These apartments are very good. While they don't have limitless amenities like some other complexes, they are also not incredibly expensive. The process of leasing the apartment was easy. I did most of it over the phone and through email, and the day of move-in the process took less than 10 minutes. Once in the apartment, everything was in good condition. The cable worked, a/c worked, electricity and water worked, so I was happy. If you are an ASU student, this complex is perfect. From my apartment, I am about 5 minutes walking to the gym and 10 minutes walk to most of my classes. I have had no problems while here due to management or facilities. The pool is kept clean, and they even provide free cookies every day. So, if you are an ASU student with or without a car looking for a comfortable apartment near school without spending over $1,000/month just for a studio, check this place out. read more

They literally stole my pink couch from my patio today and didn't offer any reimbursement, notice, nothing. They literally stole from me and did not care. They said that a past tenant from a building that I DON'T live in CLAIMED it was their couch so they walked over to MY building and took MY couch. I'm contemplating making a police report. When I called and asked Kathy, she laughed and didn't have any good answers notes did she call me back. I was followed up with a weak email that I will be posting. Do not rent here. This place was my first apartment at college so i wasnt expecting much, however they do not care about you. All they want is your money. When they gave me a tour all they showed me was the nicer apartments by the leasing office they they keep in great shape. The washing machines and dryers are ALWAYS broken and the rooms are disgusting. The pools (other than the main one by the leasing office) are in terrible shape and always dirty. Also everything in the gym is always broken. Parking here is a joke. There were always homeless people walking around the cars and people walking through the parking lot to cut across. My boyfriends car got broken into and when I called the office they did not do one thing about it or follow up with me. My car also got hit in this parking lot and when I went to go ask for the footage only one of the cameras worked and it didn't even face the lot. To get in touch with them after my car got hit was also a nightmare. I reached out multiple times and so did my dad before they finally got back to me and seemed to barley care. I went to the office to review the footage and to my luck, none of the footage would load. I was told that they me an email me the footage and after that I didn't hear a single thing back from them and still haven't. The water also get shut off a lot here. There was a two day period where I had no running water in my apartment. They also have some issues with power. Water and power has gone out multiple times within the two years I was living there (yes all my bills were paid). I lived at the University Square apartments and my window has been broken from someone playing basketball outside. The office proceeded to charge me on my next months rent, even tho the people who broke it were some guys that don't even live there that hopped the fence to play basketball. Overall, I cannot recommend this place LESS. Do not let them take your money and take advantage of you. Find somewhere safer!!! read more

If I could give a zero I would. My kids haven't even been in 1 week and pure chaos. Communication between office/maintenance is horrible. I have to keep calling to get information. AC not working and they give 1 portable AC for a 2 bedroom apt. How are they supposed to sleep in their bedrooms when temperature is 91 degrees in there? Hot water not working and have to wait a day to get plumber in. They turned off water and didn't say anything. Are they really supposed to wait another day with no water and no AC. Unacceptable living conditions. Not to mention lost packages and someone delivered our package to wrong apt even though they say that never happens. What is going on? read more

