The medical assistant who brought us back was not very welcoming and barely smiled or interacted with my children, which made the visit feel impersonal. When the provider entered the room, she did not introduce herself. The examination felt rushed. She had all three of my children sit on the exam table and performed very brief ear,nose, mouth and abdominal exams while they remained seated. The visit felt more like checking boxes than performing a careful assessment. I was also concerned about infection control. The otoscope was used to examine multiple children without changing the disposable ear speculum between them, which raised concerns for me. As a registered nurse, I understand that clinic workflows differ from hospital practice, but communication, professionalism, and appropriate infection-control measures should always be priorities. I hope this feedback helps improve the experience for future families.

We were greeted by Yadira at the front desk who had the sweetest smile, even my 2 year old son who is pretty shy warmed up to her quickly. Our wait time in the waiting room was probably less than 2 minutes. When you enter the door to go to your room, you're welcomed by this beautiful carousel horse. We were taken into our designated room which the doors were color coded. I love that idea especially for kids to learn and know their colors. The medical assistant Normie was very kind and caring. She was empathetic when she saw how sick my daughter was feeling. She had done a nasal swab to test for flu and Covid and was very gentle with her. Dr. Garcia was very kind and thorough with his exam. He explained everything clearly and answered all of my questions in a manner that I can easily understand. He spent a good amount of time with us which made our visit feel so much better. Most doctors make you feel rushed but he didn't make us feel that way at all. I highly recommend Dr. Garcia to anyone looking for a pediatrician. He's a great doctor that's knowledgeable and his office staff is amazing.

Some NP's pay attention and give a great level of care, some...you're just another name on the list. There is no longer a sick area waiting room. You have newborns and infants with no immune system in the same area as sick children. It takes me 6 or 7 phone calls to get my daughters monthly prescription refilled. I have to practically beg. She runs out every month and we're stuck waiting, at minimum, weeks in between fills because for whatever reason...they won't send her refill in! This alone has made me decide we will probably be switching to another pediatrician. Referrals take months. Paperwork is never ready in a timely manner. Everything but scheduling visits is such a headache and frustrating. Unfortunately since we've been patients here, the attention to detail, urgency, and patient care has only gotten worse year after year. For new parents, I would avoid.
