This is the third time I've used Unwind. They've been consistently great and efficient with my previous moves, so I decided to use them again for a long-distance move from New Jersey to Georgia. This move required a lot of logistics as my items were self-packed and stored in NJ and I was already in Georgia. Before the move date, I FedEx'd my storage key to Unwind's warehouse in New Jersey, and Sebastian confirmed receipt without me having to follow up about whether it had arrived, which was great communication on their end. They were able to access my storage unit easily and loaded the truck in NJ a couple days before they were scheduled to arrive in Georgia. The morning of the move, Brayan called ahead of arrival to ask about parking (I live on a one-way street). I had already asked my neighbors to keep the space in front of my apartment open the night before so the truck could park without any issues. Once he and Brayden arrived, they were so fun, kind, and professional throughout the move. They were also very sweet with my senior dog, Sasha, making sure she was safely out of the way while they moved heavy boxes. They even tried to get me to stop helping, but let me cut plastic wrap to keep myself busy while they unloaded the truck. Once everything was inside, they set up all of my major furniture pieces quickly (queen platform bed, tufted couch, 8-piece dining table, glass bookshelf, both of my 55 inch tv's, and a small settee). I later learned that one of my boxes had accidentally been mixed in with another load. Brayan called me the following day to let me know and personally brought the box back to Georgia on his way back to New Jersey to make sure it was returned to me. White glove service! As far as pricing, I really didn't shop around. After 2 moves, there really was no way in my mind that I was going to hire a different company that was unfamiliar with my stuff. But! I will say that their quote was in alignment with what Chat GPT projected for this type of move lol. While I don't anticipate moving again anytime soon, I would definitely recommend them to anyone in the New Jersey area looking for a reliable moving company. read more

I was absolutely pleased with the service I received on my recent move on September 8th, 2023. The move was a short distance and they were great at getting things in a timely manner. The gentlemen were prompt and very personable. Once we got on the same page regarding what had to be moved and how long they were scheduled for. Sebastian is a greatest young man I have ever met. And his guys are all professional, responsible and caring people. I worked with Sebastian and his team two days ago, moving a bunch of super heavy wood furnitures and a nine feet long grand piano. Yes, nine feet! Such an easy move!! I went with Unwind due to the price and the reviews and I'm so happy I did. The movers were so nice and efficient. I had to make a stop on the way to my final destination and it was so seamless. They helped me move large furniture up and 3rd floor walkup that has pretty narrow hallways and stairs.
