I wanted treatment on both my foot and my lower back, so I paid an additional $49 for the second body part, bringing my total to about $100. I did feel some relief from the treatment. During my first visit, the doctor explained that if I wanted to continue with chiropractic adjustments outside of a treatment plan, the cost would be $250 per session. I explained that I could not commit to a treatment plan without first discussing it with my husband. I was told I should return in about a week for continued treatment, so I scheduled my follow-up appointment. When I came back for my second visit, the doctor presented me with a treatment plan that included a package of $2,500 for eight sessions. I explained that I needed time to consider that option. What was disappointing was that, right before my second shockwave therapy session was about to begin, I was informed that the price had now doubled because the first visit was only an introductory special. This was not communicated when I scheduled the appointment or when I arrived. I was under the impression that the pricing I paid during my first visit would be the cost going forward, especially since I was receiving treatment on two body areas. No new X-rays were being performed, and the treatment itself had not changed, so I was surprised by such a significant price increase with no prior notice. While I did experience some relief from the treatment, I felt the pricing was not transparent and that the ongoing costs were not realistic for the average self-pay patient. Paying $200 for shockwave therapy and $250 for adjustments would make continued care financially unrealistic for many people. Patients deserve clear pricing upfront so they can make informed decisions about their healthcare. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this office.

Dr. Scott and his staff, Kassie, and Alex are always very friendly, accommodating, and helpful to anything that you may need. Every visit I have had has been completely professional and always followed the Covid rules for safety in this sensitive time. Not only do they work together as a team to make sure that you get the care that you need specifically for your body, but they also make you feel comfortable financially with the treatment that you receive. It is nice to see that a chiropractor cares more about your health and the way that you feel as opposed to what you can pay. At this time where many people are unemployed and their incomes are reduced, Dr. Scott is more than accommodating to help work with you and figure out a plan that is best for you and your financial situation. The care that I have received for my neck and my back has been exceptional and I will continue get my treatment at this office for as long as I can until my situation with my neck and shoulder is resolved. I was in so much pain from a work-related injury that I couldn't move my head or even sit up on my own. I had to prop my entire torso and head up on our couch just so I could stop some of the pain. (It hurt so much I was afraid to move because I thought I could become paralyzed. I'd had some neck and back issues before, but NOTHING like this.) Thank goodness I heard of Dr. Benjamin right when I needed a chiropractor. They were able to get me in the next day. At my first visit with Dr. Benjamin, I couldn't even hold the clipboard to fill out the standard paperwork, but he took me in and helped me anyway. I felt a reduction in pain during the first visit, and I was able to move my head a little afterward. He took such good care of me for the first few visits before I was able to go and get X-rays taken, and I feel that speaks volumes about his abilities as a chiropractor. He was able to go in "blind" and figure out what I needed for my muscles and my spine, and I most definitely felt and saw improvement at every visit - and I still do.
