We popped In randomly while window shopping and right before grabbing a bite. Right when we walked in, everyone was very friendly. About 2 maybe 3 staff were on deck. Ana who was a doll and very sweet was the one that helped us out. We had a question regarding getting something cleaned and wanted to know the right way to go about it. Have them service it there at the store or have them send it out to New York which will take about a month. She examined the item and suggested in store. While all that was going on, another one of the gentleman on deck came over to asked us if we would like anything to drink. Now that's customer service. I've alway had a great experience at most of the Tiffany's locations give or take one or two that's was a little on the sour side. But this location, El Paseo was excellent. On the smaller size but service was great. Ana took the piece to the back to work her magic while it gave up time to walk around and looked at some of their amazing pieces. Of course there's loads that is a must and I need...lol... Not long afterwards, Ana came back out with the ring and it looked completely different just minutes ago. Whatever she did back there, it was perfect. With sending it in, they would have to do whatever needed to be done which takes a couple weeks. Instead, she suggests that in house cleaning maybe the way to go and see how the results would be. In this case, it was great. If whenever we do decided to send it in, we know the procedure and what to expect. With service that Ana and the rest of the team showed, it's good to know that we'll be in good hands whenever we may need anything. Customer service was excellent and the experience was wonderful. Just a random walked in for a simple question lead to finding someone that would definitely come in handy. It's a smaller store but they do carry a good amount of pieces. read more

This is my second time here. It is located at the swanky The gardens on El Paseo. I really like this shopping area. All the shops are nice. It is all outdoors though which in 110 degree great in the summer maybe it isn't so nice. I found 30 minute parking right in front but on a busy weekend, they have a garage. I came in on a Thursday afternoon and they were not busy at all. I'm the only customer which means they will follow you around wherever you go. The lady who helped me was OK, she wasn't the best. The last time I came the man that helped me was super friendly. He offered cold sparkling mineral water. He suggested restaurants for us to eat at. He was super friendly. This lady did ask what we were doing afterwards. I guess she was trying to strike up conversation. I brought in my previously purchased necklace. This would be the 4th time I have had to get it fixed. The first 2 times I went to Portland, Oregon, and then South Coast Plaza in Costa mesa and . Portland has a little private seating area with bottles of water. They have you sit with them and sign paperwork. No charge to fix the tangle. Same with Costa mesa. My first time at El Paseo, I thought he fixed my necklace that day. Today, I'm told they can't fix the tangle which I wasnt even here for that. It somehow got tangled when I put it in the pouch. She said they could not detangle at the store. I came in because the clasp had broken. She said she would have to send it to New York and it would cost $75. The clasp I can understand would cost but not to detangle. I went ahead and sent it to get fixed and it should take about 2 weeks. We will see how service is when I return to pick up my necklace. read more

We've been shopping at Tiffany's going back to their original store. In the eighties, the company started to expand its brand and bring a little bit glitz to Main Street. That is, if you consider Scottsdale and Palm Desert, Main Street. LOL The jewelry here is outstanding. They excel at designing and making one of a kind pieces that you believe "you need to have." The sterling silver chain and heart is a good example. The prices are somewhat full, but when you have to have it... True, it's a bit thinner, then the original we purchased for our teenage daughter twenty years ago. But it's still a classic piece (photos). We came here to exchange a Christmas gift on Boxing Day and we're treated with a Tiffany's style of customer service. Classic. read more

Located prominently along El Paseo at The Gardens on El Paseo. I can't say that we had an enjoyable or comfortable experience on our visit. We were swarmed by salespeople the moment we stepped through the door...kinda like walking onto a car lot. They asked if they could help, and we stated that we were just browsing. The entire 15 minutes we were in the store, it felt like a small group of them just followed us around. There were almost twice as many salespeople as customers, and we felt very pressured by the constant questions for help or assistance. I understand the desire to provide personal, above and beyond service, but this was ridiculous. Probably won't return to this location. read more