No oven for 8 months, which included the holidays--Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter. When I tried to deduct a reasonable amount according to a Realtor I use, the management threatened me with legal notice and fees. Prior to trying to make them be fair, I paid all my rent on time or early. They will not be fair. I tried to call and email when I received the threatening text--no one responded. Maintenance is inexperienced. They only repair half of what you submit for repair; if you need something fixed, you better be handy. Minor fixes are a challenge to them. NOT KIDDING. I had to install working fluorescent bulbs because they inserted them incorrectly so they didn't work until I readjusted. When they put them in wrong, they hit my stove, turned on the burners (I was not there for a few days), and when I returned, my stove was still on!! Danger, danger. If the place caught on fire, I wonder who would be liable. If you have major issues that require police action or the fire department, you will have to call those agencies on your own because it will not be taken care of by the management, even though the management can be fined for events that require police and fire departments due to residents failing to follow safety ordinances. This happened SEVERAL times when I was there. When I called the police, many more times than once, it resulted in an arrest of a person whom they considered dangerous enough to put in jail; when I called the fire department, more than once, ordinances were maintained by the city personnel. Management will not get back to you, or tell you they need to speak to the owner first, then never speak to the owner, nor return your call/text. If someone finds them helpful, it's an anomaly. Finally, if you wish to break your lease early and have someone sublet, when the potential sublessee calls management (you must go through them), they will try to put them in an empty apartment so they can get double the $$--from the new sublessee and from you, since you are on contract and will have to pay them anyway, unless you get that sublessee into YOUR apartment. In my case, I went through my department at ASU, and several students told me that they had to INSIST on my apartment to the management. Management wanted to place them elsewhere (a vacant apartment). After dealing with management, no one wanted to sublet. I liked my apartment well enough, but there were other issues. You cannot get deliveries. Your items WILL BE STOLEN. I ended up having my orders sent elsewhere. An inconvenience. Think twice, and then think again before renting from University Point. They will be very nice BEFORE you sign the lease, but you will be invisible AFTER. NOTE: Although they show a good review first, it was written in 2015. Good reviews are all 7 to 8 years old. Oh boy I have a lot to say about this apartment complex. Specifically, the Cortez Palms location. The good: Price. That's it. And it's not even great. This complex is one of the cheapest you will find (for obvious reasons), but is extremely overpriced for what is offered. More on that later. The bad: Since living here, I've had to call the cops three times for safety concerns. Roaches and bugs are large and persistent. There are constantly homeless people going through the dumpster (when it isn't on fire). Extremely outdated - no dishwasher, tub was painted over with interior paint (and was still wet on my move in day) and has since chipped and stained, front door and window aren't sealed and don't close properly so air/dirt/water gets in through the cracks, AC unit filter probably hasn't been changed since its installation. Community laundry rooms are a disaster. Half of the machines don't work and when they do, they ruin clothing items. Residents are disrespectful of others' property and will take loads out of the dryer and throw them on the counter not even 10 minutes after the cycle is complete. The gate to get in the complex is open half the time and broken the other half. Needless to say, I can't wait to move out. This place has caused me nothing but stress and problems and I absolutely would not recommend it to anyone. read more

I lived here for one year and it wasn't too bad. Definitely expensive for what you get but if you really need a place to live it's not the worst. If you live in the first building/complex, the one with the leasing office, there won't be any bugs because that is the only one they take care of. I only found one spider the whole time living there. Laundry machines were constantly breaking and power and water would go out randomly with almost no warning. Oven barely worked. And I had multiple issues with my fob to open the gates and had to fight to get a new one for a couple months. read more

