Avoid this place at all costs! If I could give it zero stars I would! Took my brand new 2022 Chevy Silverado here to get a wash. It had never been in a cash wash before. To start , the person putting my truck into the wash left the rear passenger door open when driving into the car wash. The car door hit a large cone with spray bottles hanging on the top and it's impact slammed the door shut. Next, the workmanship of 'the works' was terrible, they didn't vacuum well, glass was horribly done even left the tape from the receipt on the glass that they "cleaned". Took the truck back home to clean the glass. I found a giant crease across the full roof of my truck with scratches in the paint down to the metal. (Pictures in the review) I tried to go about it the right way in giving the owner a chance to make it right before posting anything publicly. He was unwilling to do anything, and said it wasn't his responsibility. This is not how you run a business and he does not have his customers interest in mind. Take your business elsewhere!

I would only go there for an outside car wash, if you pay $39.99 for the "ultimate" car wash, they just clean the dashboard which I could've done. I brought it to the attention of the gentleman over the counter he explained that sand is hard to deal with and if I wanted a better job I could pay $200 at a detail shop (he did mention it politely) and had the guys pull it back around. So my car still looked poor even after the second vacuum, I would recommend to go just for an outside wash.

Don't use this car wash unless you are okay with your car being damaged in the "cleaning" process I took my car in last week for a car wash. I don't normally use non touchless car washes...as I've known them to do damages to cars But I took the risk on University Car Wash. In my time my car was being washed I noticed 90% of the employees were getting high ripping "THC DAB OIL PENS" they're discreet they look like E-cigarettes The normal person wouldn't know the employees are getting high They were getting high in customers cars while cleaning them But, who really cares if they're getting high I just wanted a clean car After getting my car back it was pretty clean. The vacuum job wasn't the best and I even paid extra to have the trunk vacuumed Though what really earned this one star review is after getting the car back I noticed the entire trunk was scratched and deeply scratched off the paint in some areas by the "friction car wash" & keep in mind this isn't a Honda or a Toyota this is a new Mercedes so I was very upset I returned to University Car Wash and spoke to Assistant Manager Seth He took some pictures for his owner Chad I was told to follow up in 48 hours if I hadn't heard from Chad which I did. It wasn't until a week later Chad finally called Chad was trying to beat around the bush saying the damage can't be proven But the car was freshly out of body shop so I have documented images of the cars status. PERFECTLY CLEAN NO SCRATCHES ANYWHERE.... Chad wanted to deny responsibility. Due to this I will be taking Legal Action as well as making sure I do my part to warn and kill the lifeline of his business... Once again if you want a car wash, this is not the place to go unless you want to be "screwed" with no lube"

Second Visit: This place is the worst! I went the first time and they did an okay job so I thought I would give them another shot. I paid for the $35 ultimate car wash and they did a horrible job. They only wiped my interior with a rag, (the same one they used to dry the car), even though is says that they use a spray form cleaner. They didn't wipe the inside of my doors at all and they didn't vacuum my seats or trunk which is suppose to be included nor did they give me my air freshener. I went and spoke to the manager because the people cleaning the cars really didn't care about doing a good job. I wasn't expecting a complete flawless detail, I did however, expect them to do a good job. I will not be going here again.

I paid $30 for this!!! On all 4 sides!!! Never again!

LIED ABOUT PRICES AND SERVICE. STAY AWAY!! They tell you $27 for the complete inside and out clean. When the car went through the wash they said that's it and that it's an additional $24 to get cleaned inside. But it says it on the f-cking sign. Contacting the Better Business Bureau today. ModWash is a much much better option read more

Omg I went to the car wash yesterday and I absolutely hate it now. They have changed the service completely. I paid 27$ just to drive thru myself and no interior cleaning. You have to vacuum yourself or if you want them to do it you have to pay 10 $ . When the wash is done they will dry your car off but they did a terrible job doing that. It was a waste of time and money. I vacuum my car myself because I only had 1 Matt that needed cleaning. I will never go there again. Why they went from giving good service to the service sucks. I hate those kinds of car washes. I will pay someone to wash my car from now on. It was like a ghost town when I went there yesterday before cars would be lined up to the road. This used to be the best car wash. But ever since they started selling monthly wash memberships, it's nearly impossible to get your car washed without waiting an hour. It's so slow and their excellent attention to detail doesn't work in a membership type setup. It's a real shame bc they do such a nice job. read more

well that's an hour I'll never get back. While I sat in line today I had enough time to watch the employees do everything but work. I had enough time to read reviews of University Car Wash to know that i Didn't need their services. Our line barely moved while the other line was getting the lion share of the attention. Once I was in a place to pull out the back of the business I did so but not after wasting an hour before I could do so. If I had stayed in the inside line I would have been next for service. I'm thankful though that I had the option to leave this alone. read more

