The food was amazing. Pan pizza - not quite deep dish, toppings all the way to the edge. They didn't have a pizza on the menu that we saw in some reviews but were happy to make it when we asked! The personal pan was the perfect size thick and filling. But the meatballs... oh god the meatballs. Perfection. Made from scratch, no anise, they were the star of the show. Our Airbnb listed this restaurant in its info book so we ordered delivery our first night in Marathon. That was a Saturday so maybe the amount of orders was hard to keep up with. We waited for over an hour for two small pizzas. When we asked about the delay it became evident that the server never placed the order. However, he came to the table and lied to us about it, followed by the manager, who told us that the pizzas would be out in 15 minutes. She also lied. We stayed at a hotel right down the road from Upper Crust, and one night we just really felt like getting pizza, but not sitting down anywhere. So we called here and ordered takeout, and they were super awesome! Their website is super easy to look at a menu, which other pizza places I did not find the same, and when I called the lady I spoke to was so nice, and great. When we got the pizza half an hour later, it was really good!! The perfect dinner in! And we also had to nab a slice of key lime pie, and I thought it was pretty good. I wasn't a huge fan of the sprinkles on top, I didn't really prefer that extra crunch but the raspberry or strawberry drizzle was wonderful, a great touch. So yeah, if you want some classic good Keys pizza give these guys a try! read more

I don't usually leave reviews however this restaurant was better than most. I ordered chicken Parmigiano and the way it was prepared was excellent and original. Instead of a huge piece of chicken with a side of spaghetti it was combined together. The chicken was delicious. My hats off to the chef. I have to say this was the worst pizza I've had and we love pizza. The thin crust was nice, however for $71.00 for 2 large pizzas , you would expect nice toppings. The toppings were very sparse . Marathon Key classic. This place is a local favorite and also well loved by those who visit as well. The service is great and the menu is simple but covers all the classics. I ordered a greek salad and a pizza for pickup. I repeated myself twice to make sure they got both items. I arrived 10 minutes before the time I was told it would be ready. I got the pizza but no salad. I asked for the salad and was told there's no salad. I said I want a salad too. He said I'll have to charge you for the salad and then they'll make it (of course I need to pay for the salad). I asked they guy to keep the pizza warm while they make the salad. He said "It's in a box, it's okay" and wouldn't keep it warm for me. I then asked for plates and was asked how many. No big deal, except it appeared to be a bother for him. I then asked for a fork. I was told no. We don't have forks. I ordered a salad and am staying in a hotel room. After I asked how am I supposed to eat the salad, he went to the other end of the service area abd picked up two forks. Said that was the last two. I got back to my room, a three minute drive, and the pizza was cold, but blackened on the bottom. The salad wasn't and pizza came to: $41. Totally not worth it. read more

Great pizza, family owned joint. I ordered a pizza and garden salad to go. The place is a bit divey. The chairs did not look comfortable. On Friday night it was quite busy. All tables were filled and there were at least 5 other carry out orders. To me, it is better as a carry out place. There were mostly honored citIzens eating amongst friends. Also, their parkIng lot was a little flooded and the signage is hard to see in the dark. The pizza is really good. Love the crust because it is crunchy and there is not much of a crust. This pizza is pretty east coast authentic. I will be back to carry out again. read more

I was very impressed with Upper Crust Pizza. Pizza is not my #1 choice in the Keys, however we waited until 8pm to figure out what to eat and pickup of pizza and wings sounded like an easy option. We looked at Yelp reviews (I have learned how to navigate through Yelp pretty well) and we liked what we saw and decided to order. Very nice woman answered the phone and took our order. She was pleasant, repeated our order back to me and the food was ready pretty quick. When we arrived for pickup, the owner and her family were so pleasant! When you walk in, you can tell it is family owned (which I absolutely LOVE). The food was hot, prices were decent and pizza was delicious. The surprise item that we all devoured was the chicken wings. They are oven baked and delicious with some spice! I will definitely eat from Upper Crust Pizza again when we are in the Keys! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND to everyone and hope you enjoy as much as my family & friends did. read more

The place was a hidden gem, inside was super clean and homey! We walked in and felt right at home, We were greeted right away by the friendly staff. The appetizers were fresh and delicious to - the pizza was not to thick not to crispy with just the right amount of toppings.