This place is the epitome of IF I COULD GIVE 0 STARS I WOULD and its been years since I lived here and I still have nightmares of the long 12 month lease me and my roommates experienced... It all started with the mistake of thinking this would be acceptable for myself... I am disappointed and I don't think I will ever forgive myself! Upon moving in we were promised to clean floor and no bugs. That was the first lie we were told because the first day of move in as we open the door we were greeted with a pile of dust, leaves and tiny beetles. Trying to make the best of the situation because we were broke college students (the prey they feed on) thought that living next to The Vertex and El Paisano's would be a benefit... DO NOT get me started on The Vertex, a neighbored complex! El P's was cool for the overpriced snacks and drinks but was a hangout for the zombies and homeless of Tempe. I will never forget the time I was craving some candy and went to El P's, but on the way there right outside Cortez Palms gates were a gang of homeless bums laying in the grass drinking and hanging around. My point is there is no security around the complex to tell these loiterers to leave. The gate is easy to open so don't even think you are protected. I've seen people jump the gate and I've had things come up missing in the EXPENSIVE laundromat AND things inside my apartment go missing without a trace surprisingly close after maintenance would do check ups. The pools are never cleaned and emit a green glow without there being any pool lights. It felt like my roommates and I were going against the world when trying to get something fixed inside... like the MOLDING problem we've had since move in and commented about plenty of times but they failed to act on those requests until our pipes BUSTED inside the walls and water started to leak out onto the floors of the kitchen, living room, two of the three bedrooms and the hallways. This was the biggest flood we encountered in our stay (in total we had about 8, and that is not an exaggeration). When we moved in we ran into a problem that whenever someone took a shower my bedroom would flood, because who doesn't want water ruining boxes of personal items. You share the apartment with bugs. There is no pesticide available to man to exterminate the bugs that call University Pointe home. We would find huge bugs crawling around the walls, hiding in the kitchen, or our worst nightmare... flying around! The management try to seem like they are for you but they are really con artist and thieves in disguise. By the time of move out we had owed them so much money it didn't even make sense. Come to find out they finessed us into paying for what seemed on paper an entire renovation of the apartment unit. The place looks like shit and I can only imagine the amount of "renovating" that went into place when they sent us into collections without telling us. The area is also terrible as I previously mentioned you are swarmed with homeless and druggie zombies but you also have the occasional gun shots which is surprising since we are so close to campus. I hate this place and wish to see the demolishing of those buildings and see everyone lose their jobs because they simply do not give a damn about it anyways. I would give this place -5 stars if I could. These apartments are redone motel rooms. Our roof leaks every time it rains and we tell maintenance every single time and it's still not fixed. Maintenance never comes, all they do is blow leaves at 6 am and don't ever fix anything. The floor is laminate and it's peeling up all over our apt. There's a bug problem as well. We called to get our apt sprayed for bugs and they never showed up. The office is such a pain to deal with we don't even bother reminding them because it takes them 12 times to do anything and it's not even worth it. The community washing machines and dryers are almost always broken. At any given time only 2/5 of the machines are working and you always have to guess. The office is unorganized and will never follow through with anything. Packages are left unattended in a back room and literally anyone can come in and take them. We are always charged fees that we shouldn't have on our account. It happens every month when we have to pay rent and we have to call every month to get it taken care of. You think they would be more organized. These apts are cheapish and right across from campus. You get what you pay for, cheap. Live 2 miles away from campus and drive or take a bus to ASU campus. The location doesn't make up for anything. Such a joke. read more

Giving this place a 1 star review is being generous. University Pointe is a ROACH MOTEL that needs to be shut down. It is disgusting. No matter how clean you are, you will see bugs scatter every time you enter a room. When we moved in, the girl in the front office said they had an exterminator come spray apartments every Friday and if we ever wanted our unit sprayed just to let them know. We called and wanted to be sprayed about 6 months ago, and this was never done. The walls and foundation of this place are literally crumbling. It will be more beneficial to pay a couple hundred more dollars to live in the apartments across the street. The model apartments are so deceiving to how the apartments actually are. Fraudulent Business Practices I was considering signing a lease with this company (University Pointe) but decided against it. Fast-forward around 40 days and they send a check in the mail charging me for 3 months rent. I didn't sign a lease, all I did was fill out an application. I confirmed via email that I was not interested in signing a lease and now they are fraudulently charging me for breaking a lease I never signed. DON'T do business with this company. They are committing fraud and extortion of college students. And yes I am taking them to court for criminal activity, along with bringing this matter up with the nearby college ASU. We are months into a pandemic and they fraudulently want to extort over 5k from a college student? Do business with this company at your own risk, but I strongly advise against it. read more

