Whether you want the late-night fries from the side shack or a sit down at the best patio in Starkville this is the place. It may look like a dive bar but the food is phenomenal. It was packed for gameday weekend but our server was attentive, and food came out hot and fast. Please come try for yourself, a few of my recommendations. The food was quite good and portions were appropriately sized. We went for a lunch on Thursday and the food took nearly a half hour from the time we ordered it to when it came out. Otherwise they would have won the coveted fifth star. read more

After tons of recommendations we decided to try Bin 612! We went in with our expectations way too high in my opinion. Everything was just good but not "amazing". The cheese fries needed more cheese and the food needed less salt. The service was great and our waitress was helpful! I did not see desserts on the menu but after reading other Yelp reviews I saw they had a mini skillet cookie (probably like one per person) the skillet cookies were sooooo good! Celebrating a birthday at Bin 612. We were fortunate to eat before 530 on a weekend In Starkville. Normally, this place can be very busy by 6. However, being Spring Break and the State vs LSU Baseball game going on, we were able to be seated immediately. Due to our large group of 13, we were seated in the back patio and had the place to ourselves. 5 Stars: Our sever was very helpful, friendly and professional. She answered our questions politely and effectively. We ordered the following: 1. Buffalo Chicken Fries - 5 Stars - the Buffalo sauce wasn't too spicy / hot but had a nice balance of vinegar, hot sauce, seasoning. Not sweet at all. Chicken tenders were coated evenly w the sauce and the batter wasn't too thick. Had a nice crunch but was able to taste the tender itself. 2. Game Day Tacos - Italian sausage and Yard Bird - 3.5 Stars w Philly Cheese Steak French Fries (side extra item) - 3.5 Stars. So not your normal Tacos. Mostly coated w Queso Cheese which overpowered the flavor of the Italian items and the grilled or fried chicken. Don't expect a Mexican style Taco. 3. Children's Chicken Tender w fruit - 4 Stars - the two Fried Chicken Tenders are quite large 4. House Salad w grilled, sliced and seasoned ( salt pepper) chicken w house vinaigrette - A mixed leafy green salad with very little accruements to go with it. The grilled chicken was cooked perfectly. The dressing worked well w the chicken and salad. 5. Chicken Club w regular BBQ/Cajun seasoned fries - 4 Stars - The fried chicken was cut up instead of being a whole chicken tender. 6. Game Day Tacos w regular BBQ/Cajun seasoned fries - 3.25 Stars - read 2 for comments. NOTE: Birthday girl received a birthday dessert. A warm chocolate chip cookie with a heaping spoon of vanilla ice cream drizzled with caramel sauce - 3.75 stars for Taste however 5 Stars for Service. After driving 4 1/2 hours from our home, my husband and I were starving and headed straight to Bin 612 for a cold beer and great food! Our daughter was still in class for the day so we stopped here before meeting with her later that evening. We ordered two cold beers and the spinach and artichoke dip. My husband said it was the best spinach and artichoke dip he has ever had! It was piping hot and the chips were very crispy. We sat in the bar area. Love a good local college feel and this is it! There are many delicious starters and sides you could make a meal out of . Dining is in the bar, adjoining room, out on the front or rear patio. We sat in the back patio protected from the rain. I had the avocado fries as a starter. Then I had the chicken club with a side of cheese fries topped with truffle and Parmesan. The avocado fries are large enough to share and the small side of cheese fries are more than enough for one. I absolutely love this place!!! The food was amazing, I got the Bin Burger and fries. Our server, Laken, was such a sweetheart! She accidentally forgot our spinach dip and was so apologetic and sweet about it. Love her. Saturday ambiance is really something! The food was great. Typical college town food. The atmosphere is great. The worst experience of our visit was the server. She did not provide us with a copy of our ticket to review prior to paying. Charged us gratuity which is to be expected, but we did not know for sure until getting a copy of the receipt after paying. We are in town for a baseball tournament and it was recommended to eat at Bin 612. Phenomenal food, awesome service and great atmosphere. Parking was extremely limited in the reserved lot and street parking was limited as well. I had been hearing about their legendary cheese fries for awhile and made sure it was on my list to try. We came here on move in weekend for the students at the university. A fairly light crowd but I imagine quite busy on game days. I chose the Chicken Club on Focaccia and was not disappointed in the least. I had been eyeing the Drunken Chicken Pasta on the menu but decided I wasn't quite that hungry. My wife and daughter decided to share the Queso Burger and son chose the signature BIN612 Burger. For us the cheese fries were good but didn't live up to the hype. The chicken on my Club was roasted to perfection, very moist and flavorful. My taste of the Queso Burger left me thinking a viable option for future trips. Bin 612 is conviniently located in the heart of Starkville, The Cotton District. By day it's just a cute restaurant on the corner, and by night it's raging with loud (and probably irresponsible) college students. But hey, don't get me wrong, being a college student myself I see excitement in the craziness of a Tuesday night. 'The Bin' has the best veggie burner in town, it's made with red beans and rice and the french fries are seasoned perfectly. Also, their avocado appetizer is suggest! (By moi) :) I've never had any drinks from their bar, but they have a good variety of mixed drinks and beer, so anyone can find something that tickles their fancy. The servers are always been pleasant and attentive. However, the Bin is known for one thing, really. A big thing. Only at night past a certain hour do they open their walk up window. Sometimes there may be trouble driving by the bin in the late hours because of the line of eager and patient young adults waiting for the one thing that gives them life. Cheese. Fries. Yes, they should be awarded 'Best bar food in Stark' because they can make anyone happy. The warm queso drenched on the crispy fries is just enough to help the alcohol settle in your belly before bedtime.