You better take a day off if you go here to get your car washed. It literally took an hour from the time I entered the line until I left today, a Thursday afternoon at around 2pm. I gave the manager some feedback about that and he told me that an hour seems right. Seriously? I suggested that he think about my feedback. The process is very inefficient and could easily be sped up with proper management. The employees on both ends of the line do a lot of standing around, seemingly avoiding work. There is a new carwash being built in Fruitland which will soon get my business. Inside Out Car Care will get my detail business. read more

december 9th i spoke to the general mananger rob & told him i had ordered a gift certificate on line & i had not received notification of the transaction. rob told me he would get back to be today! as of yet 8:30 pm (the car wash is closed) i have not received notification or anything from (the general manager) i am still waiting to hear from you rob & when i do i will take this post down! in the meantime do i trust a company like this with a gift certificate to honor for a christmas present? update! university car wash has charged my credit card! still nothing from rob nor have i received a gift card or notification! read more

could of cleaned my car better myself for less then $40. black smudgy crud on front bumper mind you they ran it thru twice cause they left caked up mud in wheel wells. also dirt still on bottom of door as well as dirt still on back bumper by wheel. still grass in back floor that wasn't vaccumed good. I called and all the man could say is sorry. I won't return nor will I ever recommend them to anyone they definitely have gone down hill. now to spend more money to clean it myself. I hope they enjoy that $40 for the unsatisfactory job they did. read more

Got the "ultimate wash" which includes the works down to trunk vacuumed but doesn't get your mats washed... Kinda expensive to still come back to dirty mats and plus all the trash I collected in a pile for them to toss was still there. read more

Sad excuse for a car wash. Outside not clean Wheels not clean. Inside not clean. Windows streaked. Waste of money. Had to clean car when I came home. Will never return and will be sure to let everyone know the lack of quality at this business. Maybe if the employees gave the customers the same concentration as their cell phones, the service would improve. read more

15 May 2019 I stopped at University Car Wash ( which I have many many times and until now thought they always did a good job). But on this day the wash completely broke my back windshield wiper. Information was given to the young man working the counter and he took a picture but really had kind of who cares attitude but said he would give the information to the owner. Well today is 21 Jun 2019 and never a response from the owner. The repair cost me $ 132.15 ! I would like to show picture but cannot get a copy here. read more

Very poor job!! Paid for ultimate and got pathetic!! Car had to be revacuumed and recleaned. Workers who could care less. Did not lift wipers to clean glass. Did not clean tires. Did not wipe down cup holders. I ended up grabbing a rag and wiping down myself because employees walked away. Can't believe I paid 34.99 for this wash. Got a 4.99 effort read more

Very disappointed with today's service. I took our dirty truck that clearly had dirt inside and out. Upon arriving, they were moving extremely slow, one lane open, and a line. The workers showed they did not care about their job at all including one doing all the work while 3 others stood there and watched. I was on a time limit to get back to work. The truck still had dirt on the mats, on the side of the truck, on the glovebox and on the seats. The dirt was not this bad and I watched them continuously wipe down the interior (thinking the dirt would be gone) but it looks like it was just smeared. I have come here multiple times and never experienced the service this bad. This will be if not my last time going there. read more

This company is so unprofessional. The damaged my 2010 Mercedes Benz c-300. The detailer broke the driver's side door handle trying to get out of the vehicle. The owner was very nasty, rude, and showed for no integrity, as he asked me to lie to my insurance agency to get them to fix it without involving him. I spent $470 repairing the handle. So I am suing the business, and the owner. read more

A few years back I took my 50th anniversary Corvette here and they did a great job. Took my wife's Honda Accord there yesterday and it came out sparkling clean inside and out. My cost was $16.95 and I gave a $3 tip. I didn't see anyone getting high; the place was way too busy for that. Highly recommended. read more

