Being a short woman doing my own errands to fix my car, there's a lot of stereotypes typically…read morethrown around when I walk into any autozone looking for a part. I've had really bad customer service experiences with other stores nearby so I thought I should give this location a try. Immediately when I walk in I see it's not busy. Three employees were talking amongst themselves but once they saw me all asked to provide assistance. Let me tell you how awkward and loud it got... It didn't. The men were very respectful when I declined for help and waited at their respective posts. So my problem today was that my AC unit wasn't blowing any cold air. Typical me just assumed I needed AC/coolant liquid. I walk up to the cashier with a gallon's worth and really inquire on my problem. He asks to take a look at my car, which is what happened, and he recommended to recharge my AC thingy, (there goes my knowledge). I had NO idea what that was and was completely blown away by this technique I've never heard of. He walked me through the procedure, and found what appropriate sized canister was best. Completely professional. As I'm purchasing the product, the store manager comes up to ask me on my prior knowledge of this. I tell him I don't know anything, he tells me all the tips & tricks & the do's & do not's.. I was completely frozen in fear and anxiety. Luckily, he was nice enough to even do the WHOLE recharging procedure outside with me in today's heat. We stood outside for 15-20 minutes just periodically checking the AC vents in my car to feel if any effort amounted to anything. I was concerned that I needed to replace something or fix another thing. The manager kept reassuring me that as long as a wheel was running I should be fine. Long story short, I got what I needed: a lesson & a very cold car. I give huge props to the gentlemen inside as well as Andres, the store manager on duty. His customer service etiquette really changed my perspective on the Autozone locations here.

My smart key needed a battery replaced and the staff member stated that he might break it. He claimed that the small screw was for holding the motherboard and didn't need removal. He had the keys to my home and handed me back the single key. When I asked about my keys, he took a couple minutes to locate them. Didn't appreciate his sense of humor, nothing funny about getting locked outside in the cold weather. I purchased a battery from Walgreens that didn't appear to work. I noted the polarity when removing the battery. Next day I went to Honda. Honda informed me that the battery had been installed incorrectly. They indicted that the screw should have been removed rather than stripped. Well he did warn me that he might break it. Wish he would have mentioned putting the battery back in the wrong way.
