Getting the mint green pimeapple night light
    Laurie Y.

Who would think but this store has the cutest things?! I always look at their window displays as i walk around their corner to get to the theatres. My daughter who lives in LA has friends who love "PINEAPPLE" stuff. And surprisingly they have cute ones! I have seen beach towels, neon signs, etc. I think it is tailored to kids but look at the cute night light i bought for my daughter's girlfriend's upcoming birthday next month. The pineapple night light comes in mint green, pink & yellow. The sales staff are nice & friendly too!

I just "fell" in to this shop while admiring their front window display! This is a gramma's paradise. When I saw the mini wet suit I was hooked. So many choices. There are many beautiful cute girls' items but it is not as common to find such a good selection of boys' clothes, hats and small slippahs! I especially liked an outfit of tee shirt, shorts and hat- and the price was about $100. To me, that is pricey. But for the occasional gift for my number one little man, it's a definite go to!

Nice and clean store with great selection for kids. Items a pretty expensive, but that's to be expected since it's in Kahala Mall.

Sure, you could walk to the Ala Mona…read moremall but you're going to spend a ton of money for one toy vs at Keiki 2 Keiki you can let your kids go wild and pick out many things. I was surprised to find that things were priced cheaper than the Once Upon a Child stores we have on the mainland-- particularly the clothes. Speaking of clothes, we found Barbie clothes that normally are $10+ at the store here for only $1.99 new in package! Like new backpacks for like $5.99 and much much more! (loved the $0.99 books). And the quality of the clothing for sale was fantastic for being secondhand-- even the swimsuits. I will say that the store isn't the easiest to navigate (there is A LOT in here) but perhaps that's part of the fun (you could always ask the owner where to locate stuff if you're looking for something in particular). This shop is great way to fill your hotel room with some toys too just incase you have the unfortunate experience of getting sick on vacation or get really badly sunburnt and need a day in (keeps the kiddo happier). Owner was nice too, allowed my daughter to use the restroom. PS If you're a Disney fan there were lots of hidden gems, from Disney pins to Disney purses/packs to jewelry and more!

Every square inch is covered with merchandise. The clerk/owner is Aloha friendly and will help you find something. Several other people were shopping for clothes and backpacks. We did find the tap shoes at about a third of the price of new shoes. What was nice is that she could try them on so we could sure they fit right before we bought them. She tried about six pair before we found the perfect fit. (She is a princess, for sure.) We also picked up a gymnastics leotard for her for a couple bucks. The shop has a small shared parking lot with free parking.

" I came the other day to return a Christmas present my daughter received! The sales clerk would not give my a merchandise credit even it was clearly a SOHA Living item marked $35.80 with NO red line! She said since I did not have a gift receipt or know my daughters girlfriends name so they could look it up, there was Nothing she could do!!! Really? I asked for the supervisor/manager! That's when Rita came to the counter, again asking me all those same questions that I didn't know! Why should it matter?? I have your merchandise, not marked down!! Plus, I showed her a 1/2 page advertisement that was in the newspaper stating "After Christmas SALE up to 70% off". I had come in on 12/26 and there were only signs of 50% off! When I asked, what was 70% off, the girl at counter said it was online! But she couldn't find anything online that was 70% off! So very misleading! FALSE ADVERTISING!! So when Rita said she had to call her manager, I told her to ask about the ad! Well, Rita returns and finally gives me a gift card for $35.80. No tax? I'm sure all my credits have included the tax!! Also, she didn't talk to anyone and just decided to do " the right thing" But claimed she did not give me a hard time! I really like this store and appreciate 2 sisters who went to Punahou started this business and SoHa Keiki but will have to think twice on patronizing them because of the bad customer service! Please note that I gave this business a 5 Star Review on 4/18/2018! Wow, how much has changed in those 6 years! So sad!!

Both times were busy with at least ten of us packed in the small store. I saw mostly Japanese tourists during the first time there and mistakenly assumed this store primarily appealed to the Japanese clientele, but the second time I'd visited had Haole and local customers besides Japanese, which proved me wrong. Snoopy is universal, for sure. I did notice that an employee who spoke fluent Japanese was present during both times I had visited. I visited the store twice because there were too many customers blocking my view of the area of the store that had their tees during the first time that I had went and I just couldn't take a good look at the assortment on my limited time there. I took a couple photos of all of their tees and later looked at them on my phone to decide which one to look for during my second visit. Besides short sleeve tees, they mostly had tote bags. Other than those items, the remainder consisted of one style of slippers, minimal selection of long sleeve tops, and then some accessories such as keychains, stickers, magnets, pens, pancake mix and some stuffed Snoopy's. It's not going to be a wide assortment beyond that. I've been to the Snoopy store in Yokohama, Japan, a few months back and although I admit that comparing the two stores is like night and day in terms of size and selection, and not at all a fair comparison - however, primarily because I happened to go there first, I was ultimately underwhelmed at this store as it was significantly tiny, cramped and not too many items to choose from. Had I not gone to the Snoopy store in Japan, first, then I'm sure this Snoopy's Surf Shop in HI would have elicited more excitement. The only other Snoopy store besides this that I'd been to for stores located in the U.S. is the Snoopy's Galleria & Gift Shop in Santa Rosa, CA, next to the Charles M. Schulz Museum, back in 2016 (definitely worth checking out if you are a lover of Snoopy and Peanuts). It'd be awesome if the Campbell Ave location could move to a bigger location nearby in Honolulu, eventually, and carry more items - though I can understand that at the same time, maybe they just want to keep things small and limited. I haven't been to their Hale'iwa location on Kam Hwy, but from photos, the location there appears a bit more spacious than the Campbell Ave one. The employees during both times that I had stopped by were nice and helpful and answered the questions that I had. I purchased a couple of tees during my two times there. They were about $29-$35 each, so not on the cheap end, but I can see and feel that they are good quality, in terms of the cotton used. I originally purchased my first tee from their online store, earlier this year and wear it quite often and that one washes well. Their online selection of tees is completely different than what you can find in their retail stores and even more limited of a selection - they definitely have a much better selection at their retail stores. Although this store doesn't have a large assortment of items, I was still happy to go out of my way to check the place out and I'd 100% recommend it to any Snoopy and Peanuts fans out there during your time in HI.

