! The post master is RUDE AND DISMISSIVE and needs to be fired! If you complain about the service it only gets worse! If I could not use them I would drop them in a heartbeat. read more

Have been going to the Berthoud location for over 23 years and have had a wonderful experience until today. I was first treated gruffly by POSTAL WORKER:DIANA . On Wednesday, January 30th at 3:30 p.m. She growled that she would be with me in a minute ...she was working on something. I responded: "That's okay, take your time." She was in a heated conversation in the back. A line began to grow to 4 to 5 people and someone rang the bell. She came to the counter and yelled at me stating: "What to you want! " I responded: "I came to pick up a package. she again yelled at me: "Where's you ticket?! " I responded... "I did not receive one, all I had was a piece of pink scrap paper with my box number on it along with 3 other numbers that had been crossed out." She yelled ..once.. again: That was it and I should have brought it in". I was totally humiliated in front of the other customers for simply trying to pick up a package. I do not understand why an employee feels that she can be so rude to customers and her fellow workers and still have a job. Berthoud deserves better customer service. . read more
