My husband and I have been here a couple of times. If you're into warm fresh soft donuts, this is definitely your thing! I've never been to a donut shop that is always so popular and busy. We came on a weekday and there still was barely any donuts left! Depending on when you come there might be a line around the building for them. I've been here with little to no wait too. It's a dream of mine to catch them on a day with it full of donuts. It's that good they fly off the shelves! I've never had a bad donut or experience here. My only wish is that I could try some more donuts as they are usually out. It's a really nicely ran spot and the ownership is very very kind. It's not super big or anything, your typical donut shop size. Tip: it is cash only! 19.95 a dozen was their most recent price as of 2/13/26!

Upland Donuts is still my favorite donut shop. I was here again yesterday. I was lucky to get 6 hot and fresh glazed twists (my favorite donut!) off the rack from the back and 6 other good ones from the front. You can't go wrong with any of their donuts even the cake donuts. They are all super light, fluffy (raised ones), soft (cake ones), and delicious! Their donuts don't stay displayed behind the clear glass case for too long because they'll get sold in a jiffy. They literally fly off the rack! LOL Yes, they are that busy! It appears their donut size has slightly shrunk a bit and price has gone up again. It's now $19.95 for a dozen of assorted donuts either build your own or let them pick. Still worth every penny! Every time I have been here, the owner lady is here. Sometimes, she may have one other staff member to help her at the front. Owner and staff are always nice and friendly. Service is usually very quick. It's just the long line that you have to wait for most of the time unless it's at opening time or near closing time. What I noticed is that they may not have all the donuts out if it's too early in the day unless you pre-order them. They close on Mondays. They open on the other 6 days from 5:00 AM to 12:00 PM. How nice to work early in the morning and have the rest of the day to do whatever they want. But then again, they probably have to go to bed early in order to wake up really really early in the morning to get the donut dough batches ready for each day. For those who has been to Upland Donuts, you know it's the real deal. For those who haven't, come on by to check them out. Their amazing donuts and creme puffs are waiting for you! I was shopping at Whole Foods and decided to yelp something good around the area. Upland donuts came up and I was cravings a donut so I headed over. Upland donuts was located in a big plaza. This place had a line out the door. I got in line and it more pretty fast. I ordered four chocolate glaze donuts and one apple fritters. The chocolate glaze donut was all out so I had to wait for them to make a fresh one. This was amazing fresh! It was so good! The glaze and the donut dough were perfect together. I had the same donut about a couple of hours later it was just a regular donut. You have to eat it fresh! The service was super nice! Everything was working with a smile and was so helpful. Overall, come try this place for their fresh chocolate glazed donut! You won't be disappointed.

I came here on a Sunday about an hour before closing. Parking was easy because they share a private lot with many other businesses. I wasn't sure if they would have many donuts when I arrived, but they had a few varieties left. I ordered chocolate glazed and regular glazed donuts. These donuts were absolutely amazing! The balance of sweetness was perfect and the donut was so soft it melted in my mouth. This place is a must if you enjoy donuts.

Literally the best donut place in the area hands down. They have been at this location, family owned for decades! Their donuts are soft and delicious. The croissants are the best you can find. A must stop when in the Upland area!! I live out of state now, and always stop here for breakfast when visiting. The donuts are fresh, soft, and delicious, and the service is always top notch. Make sure you bring cash and come early, I did wait in a bit of a line but that was to be expected at 9am on a Saturday.

This place is cash only so make sure you bring some cash with you! Otherwise there is an atm machine inside or a stater bros in the same plaza for cash back. Their donuts are so fresh! On cheat day ONLY.... I was at a party yesterday where they had a large box of a creamy custard filled pastries. They were delicious! I had to check the box for a name to see where they came from. After checking online, I saw that they must be the cream puffs that everyone raves about. Will definitely go to Upland donuts next time I am in the area. read more

Arrived on Sunday morning at about 9:00am. There was a line out the door! It is right down the street from my house so I decided to wait out the line. Glad I did because it went very quickly. I ordered a half dozen and the price seemed reasonable. Donuts were fresh and tasted great. Not sure if the line was because they are so popular or just because there is not to many donut shops in the area. Either way, if you see a line do not be scared away... you will have fresh great tasting donuts in no time. read more

Started coming here about 3 months ago, about once a week. Tried almost all of them and the only ones that stands out is the glazed twist chocolate round and apple fritter. Customer service is fine, unless you get the older lady. I've gotten her a few times and each time she is nice to every one until she gets to me... don't know why. Two times it was obvious I was next but she just skipped right over me and asked the person behind me. I had to say, "excuse me I'm next." "What do you want?" she says to me condescendingly. Other times she would nod her head at me... just strange. Maybe she doesn't like guys dressed in business attire, I don't know... just very odd. Now.... the other two gals are very nice and cordial. I'll just try not to get the older lady or maybe go a little further down to that donut place in Claremont, instead. read more