First and foremost let me say that the customer service here is class 1! They are always accommodating and very pleasant. With that being sad I am quite disgusted with the company's policies!!! We have bought many pieces of expensive jewelry (at least for our budget) over the years, as a little girl all I ever wanted was a Tiffany bracelet.. My husband bought me a little beaded bracelet with a a little pink heart it was about $350 and after a year the little heart fell off the bracelet and I mean it just fell off! We took it back to The Tiffany store on El Paseo in Palm Desert to see if they could fix it for us, we were told that they have to send it to New York and it would cost $75.00 I was very shocked by this and a little annoyed as I love Tiffany! My Husband is very kind and said ok! They then let us know that if we couldn't pick it up and wanted it mailed it would be an additional $20 bucks! This just disgusts me as the bracelet is just cheap by their standards and prices! Why don't they stand by their pieces instead of gouging the clients? Maybe because in that area there are many millionaires that $75 bucks is nothing!!!! Never Again! Secret service: Don't assume everyone is a criminal. Came in to make a small purchase, and it took a long time to ring the item. Paid with cash, again small purchase, so no concern for the money exchange, no credit card. Nice guy behind the counter. The person at the door was nice, too. He was talking to my friend and I after the purchase. He was distracted by the person in his ear asking if he was okay. We all know there could be some reason for concern, but in no shape form or fashion, did we appear or look like we were a threat. It's a fine line between security and making people uncomfortable. It would be easy to have a real secret shopper take note of the difference in treatment. Items are decent there, but they are not unaffordable to the working class. We can make purchases, too. This could fall under a different category and end up on your local news with other pending complaints in court. read more

I would recommend Tiffany's because of the friendly sales person (James) who tried helping me with my chain. He ended up getting sales from people who came with me. I just did not appreciate the two ladies (employees) that were somewhat racist and giving dirty looks the whole time (and avoiding us). I live part time in sf and part time in palm springs and wasn't able to exchange a ring that i had never worn and had left in PS due to the return policy (30 days in case anyone was wondering). That was 100% ok -- however, the sales person was incredibly rude while explaining this information to me and basically shoved my bag back to me saying that rules are rules and nothing could be done in the most patronizing way. I was so surprised and shocked that they wouldn't teach their employees how to explain a return policy at a luxury jewelry store with grace. I then left in shock. I had come in wanting to exchange for a specific product so after i left, i decided to go back and get it with or without the exchange. He was not any more friendly and the entire experience was not good to say the least. I visited this location today for the first time, NOT impressed by any means. Unfortunately, i did not get the name of the 1st associate who helped me but she was a young blonde female with shoulder length hair. She was the only SA who was very personalble & helpful that i dealt with. I closed the transaction with a different SAwho was the opposite from the first person I was dealing with. I ended up with a different person because i informed the SA that i wanted to look around some more. when I had found something, a different SA had came by conveniently at that time. Since I did not see the previous SA who'd been assisting me i told her that i wanted to look at a few pieces.....i regret that decision! The SA who last helped me did not have good customer service, what so ever! If you plan to shop at this location dont let "L.Lucero" help you. I believe Lucero should learn some pointers from britney at louis vuitton a few doors down. I went to the boutique after shopping at tiffanys and she was excellent! UPDATED ON 12.16.12 Org. I gave this location a 1 star rating. However, the store manager Jose changed that instantly after talking to him. I've never really knew so much about jewelry until I had to start looking for engagement rings. In the past I've either felt often ignored or pressured to buy something when I went to jewelry stores so my prior experiences made me avoid them. When i began my hunt for diamonds rings I thought what better place to start than the best. The store is well designed and the ambiance is elegant and comfortable for jewelry shopping. The staff are all really friendly. Even security who all dressed like the secret service greeted and open doors for you. Their reputation for customer service proceeded them. I was lucky to be approached by Kathryn who I will say was the best! She helped me with all my answers and educated me on diamonds as well as the very interesting history of Tiffany's and its past associations with royals, Presidents and notables. She was patient to look over things many many times without hesitance and didn't pressure me on my purchase. Even though I didn't buy the first visit she was always there to take care of me personally every visit after with grace. She was very responsive to my emails and even overnight shipped via a Brinks armored truck to get the diamond I wanted for my budget. Talk about customer service! Even after I went back and forth searching other stores such Zales, Kay's, Ben Bridge, Helzberg, Jared and even the larger Robbins brothers, I couldnt help keep my mind off the prestigious Tiffany diamonds and my experience here. That's what made the difference for me. In the end, I walked out with not one but TWO of those much coveted "little blue boxes" in white bowtie that many woman adore. As funny as this sounds but as I left the store feeling good about my purchase, the Breakfast at Tiffany's movie theme song "Moon River" kept echoeing in the back of my head. I have never been to a more unwelcoming and condescending Tiffany store. I have been a customer for well over 5 years now and started coming to this store a couple of months ago and am incredibly disappointed with the lack of customer service. My first visit was to drop off a new bracelet I was gifted for my wedding to have it resized. The rep helping me was very condescending in the way he treated my fiancé and I. That same visit I also dropped off 2 pieces for a cleaning. The 2nd visit I picked up my cleaned jewelry and found a black dot on the back of my necklace which was not there before. I told the rep and instead of helping me she proceeded to argue with me that I brought in the necklace with that stain which is entirely untrue. I persisted and she eventually took it back to try removing it, and thankfully it was able to be removed. I was very frustrated that I the staff did not want to listen to me and had I not pushed, I would have received my jewelry with new stains on it. Unfortunately there is no other location nearby and I will have to continue returning for repairs. However, I am incredibly disappointed with the customer service at this location. read more

