I come to this location often, (i ship a lot of items) and I've honestly never encountered a problem. Yeah, the lines have been long at times, but that's normal with any place. I had a great experience at the Crittenden Drive location in Louisville. I went there to see about getting a replacement for my misplaced passport card. It was super busy but the employees had everything under control. There were several customers for whom English was a second language who sometimes struggled to communicate. There was a woman with a rambunctious child there for services. The staff helped each of us with the same friendliness and respect. I very much appreciated the kindness and patience exhibited toward marginalized community members from a government facility. A woman named Becky, I believe, waited on me. She was efficient and informative. I didn't expect to be able to actually get my picture for my passport card taken an application submitted today, but once she realized I had brought proper documentation, Becky let me know I had time to fill out the papers and get it done before the 3pm cut off time. The process was quick and very organized. It was all women working as far as I could see and these ladies had it together! They had positive attitudes with all of the customers and with one another. They gave the impression that they enjoyed their jobs. I will definitely go back to this location when I need USPS services again. read more

Mi wish I could give this location 0 stars. Horrible customer service, rude staff. Wish I had gotten names but I was there at 5:50 on 8-5-25 and they already had their gates pulled. If you close at 6- doesn't that mean you serve customers u til that time, then at 6 close your gates and balance your drawer?? read more

Went to get passport at this location on 11/02/24. Neither the worker to open the window nor the person to accept the passport application bothered to show up for work. A postal worker who was sent to see what was going on told us to avoid this branch as this is a common occurrence. read more

Terrible staff totally incompetent, made two different trips to try to get fingerprints scanned and they where to inept to get the machine to work. Told me that I would just have to try a different location but there is no different location in the entire city. The whole staff needs to be fired especially the manager. read more

The US Postal Service location at 4444 Crittenden Drive is a convenient location with lots of parking. It is convenient to Churchill Downs with easy access in and out of the area. I have used it for package drop off without any issues. I usually stop by during off times and have been able to get in and out quickly. read more

Yes, it's the 21st century. But we all still need a "go to" post office. Somewhat between my work and house, this USPS location has become my "go to" post office. I'm also nearly positive it is actually open 24 hours a day, which makes it convenient if you don't want to deal with lines. Granted, the counter isn't open for 24 hours, but the building is always stocked with plenty flat rate boxes and has spots to drop in your mail. There is a self-service machine to mail packages, buy stamps, etc. The one downside to this location is that it generally seems to be pretty busy (at least at the end of the workday, when I generally go.) So back to the self-serve machine... Take advantage of it! It seems many people are intimidated by it, so I've never waited in a line to use it. I will note the stamps aren't "pretty" ones, so if you want nice stamps, buy them at the counter. Otherwise, go for it. I always try to keep packing tape in my car so I can tape my own boxes up, and bring your own packing materials if you're using a flat rate box. Also, a pen is handy to fill out labels. Overall, the service I've had at this post office has been good. I even had my passport photo and application taken here. I'm only taking off a star because one I had awkward service and there can be a long line at the counter. read more

This post office is a nice once, they have loads of parking and they're reasonably quick. There is always someone getting a passport when I'm there so I'm routinely jealous of someone going on an adventure that I am not. I don't have anything bad to say about the place, myself, but I have pretty low expectations for a post office. read more

SLOOOOWWWW service. Typical for most USPS but this one is one of the worst. I went about 10 min after they opened on a friday. They had one lady working the front and a line of about 6 people. She was very very very slow working with the computer system. The customers before me were not asking for anything special, basic sending packages out type things and each customer took her about 4-5 minutes, typical package send outs should not take that long. This looks like it used to be a major USPS hub here, the store itself is clean but not well stocked. It looks like they have downsized but never really made the full attempt to lock things out. read more

It really saddens me that I have had three packages lost in the mail in th spats month. That's not counting the 10-15 other packages in the past couple years that have been lost. That's also not counting the ring that was stolen by a worker and finally given back to me by an extremely apologetic manager. All in all... It's the cheapest way to send mail and packages but the scariest! Be sure to put insurance on your packages and tracking!!! Also, customer service is a hit or miss along with the long lines. Recently walked in for passport renewal. Luckily not a wait. Young lady that helped us was very knowledgeable and helpful with process. She was pleasant. Couldn't have asked for a better experience at the post office. Not much more I can add. Very helpful if you print your documents at home and have everything in order like we did. If I could give this a zero I would give it at -5! Horrifying customer service. Me and my mother walked in for a passport book and right when we walked in the lady at the front started full on screaming at us and my telling my mother to shut when we were explained why we were there!! She later wanted to send us back after knowing we had an appointment! This lady should be fired her attitude stinks and it ruins everyone's day. What a garbage USPS. read more

If I could Give zero stars I would... i've been here three days in a row and I've been turned down from getting my passport. I was told that I could come on Thursday and get it done before 5 o'clock between the hours of 4 & 5 I was turned around tell me come back on a Friday I did & the same lady MS.HELEN rude & JUST said the same thing to me said to come back on a Friday when I did come back on a Friday between four and five as I walk in, @t 4 o'clock. It is now 4:40. Told me the lady that does. The passport is no longer here because She locked her keys in the car and she don't know when she'll be coming back and to come back another day that she was the only one who do the Passport but yesterday as of 5/11/23 I SEEN MS.HELEN while I was standing in Ine for 20 minutes that She did not do Passport I watched her do some one elses the DAY Before so unprofessional told me to stand by the window, or sit on the windowseal until she gets back. read more

The two women that work in there have a bad attitude. When I came up drop off a few things to ship, one of the packages didn't have enough postage on it which I understood. She acted like I was trying to cheat them out or something, I offered to pay for a new label and she was rude about it and told me they "didn't print" there. Then 2 minutes later I got her to print a new label, sheesh just help me out here. read more

Horrible customer service. After accepting i had to pay for tape the post offfice worker heather berated me about how she understood why people had to pay. When i offered my opinion that i didnt understand and i was glad some one did she would not provide me service, she would not give me her name. She conti ued to be rude as i was helped by anotber worker. She judged if i had a job or not. She said i was making a fool of myself. She yelled loudly as i was being helped when she charged a other lady for tape. She lacked professionalism, customer service she was sarcasitc and entitled.