I lived at University Pointe for 2 years while at ASU. I'm from IL, so I had no car down here and needed somewhere close but not thousands of dollars a month. I like this apartment complex! The units I stayed in were dated for sure, but the office staff was great for me both years. I'm not sure why there are lots of complaints about them. Maybe they have a new set of staff now? The one thing I would say is the lack of security. It is easy for people to get in and out even though they have gates. The apt doors open to the outside, so you're missing that kind of security. My boyfriend and I once saw a homeless guy rooting through the trash which wasn't too great, lol. I thought the maintenance was good! Almost all of my issues were fixed within a day! However, I've had issues with The floor of my bathtub, and they didn't fix it when they came in. There wasn't any follow up either. This was the only instance where I thought the office staff lacked a proper follow-up. The move in and move out process is super simple! I loved that about them. And they always have cookies in the leasing office :) the pool at the main UP campus is also very nice! The gym is tiny, I would suggest working out on campus if you're not very lazy, lol. Overall, this is a great property. I would recommend if you're someone like me, needing somewhere close to campus that won't break the bank too much. read more

O NOT RENT AN APARTMENT AT UNIVERSITY POINTE / RIVIERA PALMS! 1. They are hiding fees. Initially, they will tell you that the rent costs $X. Then they will start introducing more and more new fees like - cleaning fee, convenience fee, insurance fee, transaction fee, - and tons of more hidden fees that I don't even remember. They are predators! 2. If the AC gets broken, they will make you wait for a week until someone comes and fixes it. The apartment will be uninhabitable because its above 100 or even 110 degrees outside. However, they will not offer you hotel accommodation during that time or any compensation. 3. Everything is your fault and you have to pay for everything, even minor mistakes or errors (like fire alarm battery stopped working, or the keys got broken, etc.). However, they are never responsible for anything. 4. The pool at Riviera Palms is often dirty. 5. They will (unfortunately successfully) try to rip you off by not giving you back your deposit. In my case, they told me that they had miscalculated the rent fee initially and I got charged an additional $119 from my deposit. I was also charged $207 because they bring shitty quality furniture and when, in my case, a sofa got damaged by natural wear (I was simply sitting on it and it got ripped) you are charged more than the whole furniture piece would actually cost. 6. Full of bugs and roaches! Their pest control does not help! read more

THIS PLACE IS NOT WORTH IT!! What you see, is not what you get... They are good at fooling you. I lived there for a year 2014-2015, I lived in one of there studio apartments. At first I thought it was very cute, just enough room for a college student. everything was going well until my car got broken into twice and both times the cameras were supposedly broken. My boyfriend also had his car broken into another time and the office said the same thing. They would not help me. The girls in the office are rude and clique, except for kimiko. She is really sweet. There is no ventilation in the apartment and my apartment had carpet, doesn't matter how many times I cleaned the carpet dirt always piled up and I eventually became allergic to my carpet. On top of all my bad luck at that apartment, my apartment became invested with bed bugs.Apparently it's very common at that complex. Office never seemed to care when I would call them. Always assumed I was wrong and gave me a hard time. One thing I do miss are my neighbors I met while there, other than that I'm so glad I got out of there. read more

They gave us short notice that they were redoing the parking lots and would tow cars, but at that point many students had gone home for a few weeks for vacation. It is also infested with cockroaches and it's impossible to get rid of them. They would take forever to respond to maintenance requests. I'm so glad I no longer live here. read more

University Pointe is honestly the worst apartment complex in the Tempe area. If you are about to go to ASU, do not choose these apartments. The only good thing about them is the location, and that is the only reason some people actually live in them. The people in the office are terrible to deal with. They will tell you all sorts of different deals and promotions and then later tell you they never said that. Every time I go in there I get a weird look and they act like I'm lying to them or something. This place also over charges by a ton! The carpets are disgusting and the rooms are extremely small. This place doesn't need renovations, the whole place needs to be torn down. My friend's car also got hit and they told us the "cameras were broken" at the time. They also have people blow leaves at 7 IN THE MORNING almost every day right outside your door! I will never understand why these people operate such an apartment complex so terribly! Oh and do not let me forget the fact that I have found tons of crickets in my apartment! I have also seen them when I go to other University Pointe rooms in the area!!! I lived a year at University Pointe 1.Noise level is horrible. Because of how close it is to campus, you hear students loud outside every other night. The walls to the apartments are thin (e.g. kitchen walls) that I constantly heard neighbors arguing and had to call the cops a couple of times. 2. Sometimes the maintenance request does not work online. I have waited a few days and did not hear anything but so I had to call the office to place another request. 3. the pool by my apartment was rarely ever cleaned. 4. The leaf blower workers always came at 8am in the morning. Making unnecessary noise. 5. The apartment gym is good. always available and clean. 6. Apartment complex is very close to ASU campus. 7. When I moved out, the apartment complex lost my apartment keys because they did not document on their end that I returned my keys and I got a $30 charge for 3 keys that I returned. read more