I decided to spend the extra money and get the ultimate car wash, because it included the trunk vacuumed. My car is a small SUV with a hatchback. The cost was $30.00 but I wanted the back vacuumed. I gave the guy a $5.00 tip for a total of a $35.00 car wash. When I got home, the back of my car had not been vacuumed at all. When I called, I was told they only vacuum the back if you ask them to! IT IS PRINTED ON THE WASH DESCRIPTION THAT THE TRUNK/BACK OF CARS WILL BE VACUUMED WITH THE ULTIMATE WASH! At the very very least, if that is their policy it should be printed on the wash sign. OR....HERE'S AN IDEA....IF SOMEONE PAYS FOR AN ULTIMATE WASH....ASK THEM IF THEY WANT THE REAR VACUUMED!!! $35.00!!! Horrible business practice. CHAD HILL you should be aware of this! read more

Very disappointed. Been going there since I moved to Salisbury, no problems until today. They need a competitor. I went today. First problem, they punched in a different wash than I asked for. Then they weren't sure how to fix that. Secondly they informed me that they charge extra for large SUV's. Makes sense but I don't have a large SUV. I don't have a large SUV. I have a KIA Soul. Then the manager came out and told me they charge more across the bridge in PG County. Relevance? Haven't figured that one out. Lastly, the manager told me that the owner was tired of giving the vacuum service for free on any hatchbacks because they had to vacuum the trunk. He said the price was posted on sign. I went back and it is. It's in small print and you really have to look. The manager was rude and the staff must be new because they're not careful about punching in the requested car wash package and there is a significant price difference. Very disappointed. Will not return. I went to support local businesses but not going back. No professionalism there. Sounds like the owner has gotten greedy. read more

There are numerous times during the posted hours, that are now shorter than they used to be, that you pull up and you can't get a car wash because it appears nobody is working. One day I decided to wait, which was like 10 minutes and magically, someone popped out of the little closet area in the bay doing whatever that one man and younger boy were doing in there. And then the wash that I got was not the one I paid for because there's a sheen that is left for the one that I paid for and it was not there. Old users don't have access to online because your account was set up at the store when it opened and they haven't figured out how to make that work. When I called in because I don't have access to the online, decided at this point, I'm just gonna cancel. You don't have the rug cleaner that was there when it originally opened and then brought back for like a week or two and then disappeared again. And no big deal that people quit/cancel their membership. They didn't even try to correct the issue. They were like oh it's fine that we were doing repairs in there all week. That's why you couldn't get a car wash that you pay for. Not a care in the world so I don't care and I canceled.

Worst customer service! Should not be in business and has no idea how to take care of a car. My friend came here and his car was damaged. Here is his story. Don't use this car wash unless you are okay with your car being damaged in the "cleaning" process I took my car in last week for a car wash. I don't normally use non touchless car washes...as I've known them to do damages to cars But I took the risk on University Car Wash. In my time my car was being washed I noticed 90% of the employees were getting high ripping "THC DAB OIL PENS" they're discreet they look like E-cigarettes The normal person wouldn't know the employees are getting high They were getting high in customers cars while cleaning them But, who really cares if they're getting high I just wanted a clean car After getting my car back it was pretty clean. The vacuum job wasn't the best and I even paid extra to have the trunk vacuumed Though what really earned this one star review is after getting the car back I noticed the entire trunk was scratched and deeply scratched off the paint in some areas by the "friction car wash" & keep in mind this isn't a Honda or a Toyota this is a new Mercedes so I was very upset I returned to University Car Wash and spoke to Assistant Manager Seth He took some pictures for his owner Chad I was told to follow up in 48 hours if I hadn't heard from Chad which I did. It wasn't until a week later Chad finally called Chad was trying to beat around the bush saying the damage can't be proven But the car was freshly out of body shop so I have documented images of the cars status. PERFECTLY CLEAN NO SCRATCHES ANYWHERE.... Chad wanted to deny responsibility. Due to this I will be taking Legal Action as well as making sure I do my part to warn and kill the lifeline of his business... Once again if you want a car wash, this is not the place to go unless you want to be "f*cked" with no lube read more
