It seemed like he couldn't wait to throw me out of the door. In the end, he sarcastically said he thought service dogs were supposed to behave better even though my dog didn't cause any trouble (no barking or littering) the entire time. He just curiously looked around a couple of times. This is the most unprofessional tour I have ever experienced. Not even any basic respect or manners. I recommend that you stay away no matter how cheap their membership fees seem to be.

Since we are in town for vacation and getting a day pass, he informed us that all day pass dollars collected are donated to a specific charity connected with the gym. Each Henry's gym location has a charity they donate to. Such an amazing group of people who are willing to donate to a local charity to help the community. On to the actual workout. There are 2 floors with specific lighting to help your body and mind while putting in your hard work. The equipment at this gym Gym80 and Hammer Strength Equipment are smooth, clean, well maintained and comfortable to use. If you are not into loading and unloading your own equipment, head up to the 3rd floor where you will find all the pin loaded equipment. My legs are on fire, they have equipment at this gym I've never seen before. My glutes are gonna be hurting tomorrow. Every pin loaded machine was easy to use and smooth. On to the basement level/plate loaded machines (where my husband spent most of his time) beautiful red lighting, great overhead lighting so you can see your progress, clean, unbeat up plates, smooth equipment that goes up without chains clicking or belts squeaking. Don't visit if you are expecting to get away with poor gym etiquette, every machine is expected to be wiped down (as it should) and unloaded for other people. This gym gets 5 stars from my husband and I. If we could give 6 stars we would but 5 will have to do. We are looking forward to heading back in the am.

The facility is beautiful, and I had an excellent personal trainer who made coming to the gym something I looked forward to. Much of my positive experience was because of her, not management. Looking back, there were already red flags. When I signed up for personal training, I believed I was agreeing to pay around $600 for six months of training. It wasn't until later that I realized it was actually about $600 per month for six months, a much larger financial commitment than I understood. Whether intentional or not, I found the pricing presentation misleading. Where my opinion changed completely was management. Over time, I observed a pattern of defensiveness whenever legitimate concerns were raised. Instead of listening to constructive feedback, management often dismissed it, shifted responsibility back onto the customer, and framed recurring concerns as misunderstandings rather than considering whether their communication or business practices could be improved. That left me feeling unheard and made me lose confidence in how the business operates. After my experience, I researched Henry's further and found many other people describing similar concerns involving confusing contracts, difficulty cancelling memberships, continued billing, and collection threats. Reading those accounts made me realize my experience wasn't unique. While I can only speak to my own experience, it was concerning to see so many people raising similar issues. I also found it disappointing that a business which publicly emphasizes community and inclusivity did not seem to demonstrate the same level of empathy or flexibility when members experienced unexpected hardships or needed reasonable accommodations. In my experience, there was a disconnect between the values the business projects and the way concerns were handled. This is subjective, but I've also always felt uncomfortable with some of the cultural artwork displayed throughout the gym. While I understand the intention may have been to celebrate different cultures, some pieces came across as stereotypical rather than thoughtful, and it never sat quite right with me. Finally, I noticed that the gym's Google rating has increased substantially over a relatively short period after remaining much lower for a long time. I don't know what accounts for the change, but it stood out to me given that similar complaints continue to appear on other review platforms. I genuinely appreciated my trainer and the quality of the facility. Unfortunately, management's lack of transparency, accountability, and willingness to accept constructive criticism ultimately overshadowed those positives. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Henry's Gymnasium.

Nev listens and takes all my issues and goals into consideration, which combined with her deep and intuitive understanding of biomechanics has worked wonders for me. Nev has not only helped me get stronger, but also importantly works with me to build a strong foundation for progressively more challenging workouts. Then I switched to pro fit and saw results immediately. I saw more progress in one month with pro fit than the previous 3-4 months at the other gym! And I'm not even exaggerating. I love that they would put up a workout on the board for me each time I come in and would try to squeeze me in when I couldn't make my usual time. Everyone was really friendly and would greet me each time I went in, and I was pleasantly surprised that all the trainers learned my name. I worked mostly with Chris and he was amazing! I I remember I could not run for more than 2 miles comfortably right before joining pro fit, and three months after, I can comfortably run 6-7 miles and broke my personal record again and again without intentionally trying to improve my running stats. I'm training for a half marathon, and that to me three months ago was unimaginable. They also have a body scale that breaks down your muscle mass and fat mass by arms/legs/etc, which has been really helpful in tracking progress. I had the silver package for three months and they are not cheap. I now understand it's for members only however your staff did not have to be extremely rude. A simple "sorry ma'am" would have been sufficient. However the staff seemed angry and annoyed at the question and went off on me basically embarrassing me in front of gym members. My friend was sooooo embarrassed for me especially her paying a paying member and had to apologize on their behalf. Please train your staff to be polite. No need for the theatrics, they treated me like I was a criminal.
