I stopped by in the afternoon because l'd heard good things about this shop and their variety of donuts. Unfortunately, there were only a few options left by the time l arrived. The bigger issue for me was the checkout experience. When I asked if there was a card fee, I was told no and that my total was $3.25. Later, I saw my bank notification showing I was actually charged $4.25. It's not the dollar that bothers me--it's the fact that l wasn't told the truth when I specifically asked, and I also wasn't given a receipt. To me, that feels like bad business practice. read more

Located on Foothill with plenty of parking. It's a fairly small shop with a few tables. The lady behind the counter was nice and answered my questions. I was specifically looking for French crullers, since not every shop has them. They did, so I picked up a few along with a cinnamon roll and apple fritter and she added a few donut holes. Total was $10.90 The French crullers maybe could have been a little softer or more airy. Don't know if they make them the traditional way with choux pastry or not. Cinnamon roll and apple fritter were nice. read more

I love the donuts. Some of my favorite options are usually available later in the am. Very nice staff. Last few times I've found something that bothers me, and should bother you too. If you use a card, be aware of the extra they'll charge you. I don't mean card charge, which is a dollar. A little high, but it is what it is. The issue I have is the amount they add at the POS card machine. This time she only added five cents more than the cash register showed. Last time it was one dollar more. It's been in between a few other times. Too many times to be an accident. I will pay them a dollar more for the donuts, but when they move so fast and put in wrong amount (100% in their favor) it seems shady, purposeful, and unnecessary. It's just far enough away to go to other places that are just lesser donuts for me. read more

Made a quick stop at this donut shop which is not local to us. We were excited to get a quick bite to eat and to see all of the cool donuts that they have we ordered two donuts each and a drink surprisingly it was very expensive the donuts were great so I guess it was worth it read more

Christy's in Upland is Awesome! ALWAYS clean and GREAT customer service! My wife brings our autistic 6 year old a few times a week because he loves it... :) He gets loud and excited, and the people behind the counter are always so kind and accommodating. We truly appreciate it! My wife left her purse in the shop the other day and the owner grabbed it and held it for her, and when my wife went in to ask about it the next day the owner brought it right out! So grateful to have places (and people) like this in our community!! read more

I found this place on Yelp so I can pick up some donuts for myself and some to Kaiser staff for taking care of me. It's in a plaza so there is tons of parking. I ordered the glazed donut for myself and 3 dozen of mixed donuts for Kaiser staff. The glazed donut was delicious and soft. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I would definitely come back here again to try other donuts. I was in a rush so didn't even get a chance to take pics of the donuts nor the menu. read more

Great experience! My daughter earned a treat from learning to swim and her choice was a donut. We stopped here based on the other great reviews and I'm glad we did! This is, hands-down, the best donut I've ever consumed. I tried the glazed twist, chocolate ring, blueberry cake, and frosted sprinkle ring; all of them were delicious. I'm not much of a donut person but these ones were delicious! My husband went there the other morning and got 1 orange and 1 strawberry cake donut, 1 chocolate bar, 1 glaze l, 1 coconut and 1 coconut cake donut. They were all really good. I was glad that we found a place so close to where we live. Would've taken a photo but they were gone so fast! read more

I USED to love Christy's donuts at 870 E. Foothill Blvd, Upland, CA. Now, however, I have become quite disenchanted...the quality and taste has changed. It seems they have changed their recipes or vendors/providers of ingredients or perhaps making larger batches I don't know but something has changed; for example, the cake donuts have way too much cardamom leaving a "perfume" taste - to my taste buds anyway - which make them inedible for me. I find the Apple Fritters are not evenly cooked, the center is undercooked while outer part is over cooked. Icing is thinner and taste different i.e. maple flavor is too artificial with a bitter aftertaste, icing on cake donuts is barely there...when your 4 year old grandchild proclaims "there's no frosting" your observations are confirmed. Croissants taste stale. Last two times I have bought a Ham and Cheese croissant, it has been stale, dried out and burnt on the bottom. It's unfortunate because this was THE place for donuts. Went in about 10:00am. Had a bear claw and it was a 2 star bear claw. Tasted like it was sitting on the shelf for a while so I will give them the benefit of the doubt with 3 stars. My wife had a chocolate twist and she said it was average. Donuts are not bad, just average. read more

First time coming here and was not impressed, customer service lacks the lady helping us out was not friendly, I wanted a jalapeño cream cheese croissant and she said they didn't make any so I ordered a plain one she never asked if I wanted it warmed up like other places do! Next door to what appears to be a popular local breakfast spot, Christy's donuts sort of blends in to the strip mall facade in which it resides. The small, vaguely-themed shopping center did Christy's the honor of placing several unsightly newspaper racks and machines right in front of the store. We're it not for the utter lack of Donut shops east of there in Foothill for several miles, we likely would have kept on driving. As it was, arriving at 11:30 am with my eight year old son on a Saturday, we had a better chance of finding turn signal use in Arcadia than much of a donut selection in the case. But the boy opted for a big gooey cinnamon roll, I ordered up a plain old fashioned with a coffee, and we were five dollars poorer and several calories richer. What makes this a 4 star donut shop? The kid working there! Absolutely one of the nicer donut shop proprietors I've had the pleasure of interacting with my kid. He asked him questions, made small talk in an appropriate way, and was very patient and kind. We don't happen down this stretch of Foothill all too often... Just the occasional jaunt to BassPro when the freeways are a disaster, or I just want a little quality father-son time. Of course, I saw this sweet ride next to my truck, and that, in and of itself, merits a for star rating. read more

My son and I took our dog to the vet and after he wanted to grab a donut. We found this shop nearby and decided to give it a try. Now - I won't be one to ruins one livelihood, but I have to provide constructive criticism. The donut had a mint taste & I didn't finish it. I tried, but it just wasn't what I'm use to. I ate about less than 1/2. The ice coffee was sour coffee over ice and vanilla sweetener. I wasn't sure if I was drinking coffee or a lemonade iced coffee (that's not a thing). It was terrible. Sorry. I've had better coffee at 7-11 and that says a lot. The positive is, my son thought the donut was delicious!! After all, it was him who wanted the donut and if he's happy - then I'm happy! So! I would've gave you a 2, but since my son was happy. I give you a solid 3. read more

Located right on Foothill and Campus, you have to stop at Christy's! The donuts are delicious and don't forget to try a ham and cheese croissant. Let them warm it up for you and you'll enjoy it even more. Great breakfast treats and the proprietors are always kind. I have only been to Christy's once and picked up a dozen I took to work ! The nurses all enjoyed them very much ! I work in Westwood and have many choices like Sidecar and Primos but Christys is my favorite . I'll be picking up another two dozens on 9/20/2022 . Hope they are as good as last time ! read more