My family and I have been going to this donut shop for over 25 years and it has never ever disappointed. All these other fancy donut shops popping up have nothing on this original donut shop. I am a Krispy Kreme girl, but these donuts are in my opinion some of the very best! Fresh, soft, and don't taste like bad oil. So many donuts are ruined by the taste of the oil, but these are great! I love their cinnamon rolls, apple fritters, crullers, and even their cake donuts (which are usually not my favorite!). I ask for them at least once a month and they are such a wonderful treat! When I first came to Upland (2002) a neighbor pointed me to Upland Donuts. Wow! Best donuts I've eaten...no competition. Service is excellent. Family-owned. Good coffee. And bring cash! No cards. And enjoy talking to the other people in line because there is always a line out the door! read more

The reviews are correct: these are the BEST donuts period! The cake donuts are fluffy and moist. You will not find one better anywhere. The best part, after eating one of these donuts, you don't have that greasy feeling in your mouth. The blueberry donuts are phenomenal with bits of blueberry bursting throughout. This is probably my favorite donut shop. We recently moved to the areas and my husband has surprised me a few times with Donuts on a Saturday morning. They've always been so fresh! Once they were even still warm. The line is normally out the door so it's best to go early. Last weekend, the line was too long so he went to the other donut shop on foothill and they weren't good. The BEST!! I love that this place is right in my backyard. This is not a fancy donut shop. It's your normal, little, neighborhood, cash only, donut joint. When you drive up it doesn't look like anything special...until you notice the line of people that seems to be there all the time. They don't have any fancy novelty or gourmet flavors. They have glazed, chocolate, maple, cinnamon rolls and an assortment of cake donuts... Some apple fritters and savory croissants as well. BUT THEY'RE AMAZING! The quality of these donuts is off the charts. They must change the oil every batch. It never tastes greasy, and the dough itself is delicious... It's not just the glaze that gives the flavor. The family that runs the place are so sweet. They often throw in a few freebies when I'm picking up donuts for my coworkers. Honestly, I don't care where you live. Take a drive to Upland Donuts. Go picnic in a nearby park or something. It's a nice area. Make a day of it. It's so worth it. read more

It's tradition for my daughters and I to go out to breakfast on Mother's Day prior to going to church. We got here about 5 minutes after they opened and there was already a line inside! Very popular place! The line moved quickly and we placed our order at the register. They call your name when your order is ready and my daughters were kind enough to go pickup everything. There's tables inside and outside and we chose the large corner booth inside. It's very clean and roomy inside with minimal decor. The owner brought over cookies for the moms, and brought out cups of iced water for those who needed them. Great hospitality and service! I was tempted to get the Ube pancakes, but I had been eyeing the lilikoi French toast all week, so I went with that and a cappuccino. Also got a side of bacon and eggs. My oldest got the buttermilk pancakes and my youngest got the chocolate chip buttermilk pancakes and an iced matcha + honey with strawberry cold foam. Everything was wonderful! They make their own bread for their French toast and the passion fruit curd from scratch! Wow! So good! The strawberries were also super fresh. The bacon was cooked perfectly--nice and crispy! Really good portion sizes as well. We will definitely be back!

The pancakes were so buttery soft and the chilaquiles were just right not too spicy or watery. The staff is great giving us recommendations as it was our first time here and there is plenty of sitting space. We will def be back!

And teas: peach was a group favorite with vanilla spice as a close second in my opinion. The salad dressing was very good, as was the tomato soup with red pepper. The finger sandwiches were delicious, I especially enjoyed the egg salad and red pepper. And desserts were delightful. The service was great. Terry is funny and cool and super helpful. The beautiful brick building is decorated to accentuate the historic details. After, we shopped their antiques and each found a few items to take home.

Went here this morning. The donuts are good, not the "best" but they were pretty good. There wasn't a large selection and the place is very small. I gave this place 3 stars because the selection was small and they only accept cash. I didn't see any filled donuts. There was chocolate, glazed, and maybe some sugar donuts and some bear claws. I was hoping for some raspberry filled donuts but oh well maybe next time if I come a little earlier they will have some more. If not I probably won't come back but at least the donuts are good. read more

On my way home from running an errand this morning and stopped here to treat my son with a chocolate donut. Donuts were fresh and so soft! Definitely sweet!! Glad I found this gem spot. Thank you for the yummy donuts. read more

The donuts looked good but tasted just fine. The filling was too sugary for me. The dough was a bit too dense. I might try them again, but not in a hurry. They were just average. read more
