I needed to have my watch band changed, a fairly simple procedure for a jeweler that has the staff present to change the band on a more complex replacement. Many others need to send out my watch to change the band and it can take one to two weeks. I was asked if I would like my jewelry, that I was wearing, polished. Yes, thank you, so I took off my earrings, my rings and my bracelet and handed it to them along with my watch and my new band that I had ordered directly from the manufacturer of my watch. I was invited to sit down and asked if I would like anything, I replied yes, thank you, I'd like a cup of coffee. I sat at the high top counter drank a delicious cup of coffee with cream and sugar and had a wonderful jewelry conversation with the sales person that made my coffee. It felt like a ladies luxurious lunch. Everything was shortly returned all very shiny. It was a delightful mid afternoon treat except for the fact that I did not buy a beautiful sapphire ring that I saw. Consider treating yourself and look at the jewels.

He tested it and told me that it was actually cubic zirconium and the band was not real silver or actually gold plated. I am devastated. I tried calling the store back and was told by one of the workers that they only sell Moissanite tennis bracelets. A family member was there with me and she verified that we were both told it was lab diamond. On top of that, my local jeweler verified that it was cubic zirconium NOT even Moissanite. I am currently at a loss for words. There is a zero % chance I would have paid that much money for anything less than lab diamonds. This was a first big purchase for me that I was very excited to make. Unfortunately it has turned into a lesson. Be cautious!
