Tasha is the associate that took care of me. She is super slow and is super rude. She doesn't know how to treat the customers when they ask her a question. An older gentleman asked her a question and she was super rude to him and rolled her eyes at him. She didn't want to take care of him and wanted her coworker to take care of him instead because she doesn't feel like working. Unfortunately this is the branch responsible for delivering mail to my house. My mail carrier is a moron. Frequently delivers other people's mail to my mailbox and my mail to others. I have had missing packages due to this person's incompetence. My latest package containing a one of a kind special gift from a loved one was mis-delivered and lost this week. The branch's response was to close out the ticket and say "oh well, file an insurance claim if it was insured - if not we're sorry but you're out of luck." Here's a suggestion: have the idiot carrier who delivered my package to the wrong house reimburse me for my loss. I have been coming to this post office since 2018 and it has fallen off big time. These new workers are slow !! They have hired a lot of older women, so the wait time is a lot longer because they move very slow and the younger women that are at this post office don't have any type of etiquette.. The absolute worst service for a US Postal Office. If you come here, be prepared to be waiting in line for minimum 30 minutes. Only 1 person on the counter helping, while everybody else hides in the back knowing they have 10+ people waiting in line. It's the post office and things don't change much from location to location. Five stars for the amazing efficient setup that makes you feel like you are entering a very efficient business. That's what they have here. It is big and bright on the inside... A huge lobby and great decorations. very inviting. Also five stars for the wonderful team of people here. Nothing but friendly smiles and a very professional staff. We were able to walk here from our hotel which did not surprise me. I also love not having to worry about parking, which they did not seem to have a lot of. Saratoga Springs is very easy to navigate and get from one spot to another. It nice to read the other reviews and see that most people also commented about the team here. They definitely deserve all the good reviews they get. Helpful staff, services friendly community, however low on supplies, no priority boxes

The staff is great! Always friendly and ready to help. My only problem is I have a mail box and the door should open at 6am for the mailbox section and countless times I get here and it is not open. If I could leave no stars I would. On 3/26/2025 at about 3:30pm I went to this beach with my service dog (wearing her vest) to pick up my mail and pay for my PO Box. While I was in line with about 8 people in front of my a clerk says excuse me sir, excuse me sir and I asked if she meant me she said yes. I walked up to the counter and she tells me my service dog is not allowed in there because a week ago a dog peed . I explained to her that my service dog is allowed in the location. She snapped back with a no she ain't allowed! I asked to speak with the Postmaster so she walks away and comes back saying she's allowed and I responded yeah. She said what did I say? I said yeah and what did I mean? I said you said she's allowed and I said yeah. Then she tells me to go to the back of the line with about 15 people waiting and calls "next customer " I felt so discriminated against because I have my service dog. I wish they would treat customers better and that the Postmaster would have come out to talk with me. read more

Listen up! What an experience I had with this post office location. First, life happens to where you can't get to your mail, deliveries (intentional or unintentional) occurs, money orders, PO Box, and more. Whatever could happen, happened. Second, I anticipated a continuation of horrific customer service as experienced via interactions here in the USA. However, I was pleasantly surprised when the opposite occurred in dealing with the US Post office (Tamarac) location at 7875 NW 57 Street. Third, I had a team of people work together to provide the quality of customer service shared and experienced. What could have been a "No, you must go do twenty different action steps to resolve the matter" turned out to be " wait right here as we figure this out with you and for you." I was blown away but so happy to see that at least somewhere in the USA got it right. The thing is called CUSTOMER SERVICE! KUDOS to the following team that simply made my day by the display of kindness, willingness to help, and making me and my family feel like the loyal customers for multiple years that we are at the post office and this location. Worst post office I have ever visited. I've been here on very few and rare occasions to pick up my mail and each time it's the same prolonged waits. Today I decided to go pick up a package I had to sign for since I missed the delivery. I went with my 3 wk newborn like an idiot thinking I was going to be helped within 20-30 mins of getting there. As soon as it's my turn Barbara the lady at the front sends me to a separate line, mind u at this point I had already been waiting a good 30 mins, I'm waiting and waiting and an entire hour goes by an still no help. An older lady comes helps another guest and then quickly goes right back to the back room. I ask Barbara if anyone is coming to help me and she just goes I already let someone know. She claimed she couldn't help me because she can't leave her station but when she came to get relieved the girl who relieved her let her station to grab my id and package pick up slip. I came here last week to pick up stamps so I could mail out my holiday cards the day before Thanksgiving so my friends would start receiving them the day after Thanksgiving and send me nasty emails for being so prompt. It's a tradition and I enjoy it. Anyway, I didn't want to use regular stamps when I know the post office comes out with holiday stamps every year. So, I trudged off through the snow to the post office. Okay, actually I rode the motorcycle in a tee shirt because it was about 80 degrees, but "trudging" is such a great word and you can't use it with "motorcycle." At any rate, I went. Now, because of Covid they only allow 5 people in the lobby. Okay. That will maintain social distancing. The rest have to wait in the outer area, and eventually, out of the building. I waited along with everyone else, but when I finally got inside I was a little perturbed to see that they only had one window open. There were people lined up into the outer lobby, so obviously they have enough business that they can have at least two windows open. Another worker finally came out and I was the fourth person he helped while the other employee was still dealing with the same customer. Perhaps they should hire people who can work a little faster, would be my suggestion. No one likes to have to wait longer than they should. But I did manage to get the cards out, so it all ended happily. And a few days later, when another post office wasn't able to assist me, I was able to get my package out at this location. So they get an "OK." I wish I could give them "Good" but with the way they do their jobs, I just can't. Hopefully one day we'll have a post office that our country can take pride in again. Within three weeks the postal worker has been placing my personal mail in another building instead of the addressed and mail box number it is supposed to be placed in, as a result whoever got my mail has sent it back to the sender, as a result the sender has emailed me if I had a change of address, I will be bringing legal charges against the PO. read more

