I had read several negative things online about United Tires, but here is my actual experience. I drive a 2026 Tesla Model Y, and my rear driver-side tire punctured twice within 6-7 months. The second puncture was only 8 inches away from the first--just bad luck, I guess. I went to Pep Boys to have it patched, but they told me they couldn't do it because the two punctures were too close together. They quoted me nearly $450 to order and install the original tire, a Pirelli Scorpion MS. I wasn't sure what to do, so I told them to order it, but I decided to search online for other options in the meantime. When I got home, a friend suggested United Tires. I found a new Pirelli Scorpion MS on their website for around $200, tax included. Initially, I didn't believe it and was very skeptical. After doing some research, I learned that while United Tires mainly sells used tires, they also sell new ones. I contacted them to verify the condition and the DOT date; they confirmed the tire was new with a DOT of 3325, making it about 8 months old. I placed the order, and the tire arrived via FedEx within 4-5 days. It didn't have any packaging--just the tire itself with the FedEx and United Tires stamps on it. I took the tire directly to Pep Boys to see if they would install it. They scheduled me for the next day but warned me that the tire had to be brand new. I assured them it was. Upon inspection, the tire showed no damage: the internal sound-absorbing foam was clean, the factory stripes were still on the outside, and the treads were a perfect 10/32. Even so, the clerk at the desk saw the United Tires label and told me that since the company mostly sells used tires, the shop might refuse to install it. I went home and removed all the shipping stickers from the tire. When I returned to Pep Boys the next day, I waited an hour for the installation and this time, no one said a word--most likely because I had removed the stickers. It has been a week now, I've driven about 200 miles, and the tire hasn't displayed any issues. One thing for Tesla owners to note: my car initially gave a "Tread Depth Low" priority notification and felt a bit jerky on Autosteer because the new tire was taller than the worn ones. However, once I went into the Service menu on the touchscreen and performed a wheel calibration reset, everything smoothed out and the alerts disappeared. I can't speak for their used inventory, but the new tire I received was solid. Pep Boys and other retailers were charging double what I paid at United Tires. I suspect the price difference exists because many new Tesla owners immediately replace their default tires with specialized ones, creating a surplus of new stock for Florida drivers like me. BEWARE THEY ONLY WANT YOUR MONEY!!! Bought the tires, size 275/55 r20, on Feb 10, 2026. After installation my truck ABS triggered. Took the truck to the shop for diagnostic and repair. Parts were back ordered and scheduling for repair was backed up. My truck was held for 2-3 month. After my truck got repair and paid about $2,000 in repair, i was notified by the technician that the ABS was caused by a wrong size tire (275/60 r20, which was the set i recently bought. Contact the shop directly and they would not exchange or refund as they consider the tire "used". The tire got less than 50 miles as it trigger the ABS after a few miles of driving back home. I brought my car in to replace a tire and when they were done my tire sensor no longer works. I bought the car back and talked to one of the managers named Tom how promised if I bring it back on Friday before 1:00 PM they would make sure I am satisfied. Left work early so I can take the car before 1:00PM and they took the car in then he gave me the expert news. He said the sensor was not broken by them therefore I have to pay for it. This guy does not belong as a manager anywhere near a tire shop. He greets people with this shit attitude then changes his mind about fixing something they broke. I ordered 2 tires. When they arrived, one was badly chaffed. I was1st offered a $7 credit, then $10, which I responded to as an insult. they should be responsible for whoever inspected the tire. When i said that the tire was only worth 3/4 of what I paid, they responded that would be $71.37 and that they were only willing to refund $50. After sending them photos to confirm, they offered me a $65 partial refund for the inconvenience, which I declined and wanted to ship them their tire back and get what I originally wanted. I shipped it back the same day I received it. Once they received it, they accused me of sending them a different tire, saying that the original tire they sent was a brand-new one. They said that their tires have a specific marking (which this one apparently did not have) before sending them out. Well, if their employees actually inspected the tire like they said they did and put the markings on it, then they would have sent me a new tire in the first place, and there would be no problem. I found united tires from a Google search. The website comes up as Utires.com. The prices were so low that I thought it had to be a scam. I chatted from there website and asked about a set of used tires. The representative said the ones I was looking at might be pretty low tread and he sent me a link to a better set. I asked how much shipping was (they are in Chicago and I am in California)...they said included in price. Hmm seemed too good to be true right? I ordered a tire to replace a tire with a separated belt. I didn't want to buy a new set of Nitto Ridge grapplers so I figured id grab one with similar wear and so the strain on the transfer case wouldn't happen. plus $2600 because of one tire hurts my soul. Any who, I found a Nitto on United Tires for a pretty good deal and matching tread depth and reading the website they mention the inspection process. Long story short I received the tire and what looked to be very large chunks missing from the tread blocks and also a 1 and a half ft slice less than an inch from the side walls. This is not hidden