Went to Franks at 8:50 on Tuesday night, 6/23, they said kitchen was closed, yet sign clearly states 9pm. Still people eating inside. You can always tell when an owner is not at the resturant and staff want to leave. read more

Tucked in the corner of an unassuming strip mall, at first glance you might get worried but just wait...the food is amazing, the staff are very nice and welcoming and the prices were surprisingly reasonable! They start you with a loaf of bread accompanied with whole roasted garlic in olive oil. The Italian dressing is home made and the Caesar salad and croutons were delicious. My son had the NY strip which was exactly medium well. The Penne pasta with Vodka sauce was one of the best we've had but the to die for was the lazy grouper with a lemon butter sauce with scallions!!!! So yum!!! If you are wanting excellent Italian with wonderful seafood offerings down in the middle Keys this is your spot! read more

Dinner last night at Frank's Grille - never disappoints! The wedding soup- was so good! The Snapper francaise- amazing- the fettucini- is better than I have ever had it -ever- anywhere in my entire life. I had to walk the park twice-lol. If I could get reservations easier (Open table for instance) I would be eating there once a week for sure. It is definitely worth making the call the day before or 2 to reserve your spot! read more

We stopped here on our way to Key West - Overall we experienced amazing food and friendly service! Before you order you get warm bread with garlic and oil: 15/10. We shared the shrimp and fries - the shrimp is massive and we both enjoyed the light, tasty breading. We also split a tiramisu and OMG. SO GOOD. Great food great serve however extremely small restroom and the bathroom is outside instead of inside that is an inconvenience.

We weren't expecting this to be in a strip mall hence 1 star off. Other than that it was pretty good. Very popular, reservations needed unless you're ok eating at outside tables in front of the restaurant. The food was good but didn't blow us away as the noodles felt like Barilla or something else store-bought, mass made. Service was friendly, overall good, just be prepared for a neon-sign strip mall restaurant. read more

Had gluten free breaded (with corn starch) chicken francaise and gluten free pasta (penne) with olive oil and garlic sauce and it ROCKED. The bread for table comes with garlic cloves - I asked for more and happily ate them and added them to the chicken and pasta. Soooo good. Drove 16.5 hours to marathon for our honeymoon. while trying to find some good food, We pull up and instantly get turned around at the door. We need a reservation. So we leave and tried to call multiple times to make a reservation. The phone either rings til the cows come home or it's a busy line. Such ashame. Frank's do better. read more

The food was good - but just that. Nice bread, garlic. Oso bucco was good but the underlying rice was overcooked. My wife's Grouper was a smaller portion than we have experienced and was fine. Semi-hidden gem in back of strip mall that really shined from beginning to end. Charming place with small number of tables, quiet enough for conversation and server was attentive and knowledgeable. Between family we had chicken parm, pork osso buco special, ribeye, fettuccini alfredo and all items were outstanding; no room to try the desserts sadly. We sat inside as it was a little chilly but they did have nice live music outdoors. Friendly service makes up for the "adequate" at best Italian food. Lasagna served in a boat obviously premade, who knows how long ago. Taste was good but presentation not so much, half was burnt and wasted. May try again, but may not. On the positive side with the bread and salad I'm not leaving too hungry. read more

Our waitress recommended the fettuccine Alfredo advising that it's the best she ever had, and she was not wrong. The sauce was somehow both delicate and robust!
