If you love authentic Italian and are looking for the BEST Alfredo you've ever tasted, you gotta go to Frank's. Modest looking from the outside in the strip mall. Trust me-delish! Atmosphere: Laid back. 12 tables. Good service. We had a great waitress with a good sense of humor. After taking our order, she disappeared for less than 2 minutes and returned with our salads. She apologized for the long wait (hahaha). Menu: Extensive! Great selection of wine, pastas, meats, and seafood platters. All exceptionally fresh! The homemade blue cheese dressing was exceptional too! The linguine was the default, but they are happy to change out the pasta type upon request. Food for thought: If you have a party of 8+ call in advance by a couple of days. They really only accommodate a party this large one table at a time. The restaurant is small. After an amazing first meal, we tried to return. I called the same day (Friday afternoon), the lady was rather rude and told me "We only got one table, Hun, shoulda thought ahead." I asked about coming in and waiting and she provided another disrespectful response. We tried again on Saturday and the gentleman tried to accommodate us better (ie/ 2 tables). Unfortunately, the timing still didn't work out, so they lost our sale. Tried to get sympathy for working past 9pm (staying open just for the current customers). Note they are closed on Sundays and for most of August for a vacation. Worth the visit overall though! We will try again next time we're in town. read more

Tucked in the corner of an unassuming strip mall, at first glance you might get worried but just wait...the food is amazing, the staff are very nice and welcoming and the prices were surprisingly reasonable! They start you with a loaf of bread accompanied with whole roasted garlic in olive oil. The Italian dressing is home made and the Caesar salad and croutons were delicious. My son had the NY strip which was exactly medium well. The Penne pasta with Vodka sauce was one of the best we've had but the to die for was the lazy grouper with a lemon butter sauce with scallions!!!! So yum!!! We shared the shrimp and fries - the shrimp is massive and we both enjoyed the light, tasty breading. We also split a tiramisu and OMG. SO GOOD. As noted in other reviews, the star of the show here is fish. The preparations are excellent and the grouper is actually grouper. Very nice people super friendly and cozy inside. We weren't expecting this to be in a strip mall hence 1 star off. Other than that it was pretty good. Very popular, reservations needed unless you're ok eating at outside tables in front of the restaurant. The food was good but didn't blow us away as the noodles felt like Barilla or something else store-bought, mass made. Had gluten free breaded (with corn starch) chicken francaise and gluten free pasta (penne) with olive oil and garlic sauce and it ROCKED. Drove 16.5 hours to marathon for our honeymoon. while trying to find some good food, We pull up and instantly get turned around at the door. We need a reservation. So we leave and tried to call multiple times to make a reservation. The phone either rings til the cows come home or it's a busy line. Such ashame. Frank's do better. read more

The food was good - but just that. Nice bread, garlic. Oso bucco was good but the underlying rice was overcooked. My wife's Grouper was a smaller portion than we have experienced and was fine. Semi-hidden gem in back of strip mall that really shined from beginning to end. Charming place with small number of tables, quiet enough for conversation and server was attentive and knowledgeable. Between family we had chicken parm, pork osso buco special, ribeye, fettuccini alfredo and all items were outstanding; no room to try the desserts sadly. We sat inside as it was a little chilly but they did have nice live music outdoors. Excellent all the way around! From the garlic and oil dipping sauce to the fresh fish sandwich to the fettuccine Alfredo, it was all fantastic! Our waitress recommended the fettuccine Alfredo advising that it's the best she ever had, and she was not wrong. The sauce was somehow both delicate and robust! We all dipped some of the fresh bread in the sauce! Even my picky 13 year old agreed that it was the best. My linguini with clam sauce was also amazing.