What I like about this place: I've been stay here for 9 months. I like the location. It is very close to ASU, Tempe campus. The staffs in the office are nice. If there is something in my apt broken, they will send somebody to fix it up very fast. I told the office in the morning about my bath tub didn't drain. In the afternoon, I got it fix. The fitness room and swimming pool is nice. What I don't like about this place: 1: Noisy neighbors from the room next door and the room upstairs. 2: The staff here start working VERY EARLY. There is a NOISY MACHINE for cleaning the floor. They clean the pavement in super early morning, around 7-7:30am. And that woke me up. Thanks for making me a good student, never late for class, but I need to sleep though. read more

PAY ATTENTION TO THE REVIEWS! This place is a god awful place to live in! There are cockroaches everywhere!!! They even came into my bed at night while I slept! The air conditioner is terrible! There is absolutely no counter space to cook on or counter space in the bathroom! You can hear everything going on outside! You can literally punch a window and break into someone's apartment very easily! A homeless person stole my bike! The model apartment they show you is far beyond what you'll actually get. This place really sucks. Living here has honestly traumatized me. My roommate and I moved in and the first thing we noticed was that the floors were scuffed and completely disgusting. The floors vinyl but never got finished, so they're super delicate and just nasty. No amount of cleaning will ever fix these floors. All of the dirt and nastiness from around the place was just painted over, and specs of paint can be found everywhere. This could all be overlooked if it weren't for the ROACHES. This place is honestly so gross. There are huge holes in the walls where ventilation comes through, and these holes connect the walls of every apartment. Roaches can just crawl to any apartment they want. I spray with the stuff that's supposed to last a year every couple weeks and I have traps and nothing helps. No matter how clean you are or how much you spray. This place is infested. So only live here if you want black feet and little cockroach friends. Also it's expensive for how disgusting it is. Not to mention the fact that they let my neighbor have 3 big dogs in a STUDIO. These dogs bark and howl at all times of the day, but because of the high turnover, they don't care. They know people will come and go every year here, so don't bother making any complaints or expecting any change. Only good part is that it's super close to ASU and they keep the outside of it clean. The apartments in the same complex as the office are kept up/renovated and look much nicer, but every other complex owned by UP looks like crap. read more

