The husband and wife had attitudes and I had no intention of ever using them again. It was a pleasant surprise to meet the new owner and he was easy to work with. In January, I needed to mail a "one last Christmas present" to my daughter, a $4.50 deck of cards…read morewith a specific message just for her that weren't in stock in time for Christmas. Due to my work schedule, I had to mail it in the evening. I normally use the Meijer mailing station on Hurstbourne, but their postage machine was out of order that evening. An internet search on my phone gave me this Postal Annex as the only mailing station open, and it would be several days before I could get another chance to mail it. So I drove there from Meijer on Hurstbourne, waited a long time while the clerk waited on a slow customer (not the clerk's fault), and nearly swallowed my teeth when the clerk slapped a mailing label over the envelope it was in and told me it was going to cost me $9.50 to mail this $4.50 deck of cards. I objected to the price, specifically asked if there wasn't a cheaper way to mail it, and he said no, the only other way I could send it was by FedEx and that would cost me $22.00. He told me delivery was guaranteed in 2 days. I wasn't trying to mail it 2-day delivery, but he wouldn't budge on the delivery option or the price, except to go up. So I paid $9.50 to mail a $4.50 deck of cards. I walked away feeling lied to, exploited, and very abused. The small gift that I paid more than double the price of to mail took 11 days to get to my daughter on the 2-day delivery option I didn't want but was forced to pay for "or you can go somewhere else tomorrow." I couldn't go somewhere else the next day. I couldn't go somewhere else until the next week. That's why I was there. I filed a complaint with the USPS and was told that since this place is a Delivery Annex, not an actual Post Office, there are no rules that apply to them and they can do anything they want. First, the USPS shouldn't have that kind of contract with anybody. That's just stupid. Second, I will never, for any reason, in my life return to that Postal Annex. There is a saying, "Use me once, shame on you; use me twice, shame on me." This Postal Annex will never have the opportunity to exploit me again. Third, I want everybody to be aware of the fact that this place practices extreme price gouging. Fourth, I want people to be aware that I suspect I was exploited because I am female or an older adult, or both, in which case it practices gender or age profiling, or both, in setting its prices.

Their reviews were great and the quote he gave me was less than PODS! John and his team moved me from Mount Washington KY to Stow OH. I needed to do a pickup on one day and delivery the next day, due to the time it took us to get to the drop off location and having to get keys from landlord. They totally made that happen. John Cotton stayed in communication with me on the pickup date after one of their trucks broke down. My Movers were Will and Jonathan and they were amazing! They were able to get the backup truck to me in a few hours. They loaded me up (2 BR House) in 2 hours. They met me the next day in OH at the designated time. They unloaded for me so fast! They even put together an entertainment center for me (I tipped them for that). I would absolutely recommend TopDogg Moving to anyone and use them again.

He also texted that the movers would arrive between 1 pm and 3 pm. Before 1 pm, I went to the condo to wait. 3 pm passes by and there is no call nor the movers. I called John, and he informed me that the movers needed to eat and would arrive by 4 pm. This times passes, and there is no call about the delay again. Eventually, I get a call by a mover. He informed me that they would arrive in 15 min. I explained that I was disappointed with the lack of communication and not meeting the commitment. Apparently, this mover (John's brother) informed John about my disappointment. Within a few minutes, John calls to inform me that the movers were not coming. He stated that we do not serve unappreciated customers. I'm sure that below John will share that his workers moved stuff in 130 degrees, and they were on my way. I told John's brother that the movers could still come to complete the job. It was John and this moving company that decided to cancelled the scheduled move. If you are okay with the movers not showing up for your move, then by all means hire TopDogg Moving. In the coming days, I will inform my real estate agent (who is the incoming president of the association), my HOA and the community, my colleagues at the university, church members, friends, etc., relating to my experience. Moreover, I have begun the discussion with the state agency that overseas licensing of these moving companies. Whether a move is small or big, whether the second appointment is a second thought, these moving companies should not renege on their commitments.

SIE hasn't carried Ariens mowers for many years, and they do not carry ANY Ariens parts what-so-ever. Additionally the only retailer selling Ariens in the Louisville area is Lowes and they do not handle parts either. BTW this lack of a replacement parts is something you should consider before buying any brand mower. Yes you can find parts on line, but many times you need the part today and on line purchases are not always reliable and can take a week or more to be delivered. All that said, recently I've needed a couple parts and could not find them anywhere locally. When I searched on line for my parts, several times my part number was cross referenced with Gravely mower parts. Ariens and Gravely are made by the same manufacturer. So I start researching Gravely dealers in the Louisville area. Eureka, The Mower Shop is a Gravely dealer! Not only is The Mower Shop a Gravely dealer, they carry a large inventory of replacement parts. The Mower Shop has had every part I've needed so far, and at reasonable prices. Additionally, the employees I've dealt with were all friendly and knowledgeable. IF I ever buy a new zero turn, The Mower Shop will be my first stop!

We did not have the recept or card statement. but after contacting Toro/ Briggs they suggested going to an authorized service center and if it was that new ( less than year ?) they would be able to verify by serial # ...I remembered my parents had bought mowers there years back (I'm almost 68 so years ago) the guy at the desk was very courteous. But he went back to ask the " lady that handled warranties" each time he came back I wasn't able to provide..receipt no..credit card statement no ...I had intended to leave it for repair ( on my dime) but an older larger woman came out to repeat what he had already said...but then said I had not been told what I said by the engine company...as a retired medical professional I suppose I had not been called a liar in so long I was shocked. He went to see cost to check it out after he stepped away I thought why patronize people who feel free to call you a liar ..so I eggresses replaced my mower in the truck...but came back In side to tell him why I was not leaving it and to thank him for his time. They appear busy so I guess they have plenty of business...not to worry I won't waste another minute there....I looked online when I returned home and there are things posted from Briggs and Toro indicating what I was told. I'm not sure why she chose to say they never told you that as opposed to they may have told you that but our company policy won't allow it or ? Perhaps being a mower warranty clerk in a mower shop at her age has made her bitter ? Who knows... I think we'd use pinking shears on the lawn before returning there.
