The times that I have come into this post office though, the staff has seemed stressed out and not overly friendly. In my most recent visit, I didn't know if they had self serve. There are no obvious signs and long lines and no one around to ask. When I finally got up to the door, I asked if there was self serve as the employee was going to close the door. I opted to go over to the self serve. There is only one self serve station so be forewarned if you go over there. If anyone is in front of you they may take just as long as the line. It is on the west entrance. This post office is smaller as well and just not as user friendly. Will try to stick with the JFK office when i need postal needs. This one just has not ever been overly impressive.

Mail was sent a month ago and now it's lost because courier didn't bother coming to the door and verifying. Just go through UPS or FedEx if you need to send something important. It reached all the way to my neighborhood but since the courier decided not to deliver, I don't have the things I need. I talked to customer service and was told it was wrong of the courier to not at least knock and verify, something they should've done.

My daughters and I are able to travel the world!…read more After several scheduled appointments at the Longmont location, I was disappointed and worried about getting our documents in time for our trip out of the country come March 2022. But after one attempt we finally got an appointment at the Lyons Post Office and about 7 weeks later we got our passports! I highly recommend and most of it is required but have ALL your paperwork ready when you make your appointment. Birth certificates for all along with with a picture ID and a completed passport application is a must. I have full custody of my 2 daughters so I had to provide a court order copy. Otherwise both biological parents have to be present and sign for minor children. The Lyons Post Office was clean and no busy at all. They also offer the passport photo taking so no need to worry about that! For 3 passports, it was less than $400!

We wasted our time believing what their website said about their hours and services provided but that was a huge mistake that wasted our time. We booked an appointment for a notary because my mother has cancer and is ill and legal documents needed to be updated. They had 4 1/2 hours after the store opened to contact us about our appointment but never contacted us. We wasted our time, energy and gas to drive there and wait in line only to be told in a nonchalant tone that they just didn't have time to look at the calendar for that day so had no notary. We work and Saturday was the only day for us to get this done and the timing is critical because of my mom's illness. To say we are unhappy is an understatement!! Shame on you, Windsor UPS Store!
