We have been part of the UDA Family for 18 years. The studio has been a second home to our daughters. Andrea and Tony provide a place where they not only grew as dancers, but as confident, disciplined and outstanding young women! They pushed our kids out of their comfort zone and gave them a space to be themselves while encouraging them to be their best! They now have a drive and work ethic that will make them better in their grown up lives! Andrea and Tony have become part of our family. No matter what our girls needed they were there for them. They treat our girls as if they are one of their own children. When Covid happened they worked hard to make sure our kids could dance virtually. When hurricane Ian destroyed our studio they spent countless hours finding a new home for our kids so they could feel a sense of normalcy for the kids to continue to dance. I was a dancer at Universal for 15+ years and my experience was nothing short of full filling, supportive, and life changing. The artistic director and every staff member pours into all students equally, pushing them to be the best they can be. The choreography given to each dancer is fit to their own strengths and abilities while still giving each dancer a challenge and room for growth. UDA was my second home my entire childhood and even as an alumni, it still is. I'm currently pursuing my dream now due to the unwavering support and help from the UDA staff. They create a safe space for each and every dancer to be themselves and work hard while still having fun and enjoying it. My daughter began dancing at Universal when she was just 4 years old. Now at 24, after 20 years, Universal is still her dance home. Andrea (artistic director) has been one of the most influential mentors in my daughter's life not just as a dance teacher, but as a guide, a second mom, and a constant source of support.