Just here trying to figure out where my package is? It says it was delivered "IN THE MAILBOX". I literally checked my box the moment the postal worker closed it and yup, you guessed... NO PACKAGE. I had to pick up an envelope because the sender didn't put enough stamps on the envelope. I went in after work one weekday and the line was so long. I kind of expected it because the post office to me is like the DMV. Both have really long lines and the customer service is usually not good. There were three associates working, I feel for these people since they have to deal with the public and the many personalities that come with it. I wonder why they can't hire more people to reduce the lines? I waited about thirty minutes before I reached an associate. The man was surprisingly very friendly. I told him the situation and he went to look for my envelope. I paid the difference with my card and I was on my way. The transaction was smooth considering the line was long; with my luck I thought there was going to be an issue after waiting that long. The man was quick and efficient; fortunately my issue was simple, other people's were more difficult. In the end, this is a standard post office, I usually try to avoid coming here unless it's an emergency. This is the closest post office to me. Although not my favorite, it's small and tucked away where it's not so busy. They keep everything at hand, orderly and clean. Customer Service is excellent and most of the civil servants have been working at this location for many years, just like Fred, one of my favorites. They treat you like family and even remember your name. What's more, they help you decide how to mail your packages in a way that you can save money and have them delivered quickly without all the extras off their "menu." My go to neighborhood post office. The staff are very friendly and work efficiently to get you in and out. The only downside is that it is usually always crowded. I've tried experimenting and coming here at various hours throughout the day and usually always have a 15-20min minimum wait. There are always only two employees working, even when the line is out of the door. And it seems as though the line always stretches out of the door. Be cautious if you come mid afternoon, because that's lunchtime and the employee count subtracts from two to one, then you're waiting in line for at least 45 mins. You've been warned. read more

I've been a couple times and usually don't have a choice but to come during lunch time and it's always packed. Not surprising and there's not much they can do about it. They have 2 or 3 people there working and they're nice, but a little slow. Normally when I come it's to drop off a package with a pre-printed label and today the gentleman told me I could drop it off to the side if they have an extra person to quickly scan it rather than waiting in the long line but he recommended that I don't leave it without being scanned just to be sure it doesn't get lost in the shuffle. For the longest time they would have only two windows manned. The last two times I have been there they have actually had four windows manned. The people at the windows are very nice, patient and on several occasions have offered me alternatives in my mailing options to save me money. For some reason, the automated postal machine is not functioning from time to time and the length of those outages have spanned more than one visit by me. I honestly gave 2 stars just for my encounter with one of the front desk reps. ( Wish I got his name ugh) He was very kind I was returning clothing I purchased online. I had to print out a return label before I could send my package which I wasn't aware of. The rep provided me with adequate information on what to do so I could get it and return. I left went home to print it and returned back. Upon arrival I had to wait again in a long line (no one's fault but just mentioning it). Once to the front I hoped I would get him again but instead I was called upon by another associate. I was not aware of the procedure for prepaid labeling so she was a little upset by that . I was suppose to have my own packaging tape to tape my items with . Who knew? And I sure as heck don't walk around with packaging tape in my purse. So I was told I cannot use theres, I would have to purchase it for 4 dollar's. I had to tape It myself and then rejoin the line and she could ship it. Fine I wasn't aware slightly aggravated at the situation. But attitude goes a long way. Not only is it slow with long lines but it's a Monday I could not imagine a Friday here. UPDATE: I was expecting a package to be delivered on Tuesday this week and it was marked as delivered at/in my mailbox. Guess what? No package in, at, around, dangling from, or making a cameo at that mailbox; it didn't wander to my door either. So this post office is what you typically expect. There is always a line of people, the parking lot is pretty much jammed full, and the self checkout machine is usually broken. When I go here I typically have to wait at least 15-20 minutes and that's with 3 people working the counter. If you can use the self checkout machine (assuming it's actually working) the line isn't too long. Just plan on spending about 30 minutes to mail your packages. I highly recommend printing your labels online using the USPS site. It's a tad cheaper and you can just drop off your package. :) read more
