This is a review for dog walking, doggy daycare, and dog boarding…read more I found Peaceable Pets after a very thorough vetting (I am convinced I should have been cast in the movie Best in Show--yes, that is how much of a crazy dog lady I consider myself). Time and again, people on the Ann Arbor Dog Owners Facebook group mentioned Peaceable Pets. I read all the reviews, stalked Peaceable Pet's Facebook page (where Robin posts videos of her guests and informative articles about all things animals), scrutinized the information on her website, did a meet and greet with Marcy, our dog walker, a play date at the Dellwood Doggy Ranch (required for doggy daycare and boarders). I give it 10/10 stars. Peaceable Pets is an Ann Arbor treasure. You will not find someone more knowledgeable about dogs than Robin. Some reasons I love what Robin offers: 1. She understands my dog's unique personality, quirks, and needs. 2. She prioritizes the safety, well-being, and quality of life for my dog. 3. The pick-up and drop-off times worked well with my schedule, which was variable for a while, and then predictable for another while. 4. I trust her 100%. 5. Every time I bring Hagrid to her, he bounds toward her and doesn't even look back to say goodbye. Every dog parent knows that is a good sign. 6. Hagrid is calm and content when he returns from daycare. ...I could go on and on. As for dog walking, Marcy was wonderful and reliable. A few times I bumped into Marcy while I was walking Hagrid and saw his entire body language and vocalization over his joy of seeing Marcy. There is no stronger endorsement than that, in my opinion. To top it all off, Robin and Marcy have really interesting personalities, back stories, and talents when they are not caring for our beloved animals. Marcy speaks French. Robin sings in a band. They are the absolute best.

Everything!! They shaved the noses and the eyebrows and left the top knot but shaved all the way up the neck to the top knot and they used all the hair on the top of the head in a top knot, it looks ridiculous and like an amateur did it!!! They shaved the tail!! All the way up to a few whispy hairs in the tip! We said DO NOT cut the tails, we said DO NOT shave the faces and they did both of those things, there is patches that were missed, they even shaved the eyes and lashes!! And we were charged 50 dollars per dog for such crappy and defiant work!!! Do Not take your dogs there, they DO NOT do what you ask, they do whatever they want despite what you tell them not to do!!! They are amatures and are unqualified to do any styles!! Very disappointed!! Will never take a dog to their hack jobs again!!!

I even picked up a winter coat for her her, the prices are great!

I really love this pet hospital. I had went to Gaide's for a long time and then Dr. Gaide retired…read moreand they completely changed his clinic. It left me looking for somewhere else. I just Googled around and found that this clinic was also near my home. I first took in my dog. She was adopted from the shelter and had recently turned one. I took her in for an exam and she needed no vaccines. However, her coat was falling out and it concerned me. I was given some fish oil which greatly helped her coat. I then decided to go ahead and transfer my kitties to this clinic. I brought in Safiyyah and it was a great appointment. All my concerns were addressed. The doctor was very kind and interested in my cat's health. She also recommended a great cat food. Everyone is friendly. I enjoy the atmosphere, even though they are currently renovating. Even other clients are friendly.

I had a great relationship with them when Dr.Howe was there. Then they let him go to a nerve…read moredisorder which was a shame because he was excellent and could have verbally trained some new staff. He was a WONDERFUL VET. Then I started noticing little things that irritated me yet they called me a difficult client. They had treated my two cats. One had diabetes and other issues. This one girl never got along with me from the get go. She had an attituede and apologized for it a couple times, but yet still marked me as a difficult client. Well it is supposed to be an animal hospital...I ask you does an Animal HOSPITAL, have a right to call it's business this when they won't treat pets after business hours even though they have the appropriate equipment to treat them. I had a problem ONE TIME when they decided to treat my fur baby on a SATURDAY. The TECH they sent in to meet me was exadtly that a TECH, not a vet, yet they decided she would be good enough. WRONG....and the charges were astronomical!!! Then one time that I was leaving there I saw the receptionist give this woman the remains of her deceased dog, and just say "HAVE A NICE DAY"..... She was crying. I followed her out to her truck and asked her if she was ok, then she really started crying, and told her it was ok and asked her dog's name. Then I sat there and listened to her tell me stories about him. The poor lady. They should have had someone walk the lady out and listened to her for a few minutes. I couldn't believe it. FINALLY WHAT IT CAME DOWN TO WAS: My KITTY was sick and it looked like she was throwing up blood, i called the clinic and the lady said if you bring her right in the vet can see her, and I told her it would be a few minutes, because i knew it would be hard to get her into her carrier because if she is sick she hides. The girl said as long as your here before noon...and "Oh yes, you will be charged for the visit as an emergency. I got to the clinic and called them and told them I was there, and then they told me I coudn't get in to see her now because we had already made an appt. for MONDAY. I said yes we did as a f/u to today. And you told me that I could get in if i got here before noon. She kept insisting that I could not get her seen. After all the money I spent there. Each visit no matter what it was always costs almost 200.00 and they don't even give out complimentary nail cutting. Dr. Howe used to do that. I mean this business spent millions revampin g the place then raised their rates. I had beeen a client for over 10 years and probabvly put millions into it. And to have this business treat me like my kitty and I didn't matter was just horrible. It makes me wonder if i SHOULD TRUST ANY BUSINESS THAT CATERS TO FUR BABIES IN A NICE ENVIRONMENT. THEY GO THRU STAFF LIKE THEY ARE " disposable goods." THE WHOLE PLACE IS A SCAM FOR MONEY NOW. I had the utmost respect for it when DR. BOUVERETTE they were the initial owners. I can't believe they still own it. Then the vet has the audacity to tell me my kitty is overweight AND IF YOU KNEW HER SHE IS DEFINITELY A HYPOCRITE!!! And her husband worked there. Matter of fact I became a client back when they were first opening and the office looked poorish and they had a space heater. Dr. Bouverette came into meet my kitty and got down on the floor with it, and was petting it and talking so nice then they started upgrading and there were no good vets that would spend five minutes with you and discuss your furbaby. they did a sanitary shave on my baby cuz she has a birth defect and cut her and then tried to downplay it. meanwhile she got an infection. I wouldn't recommend this place if my life depended on it. I wish Dr. Bouverette still was a vet there and SAW WHAT WAS GOING ON THERE. LORI FOROOZANDEH 2015-2025

Had a bad experience with this place, had an altercation(no blood & no bite marks on either dog)…read moretake place between my dog and another. Asked for camera footage and they disregarded my request, kept my dog kenneled separately all day long and after picking him up he was not himself, it took him over a week at home to start acting like himself again My dog has never had an issue before but they blamed him for the altercation and punished him knowing he has separation anxiety- keeping him away from other animals and most staff. Though they refused to show the camera footage from the incident. They informed me he wasn't allowed back after that stay & I laughed - my mind was made up before I even picked him up - he would never be back there again after such terrible management/ communication. I told them that and said I'd spend my money elsewhere happily, if the need ever arises. They recently had an employee quit and reveal the abuse that is going on, they do not care about your animals. abusing them psychologically & Physically to the point they welp - giving them "calming treats" to basically zombiefy them. Do your companion a favor & keep them far away from this place.

From managing medications to alerting me of anything they noticed, Unleashed has always gone above and beyond for me. Now that our pups are geriatric, it's very hard to leave them. I love being able to check up on them with the web cam, and even in their advanced ages, they are always excited to get there and see their human and dog friends. Excellent facility!
