I don't normally comment, but my friend and I went to eat there this weekend and it was - kid you not - the worst food I've had in Starkville. Maybe they were having an off night, but DO NOT order their tortilla soup or their beef tacos. Neither had any flavor. And I mean ANY. The soup tasted like tomato paste mixed with water; no seasonings, no salt. The beef was basically gray. Again, no seasoning. Anyway. Ambiance and service were fine to good. We've been here twice now, and it's been great each time! Service is awesome, and the selection on the drink and dinner menu is outstanding. My family and I made our first trip to Uno and we were very pleased with the experience. The service was good and the food was delicious. I went with three tacos. The carna asada, carnitas and scallops Street tacos were very good. One daughter tried the P5 burrito (huge) and my wife and other daughter shared fajitas. The queso was very good. The street corn was good but was missing something that would make me want to get again. Chips and salsa were good and fresh. Overall a very nice meal and I would recommend a visit. read more

We went here after a football game, and even though I was stuffed from lunch, I enjoyed my meal. The main seating area was not exceptional and VERY LOUD, but there was an outside bar area that was very cool. It didn't take that long to get seated (we didn't even have time to finish the refreshing margaritas we bought while waiting for our table ) , and the chips and salsa were good. The food came quickly, and the service was good. I ordered two empanadas and two tacos. The tacos weren't American tacos; these are authentic tacos you would find in a Mexican grocery store. All was excellent! My wife got a giant burrito that she enjoyed. My daughter got a taco bowl, her boyfriend got enchiladas. Everyone was satisfied, and when I got the check, I was pleasantly surprised at the total. Uno Más has Mexican food for any palate: Tex-Mex to street taco and everything in between. read more

I am from out of town and was looking for a quick place to grab food. I called in my order and the person answering was nice. When I pulled up, first thing is the restaurant was empty. The receptionist was nice again, but no plasticware. So I had to stop at a gas station to get some. when I got to where I was going, I realized I was not given my burrito, it was something else. I also had a taco, it had zero seasoning. The hard shell had a funny twang, like it was old. my daughter had two enchiladas. They were at least edible. The chips were ok. Never even got what I ordered but the person I was with relieved everything they ordered and they ordered a lot more than me. I ordered a Mexican Philly, a queso, and a margarita. I only received the queso. When it came time to pay we said put everything but the queso on one ticket and the queso on the other. She then split the ticket in half. Not only did they lose my business, they also lost money today in what I was going to pay. This place is kind of stupid because I called my to go order in and when I went to go pick it up, they then decide to tell me that they could not take my CASH, you know the standard currency of our economy. In order to keep cash in a cash register, I'm pretty sure you have to accept it first. But because they had no cash, they told me that they could not accept cash. Makes so much sense. I was uninformed about how the pricing would have been. When bringing it up to the servers attention she stated that she should have informed me on how it should have been charged to me. The manager then stated that I could not receive any discounts because I had already eaten my food. If I had known what the pricing was I would not have ordered that item.
