I've encountered quite a few people with horrible attitudes but this one takes the cake. This is my first and last time going here. He's the owner btw. Story: I greet him and tell him I'm looking for a powder for a friend and have no idea because I'm new here. I had a picture but needed a different type of the same brand, and he pointed it out. I took a picture just to confirm with her, he proceeds to say " I don't allow pictures so ask next time". There were no signs to say that but okay whatever I got my picture. I waited like 30 seconds for her to text me back and he says "So you aren't ready? *scoffs* okay I'll wait". uhh there's no one else in the store but okay.So she responds, it's right, okay gr8 let's check out. the powder's price tag was $18, I go to swipe my card and notice the sale says $25.27. Mind you, I could hear him typing additional amounts in after he scanned the powder. He has a printed paper taped to the counter that says "a card processing fee". I'm used to 50 cent or something. I ask him how much the "fee" is, he rolls his eyes and won't give me a number just loudly babbles off "there's a fee for cards so the total is 25.27". At this point I'm getting irritated because of his attitude. I ask him again, how much is the fee because taxes aren't this much. Before I could finish my sentence He raises his voice and babbles the same thing again. So I cut him off and raise my voice back at him telling him to let me speak! At this point I'm livid and can't believe I just had to raise my voice at this man. I continue to check out because I know my friend needs this for her medical condition and it's hard to find. I ask him for the copy of my receipt. It's a little receipt that has no details just a total. I ask for a detailed receipt, he says he doesn't have one. As I'm about to leave I turn around and tell him his "fee" is illegal and I know he is just typing an additional charge in which is why he won't show me the full receipt. He gets wide eyed and before he could say anything I raised my voice and told him I'm reporting him to the BBB and anywhere else that will listen, and he's a disgusting person and shouldn't own an establishment. He just stood there finally speechless. So moral to this, do not spend your money here. He's disgusting and shouldn't own a business let alone be in customer service. And I will be reporting him.

The staff was super friendly, asking us right off the bat if we needed assistance. Being new to vaping, they were super understanding and didn't pressure me into anything. It was all free will :) They carry a vary wide variety of e-cigarettes, replacement parts, and a plethora of flavors, strengths and brands for all tastes and preferences. I love that I was able to try the flavors right there in store. The e-liquids seemed pretty reasonably priced considering how two small bottles of e-liquid (~$15) is roughly equivalent to a carton of cigarettes. It's a no-brainer.

Awesome beer selection plus cigars, pipes, and accessories…read more For many years South Tacoma Pipe & Tobacco has carried a wide variety of products for all of your tobacco (and other) smoking needs. When they decided to expand into beer sales they went all out-- more than half the store was suddenly stocked with just about every import and microbrew you could think of. Recently they have expanded again, this time moving all of the 'pipe & tobacco' products into a separate shop next door. This has created room for even more beer in the main shop, including a rotating selection of taps where you can get your growlers filled ($12) or have a pint while you shop ($5). The staff here is very helpful and knowledgeable about their products. They can help you find the type of beer you're looking for, recommend something new, or even special order some specific varieties that they don't have in stock. Prices here aren't too bad-- most of the beers are sold as singles and though you might be able to find certain bottles cheaper on sale at the grocery store, but they can't compete with the variety here. I do think $5 for a pint is a bit excessive, especially considering that this is NOT a bar. Probably a better idea to ask for samples from the taps and then fill up a growler...