and could be mistaken. It was obvious and in no way should have passed any inspection. Not only that but the inner walls of the tires have 2 bumps indicating belt separation. This tire was obviously in an accident with impact on the tires. There inspection process Is not what they state and I was sold a dangerous tire that could have caused an accident. After spending an embarrassing amount on tires over the years, and faced with yet another flat tire (that was not repairable), my wife suggested I buy a used tire. I responded something along the lines of, "A used tire? But I won't know its history or whether I can trust the shop that sells it to me." Well, well, well... it turns out there is a company out there that sells used tires that in excellent condition and well-repaired - United Tires! My tires normally cost over $500 new. I found a like-new one on unitedtires.com that had 10/32 treadware and only cost ~$80! It took about a week for it to arrive to me in AZ from where it was shipped (IL, I believe). In the meantime, I purchased a new, but less expensive tire to use as a spare... and my ride was a bit bumpier than with the nicer and more expensive tire on it. When my tire arrived from United, the tire looked like new... so I took it to my local tire shop to install it (so it did cost me another $40 or so for that)... and now my vehicle drives like new again! I ordered a Milestar 205/60r16 and had it professionally installed. I came back to my car later that evening and the tire was completely flat. I assumed it was a nail and took it to a tire shop. They showed me there was no nail, but a hole in the sidewall. I purchased another tire from that shop and contacted United Tire for a refund for the defective tire they sent. I spoke to Yuri, who asked for pictures of the DOT number. I went back to the shop, requested to see the tire, take pictures, emailed them and went home. Later, he stated that the DOT number sent didn't match the tire they sent me. Bull. I called and got Yuri on the phone. He stated he needs pictures of the chalk mark inside the tire. Now, I had to go back to the shop again, request the tire in hopes that they still had it, take pictures and send them. First, sending a defective tire is bad business. Second, I understand safeguarding against someone pulling a fast one. But it isn't the customer's fault that whoever fulfilled the order didn't record the right DOT numbers. Never again. They told me they can legally install tires under 6 years old and with a certain criteria based on the condition of the tires. I called United Tires and explained the situation but they couldn't refund me the full amount back so I lost about $90 dollars and lots of time waiting for the tires to be installed just to find out they were two old. and on and on... Would not recommend! They send out defective tires. One of them had a hole in them. 2 had issues with the inner wall. The mechanic showed them to me and told me all 4 tires were unusable. Called customer service they didn't want to return at first then wanted to charge me 30$ a tire to return. It was some outsourced customer service rep in another country. I asked them were they certified in automotive and they said no. I asked them how they could tell me these tires were still safe to put on my vehicle. He went to go install them and nobody would install them due to them being seven years old, but they looked good then it was a mission to have them picked up. They did send replacement tires however this postponed my dad's trip. I didn't think they would try to send seven year-old Tires. I would have loved to give a 5 review because UnitedTires was quick, with free shipping, and their communication was great via email and on the phone - with genuine care & concern. Unfortunately, I'm giving only a 2-star rating because of how bad the order was messed up. Not just the first go around, but the 2nd go around as well I ordered 2 of the exact same tires, same brand, same model, same tire size and everything - but when I received them the tread patterns were different on each tire, despite them being the "same." I contacted support, they had me send one back, and they sent me a replacement that was supposed to match the tread pattern of the one I kept. I sent emails, pictures, and everything to ensure they knew which one I was keeping (that needed to be matched) and which one I was sending back. Despite all of this and them "checking" on their end to make sure they would send the matching tire, they sent me another tire with the same tread pattern as the one I just sent back. Now I'm on my third go around and I have to send back the original tire and have them send me back the one I just sent back to them! ‍‍‍ UnitedTires could definitely be a 5 if they paid more attention to detail on the tires that they are shipping out. I took the original 2 tires, with different tread patterns, that I ordered to Firestone to have a technician examine them and he advised me not to put 2 tires with this much of a difference in the tread patterns on my vehicle. They supposedly put in a new rear suspension. Five months later I had some noise in the suspension and took it back to them. They told me this is a different car not the same one I brought in. They had a DIFFERENT vin number on the receipt. Btw I only have this car MKZ. So they with the vin number not matching their receipt justified that not the car they worked on. Some how I brought in different car with same make annd model. Also they told me this suspension is original so it was never changed. Basically they never did fixed my car. This place scammed me. I bought a set of tires from them on eBay. They claim the tires are triple checked so on and so forth. I received my tires, 3 of 4 were missing the acoustic foam insert (Tesla tires). Then I finally had them installed and the next morning two were flat. How the hell are these tires checked even once? How can you not notice the giant foam pad that's in one of them, but not the three others? How can you inspect these tires