I've lived here for over a year now and renewed my lease for another full year. I live in the 1 Bed fully renovated apartment. My review is based off of the specific building I live in as all are a little different. Pros: Office Staff: They've always been really polite to me. You can tell they actually care about the residents and trying to improve University Pointe. They're renovating all the old rooms, repainting buildings, etc. I've never had any issues with my lease or weird price hikes. They're really transparent with anything going on. Amenities & Fixtures: This may seem silly to some, but the water pressure is really good here! I've never had issues with it. The kitchen is big enough for both me and my boyfriend to cook at the same time and it has a massive sink which I love. The floors are really nice in the updated units. The apartments aren't huge, but I have enough space to not feel cramped. If you get a furnished unit the furniture is nice looking. Atmosphere: It's not a traditional student living set up. You don't pay per person. The residents in my building at least aren't all annoying college kids. There's no weird rules about how many guests you can have or anything some of the other ASU owned student living deals with. Pool & Gym & Laundry: The pool is nice and always clean. The gym is small but the machines work, it always has ice cold water and wipes to wipe down things. I just wish the gym had free weights. The laundry used to only take quarters but they upgraded all the machines and they take cards now! They really take care of the public amenities. Also there's nice grills so you can grill up BBQ! Safety: They have security patrolling the area after hours and even have a phone number you can call if you need to contact them or see something suspicious. Security has always been nice to me. Some other reviews mention homeless people being on the grounds and I've NEVER seen that happen in the year+ I've lived here. Pets: If you want a pet they allow it. You have to pay a deposit and some extra per month, but unlike some other student living around here you can actually have a cat or a dog. I love seeing all the cute cats in the windows and seeing the puppies my neighbors get! Tenants: Everyone I've run into so far has been really friendly. People say hi and good morning when you walk by them. So does the staff and maintenance. There's genuinely a friendly vibe. Cons: Slow Maintenance Reporting: They have an online system for putting in maintenance requests, but I've had it happen where they've never received my request or went to the wrong apartment. I've had to go to the office and inquire until someone finally comes. When they do come though they're always really friendly and fix my problem. I've never had an issue they couldn't fix and they've always been really professional. Thin Walls: Sadly the biggest negative is thin walls. God help you if your neighbors sit for hours and blast music from a stereo. I've also sometimes even heard neighbor's cellphones or alarms. You can also hear when someone is talking outside your apartment or if they're yelling at the pool. My neighbors have always been really friendly when I asked them to lower the music though. Most people who live in these apartments are nice. P.S. if your upstairs neighbor smokes weed, the smell will come down into your apartment. LEAF BLOWER GUY: Related to the thin walls they also have a leaf blower going on at least once a week. I've been woken up at 7AM by someone blowing leaves outside my window. The grounds are very clean because of that, but holy crap can it be annoying. Lemon Street Sucks: This is nothing the apartment can help but living on Lemon itself sucks. I've gotten yelled at by drifters and homeless people by the convenience store a lot. Once I'm actually at the grounds though it's very clean and safe. All in all I really like living here. I'd recommend it to any of my friends who are looking for a nice place that isn't the typical college apartment. If you want the loud parties you can always go a street away. If you want an apartment that's a bit more quiet and has nice amenities, friendly staff, and good location to campus move here. I'd also take some of the older negative reviews with a grain of salt as the apartments have gotten a HUGE makeover since then. read more

Bugs is a big problem for me. There are tons of flying insects in my apartment and I can kill 30 of them everyday. I told the office about this, both in person and online, and they said pest control would come every Friday. It has been two weeks and pest control people never show up. And people in the office are not helpful at all and some of them are really rude. Noisy machines start to work around 6am and I can hear the people walking in the room upstairs. So weekends are the only days that I can have a good sleep. I couldn't believe I paid $800+ per month to live with so many bugs. Those problems make me thinking about moving to somewhere else. Our Association has been for alomst 2 Years. I AM GRATEFUL to you all - ROSANNE , KAYTIE , KRISTI and now new recruits like STEPHANIE and 1 other lovely girl at heart. THANKS for all the times , standing by me , and guarding me and taking all seen and unseen care for my stay. I am grateful for the times when i had to do 1 month extension and rather took 2 month extensions at start of year. Dont remember the months. However even when my year lease was getting over, and because of my visa i had to extend my stay. You dealt and give me stay and made sure i have an oasis and roof on me. Thanks ROSANNE for guarding me that time. CANT FORGET how you made me feel special. You guided me to be alert as people could be tricky and not the same as they seem like , FIRST ROOMATE I ADDED was fine at residing however played around with money aspect. Now WHEN I HAD to EXTEND my stay in my HOME COUNTRY for another 2 months, YOU TOOK CARE OF ADDING ROOMMATE in mY ABSence and coordinating via email and website. THAT CAME with another package of roller coaster ride, When we learnt that , with that girl , was residing a guy without informing the Apartment properties & me. ALSO not cleaning the apartment properly , not keeping it hygienic, not organised. THANKS for taking PICTURES that day. OH GOD that was something to deal while i was outside the Country. Also the person didn't feel responsible for handing over the mail box keys and Lost Apartment keys and didn't mention about same to me and went without telling so as not to pay $9. HOWEver you still gave me mail box keys , THANKS for the same. That was great HELP. YOU STOOD BY ME iN CRUCIAL TIME. This place could be really nice if it weren't for the staff. I have lost count of the times they have screwed us over. Sometimes it honestly seems like they're putting in more effort to get us to move out. Basically, they treat their residence as a HUGE inconvenience instead of as the people who keep their business afloat. read more