I've visited this official Snoopy themed shop (and the one in Haleiwa) during both of my latest…read moreOahu trips. As an avid Peanuts/Snoopy fan, both times I was so excited to visit and made a point of fitting it into the itinerary. However, the main reason it doesn't get five stars is because of the particularly high price point for what it is. Most items are priced higher than other similarly themed, small shops in Honolulu. For instance, some stickers here are in the $5.50 range instead of $3-$4 range. Basic thin canvas tote bags are about $40. It starts to feel like they're really taking advantage of fans and tourists and push a higher limit simply because "they can." The selection is really cute though, and items do sell out. So your options really depend on when you happen to visit. My first time in October 2023, both locations were all out of crossbody tote bags. This time around (February 2026), they were available in both locations. Many of the other items were the same both times, but there were maybe a few new designs. Also, this time around there were none available plushie keychains, which I neglected to purchase the first time around as they're over $20 each. This is just outside the Waikiki beachfront area, so not really easily walkable from there. Parking is street parking. You might have to loop around a couple of times, but it shouldn't take too long. Service here isn't particularly noteworthy, but efficient, especially given lots of tourists who visit, especially popular with Japanese.

Since 1956, Reyn Spooner's been renowned for producing beautiful & authentic Aloha shirts & wear. I've personally enjoyed the quality build & unique designs such as the Year of the Rabbit & University of Hawai'i Aloha shirts. Upon entering you're greeted by an associate while the store is decked out in wooden floors & borders. Since this year's the Year of the Dragon, I contacted the store & they gladly added me on the list once the shirts was available to puchase & pick up. They called me notifying the shirts were ready (they usually hold your reserved items for you for a couple of days). Yes, the shirts are a bit north of $100 but because the shirt is comfortable & very high quality I'd say it's worth it. Love the shirt & design so much I bought both colorways! The staff was very helpful, from showing me the dressing room to showing me other offerings such as their shorts & other styles currently on sale. & the way they fold the items into the bag shows they give great care to their products. I remembered a time when I first got out of college and purchased my very first Reyn Spooner Hawaiian Shirt from Liberty House (ya remember Liberty House???) - (If so, you one old fut like me! Buwahahahahaha!)..........in the 90's I swear I was able to get a Spooner for like $55.00 bucks. 30 years have since passed, and in today's dollars......... you're looking at double the cost for a Reyn Spooner Hawaiian Shirt. Although cost has gone up through the years for this wonderful Hawaiian Shirt, one thing that has been consistent about a Reyn Spooner Hawaiian Shirt is the quality of the product. Most of my Spooners that are in my closet are the poly blend shirts which comprises of - 60% Cotton & 40% Polyester (old skool shirts). The current poly blend shirts that Reyn Spooner now manufactures is 55% Cotton & 45% Polyester. If you're lazy like me, to maintain these shirts, all you have to do is hand wash the shirt, then put it on a clothes hanger to drip dry. No ironing needed whatsoever! Yes, I do know how to iron my own shirts, but I'd rather not because I'm lazy lil' dat! Buwahahahaha! Hey, I ain't gonna lie to ya! On my recent trip to the Reyn Spooner store in Kahala Mall, a friend of mine - Byron S. had given me a Reyn Spooner Peanuts edition "Surfin Snoopy" Hawaiian Shirt in Mens XL for Christmas. I guess the shirt sizing for the Peanuts edition shirts were "oversized", because when I put on that XL shirt, I was totally swimming is that beautiful shirt! Aiyah! Luckily the Reyn Spooner inside of Kahala Mall wasn't too far from my house, so I was able to go there & exchange my Peanuts edition shirt for a Mens Large. Customer service here was just okay, as the store was pretty busy the day after Christmas with only (2) clerks that were working behind the register..........so the wait was understandable. Aside from that, I just LOVE my Reyn Spooner Hawaiian Shirts, as you really can't go wrong with wearing a Spooner, as it's the standard Hawaiian attire for the Hawaiian business man.