and not notice holes and two of them? Horrible customer service I want to go to an appointment on my car and they charged me over $200 and on top of that he didn't even need alignment. The car was driving good for somehow. My car stopped shaking on the highway and they told me they need new suspensions, which she didn't make sense. I took it somewhere else. They told me that I didn't need an alignment that you only need new brakes and rotors and I changed my brakes and rotors and my car drives perfectly Fine. They did the same thing to my brother. He went for our oxygen sensor and they were telling him that his timing belt was messed up so he took his car to Mercedes and the only change the oxygen sensor. And they told me everything was good. They lied to customers just so they can make more money whole time the other employee told me that they ordered oxygen sensor for the car and that they were gonna put it on, but he told me to not tell his manager so they were just gonna put the oxygen sensor and charge me for a timing belt in labor so when I come pick up my car, my car would be good and it won't show no more codes after they change the oxygen sensor that's why he took it to Mercedes and said that the oxygen sensor is the only problem in the car, but they told the opposite first he said, oxygen sensor and timing belt and then they said the only timing belt whole time, the problem was oxygen sensor do not go there. The plus was that the tires I received were of excellent quality and in very good condition. The negative was that of the 4-tires I purchased, only 3 were delivered on time. For some reason one of the tires went from Chicago to Omaha and then on to Oregon before taking a few days to get back to Omaha. I reached out to Customer Service and they could not give me a reason as to why this occurred. While the tire did eventually find its way to me it was several days later, which caused me a significant inconvenience. While I would probably do business with United Tires again, this experience has left me feeling not 100% in this picture. read more

The tires was used. they try to sell used tires for new ones and after that they told me we can refund you $200 if you want to keep the tires. United Tires review I bought two "used" only been driven once 10/32 tread tires. They arrived and looked brand new and even had the little rubber hairs on the tires. I took them to a local tire shop and had them installed. After installation the tire shop informed me that the tires were manufactured in 2018. So these tires are over 6 years old. Manufacturers recommended tire replacement and NHTSA is at 6 years so I basically paid for tires that I already need to replace. I called United Tires and they said they would refund my money and all I have to do is pay for return shipping. I refused and they told me there is nothing else they can do. At this point I'm out the money I paid, plus the money I was charged to mount these tires and United Tires wants me to pay more to make it right. They have great deals on new old tires that you will have to replace as soon as you mount them! I would use caution when buying from this company. Based on other reviews it appears that it's not uncommon for United Tires to sell tires that are well past their "use by" date! I never leave reviews but these guys warrant one. Despicable service. Ordered six tires on two different orders (2 + 4). Three of them were damaged and unrepairable (1 of 2, 2 of 4). That's a 50% fail rate. The second full order ended up requiring a remount of two old tires so I would not be without a car for a week waiting on the replacements. United Tires refused to compensate me for the remount cost, but also refused to overnight the replacement tires. I would absolutely not order from them again. I had repeatedly emailed to document they had the same tread tires, no damage, DOT codes, etc. I was epically clear I wanted undamaged, no repair tires. They initially refused even sending replacements because they wanted the shop to repair the tires. They had sidewalk damage, so were unrepairable. 50% FAIL RATE. If you have time to kill so don't mind waiting on replacements, then risk it. For me, I needed the car roadworthy for my 18yo to drive to college 800 miles away. I didn't have spare time to not have the car for a week or potentially have the second set of replacements fail too. I chose high tread higher quality used tires instead of the cheap new tires I could've bought because I believed it was better for my son long term. The hassle of being without the car for a weekend (which could've been a week if I hadn't paid to remount old tires) and the replacements arriving and mounted the day before his departure for college was an epic hassle and stressful. We were without the car for the weekend because the damaged tires were mounted and they were not discovered as flat until the shop was about to close. I had paid for the service and we were supposed to pick it up on our way back from an appointment. Shop was closed all weekend. So we were without the car from Thursday night when we dropped it until Monday afternoon. read more

I ordered 2 tires with a tread of 8/32" and received tires that were 6/32" and 8/32". They had SLASHES on the treads and I sent the photos to the company. They told me to go to a tire repair shop and get it fixed. Then send in the receipt. I did so, and stayed on the line to verify they received the receipt. I was told they would send me a check for the repair cost. They never sent the check. I called back after a few months, and United Tires customer service agent in somewhat broken English assured me they never received the repair receipt. They refused to review the audio call with me and the company confirming they previously received the receipt. Then they claimed on the call that the calls are deleted after 60 days. Thus far I have spent approximately 4-5 hours on this issue and the company refuses to help. I tried to file a complaint, but no supervisor was avail to file the complaint. read more
