They also provided written documentation of how they were going to do everything - details on how the support posts would be set, on the structure, and on the deck boards, etc, many of which were beyond what the local building code requires. And then they were able to deliver on what they said they would do. The new support structure for my deck is rock solid, I swear I could park a truck on it. Good communication with me throughout the entire process. And the finished product is beautiful. I went with a composite deck material. While not the least expensive quote that I had, they were competitive. I went with them because I wanted it done right and last many years, and I fee that they were able to give me that.

Instead of replacing all the windows around the house like all the window selling people are telling us, Rob offered to fix the windows for a much better pricing. We are so happy with the result we asked them to remodel our three bathrooms. Again, their quote was better than the other 8 companies we compared with. Their timing and flexibility was better as well! Throughout the process of bathroom remodeling, they were extremely helpful, accommodating and easy to work with. From picking tiles and helping us with the pickup (usually pretty expensive), to going out of their ways to seal cracks for us on the wall and hanging paintings for my mom. They even offered to walk my dog when they were working with us. They are excellent at what they do. See images for the before and after of the bathrooms. We love our 3 bathrooms now. They were able to accommodate everything we asked them too. Including changing old electric outlets, adding a shower in the guest bathroom, and switching the vent to a heated vent. They even helped to fix my kitchen sink that a plumber failed after trying for 3 days! They are also honest people. I did notice a cracked window and Rob immediately ordered a new one and covered the cost. So they do honor their warranty on their work. I was given an estimate of the cost over the phone so I was aware of the base price going into the repair. Robert arrived on schedule. Here's the problem, the technicians did not re-tighten the bolts once it was fixed. That was 7/9 Tuesday, today 7/16 Thursday, I open my garage door and I see a bolt drop from the same place they loosened the two bolts, so I look closer, the second bolt was about to fall out as well. I contact 5 Star, I sent Daniel (the so-called owner) 3 pictures. Daniel says it's going to cost me another $150 to come back out and repair his poor-quality work. I strongly suggest not using 5 Star, they operate with zero integrity or quality.

He was done in 20 min and barely did any work -- replaced the springs (as we needed) but the repair job was only a couple of new rollers as far as I can tell. I talked to the guy who I presume is the manager and he said the price includes their "expertise" and years of experience. They gouged us. Plus, when they were done, they didn't even clean up.