I've lived here for 6 months now and I can't imagine living anywhere else in Tempe. As a busy student who also works from home part time, I wanted a quiet complex and a large living space. All of my friends who come and visit notice within 15 minutes how quiet it is compared to anything else around ASU. Yes, the apartments are converted motel rooms, but they have interesting shapes which allow for flexible living spaces which I love. The gym is nice and usually empty, pools are great, property up kept, and great engagement opportunities by the staff without them getting in your way like RAs at some other campus apartments do. Internet and cable included, large and abundant laundry rooms, and a great atmosphere. I cannot recommend this place enough. Maintenance: I have nothing but great things to say about the maintenance staff. The complex is always clean, and you can see some of the staff that takes true pride in what they do. I have submitted two service requests, both at night, and they were both resolved within an hour of them opening the next morning. Also, the air conditioning is great in these apartments (they are not on a chiller system, huge plus). Staff: The staff has been nothing but friendly. I established a good relationship with my leasing agent Lauren and have loved working with her for almost a year now since I first toured the complex. Everyone else in the office has been incredibly nice and helpful as well. They are also always looking ahead with new ideas in the office, especially with their new system to send you a picture of your packages as they arrive. Bugs: The only time I have seen bugs in my apartment is after I left multiple dishes in the sink before leaving for a long weekend and when I came back there were two small bugs in the sink. If you clean, there won't be bugs. Other apartments in the area are made completely out of concrete so although it is more difficult for bugs to get around, it is also a very uninviting feeling inside. Overall this is a great place to live. It's closer to campus than almost anything else, which is great because I walk to all of my classes. It is comfortable and safe, while being less expensive than most of the "luxury" concrete floor and ceiling apartments near by. read more

Zero stars for sure if I could. Lived here for a year and completely unsatisfied. On the day of move in my cabinets were broken and we called maintenance to come in and fix it and he literally just said to adjust the shelves and get new magnets for them. Almost got evicted once because of the mandatory pest control, simply because the day before I collect all my trash leave it by the door and take it out before I head to work and try to deep clean as much as possible before they arrive. I got no call or warning that pest control was going to be a day early so yes, my apartment looked messy. He reported it to my complex at which they gave me a three day notice to clean before they evicted me. When the landlord showed up she didn't even look into my apartment, I opened the door and she said "you're good, must've just been a little messy" and went on her way. What gets me the most is that we're able to pay online but they do not allow me to pay online, therefore I'm always late and ALWAYS have to pay late fees. I understand, I was late before and it would lock me out of my account so I'd have to bring in the money order myself. But ever since then, I can't even pay early because I'm still locked out and they refuse to unlock it because of some apparent charges I have and Didnt pay but when I asked about them they said I didn't owe anything. Finally, the apartments have a bad roach problem, two of the four washers for my side of the complex don't even work and sometimes they just take your money (which I still haven't been refunded) and the $1025 I pay in rent monthly is definitely not worth the overly dusty air vents, broken cabinets and wood rot I got going on in here. So much better off paying a little more to get a nicer and cleaner apartment than here read more

this place has asbestos, is riddled with bugs, and will kick you out, steal from you, and send lawyers after your apartment ceiling collapses due to lack of maintenance. AVOID. read more