My boyfriend bought me a charm bracelet back in July for our 3 year anniversary, but the charm fell off by late September. We went back into the store and told them we didn't have the receipt or the charm and we wanted to replace it. They took excellent care of us and sent it to be fixed free of charge. It was also free to ship it to my home. I went into the store on October 21st and just received the bracelet today, about 2 weeks later. I went to this store during January before the pandemic and was so excited to by myself a ring to start the new year but soon came to the realization that the staff was staring at my family and I as if we were aliens. I have never felt so out of place before in my life. They were staring at us either because we didn't look rich enough for them or maybe because they thought we couldn't afford anything. And honestly I never want to feel like that again. And to top the nasty stares when I asked them a question I got nothing but attitude from the other man and women who were working. I am disgusted with the staff and how they behaved. I have read quite a lot of reviews about this Rachel lady who works there and how she was so nice but she was one of the main people who were staring at us and it made me disgusted. The most horrible experience in a store ever: My husband was buying me the silver Tiffany bracelet with the heart, and he was engraving it with 40 YEARS OF LOVE. When it arrived in the store (Palm Desert, CA), it didn't fit, and the engraving was AWFUL. The Y touched the top wording. They sent it back. The second time it came back, the spacing was AWFUL. The L in love was at the very left side edge, with space on the right. 40 YEARS was just like this: 40YEARS. I tried to live with it, but this is Tiffanys, and it should have been PERFECT. The manager would not make it right. I am so very angry about this, and I have been crying. For the last two nights I did not sleep. After 40 years of marriage, I was getting a piece of jewelry with the words, 40 YEARS OF LOVE. In addition, when it came back for the second time, the chain was too small, so now it's my fault. We counted the links on the chain I ordered vs. the links on the 8 in the store, same count. I happened to notice that their bracelet is 7 3/4, and the manager did not even know this? When I tell you this store was awful to me, believe me. Imagine not trying to make it right. I was so excited to get this bracelet with the words from my wonderful husband 40 YEARS OF LOVE, only to return it back to Tiffanys. They sent it to New York, and they won't even return my money until THEY get the bracelet back to Palm Desert. Tiffanys is suppose to be a very UPSCALE store, and their engraving was suppose to be PERFECT. They kept telling me because it's by hand, they can't do a good job ??? I had been to this Tiffany's before and was surprised by how different my experience was this time around. My sister and I walked in and an older gentleman associate asked what we were looking for. I told him I wanted to purchase a charm bracelet and pearl earrings. He was very short with us and followed us around too closely to the point where we felt uncomfortable. He kept tapping his fingers on the counter the entire time and said he wanted to get us out as quickly as possible. I replied that I liked to look around and was not in a rush. I showed him a photo of the earrings I wanted and he replied that they did not have them and then brought out the exact earrings. I asked what the difference was and he said he did not know. After I pointed out the earrings looked identical to the ones I showed him he said they were the same. My sister asked him for a pair of olive leaf earrings in gold and he replied that he did not think they had them. He did not bother to check. As an associate, he should be familiar with the collections and know the stock available. I will not be coming back. read more

I lost one of my Tiffany Bow earrings and I went in to order a replacement. Jesus "Eloy" Rodriguez was very helpful and had them shipped to my home in San Francisco. When I received them they weren't perfect, and I called him and he had me send them back to him. He immediately replaced my earrings with a brand new pair and shipped them super fast to my home in SF. I am SO impressed with Eloy's customer service skills. Throughout this process he was always there- he contacted me via email and over the phone. He made sure everything was ok and was always there for any questions or concerns. I have purchased many things from Tiffany's in the past, but never encountered a staff member like Eloy. Next time I want to purchase something from Tiffany's or anyone else I know- i will send them to Eloy. He is an amazing member of the Tiffany's Palm Desert team and he treated me with such respect and I am so impressed with him. This time my purchase was so small (only about $90 dollars) and he treated the entire issue like I had bought a diamond ring from Tiffany's. It doesn't matter how small your purchase is- Eloy will give you the best service and make sure EVERYTHING is perfect. I really recommend going through Jesus Eloy Rodriguez.
