There's so much I have to say about this place! Amazing experience and very friendly barbers all around. The atmosphere is great, been here 3 times and each time they had really good movies playing. Now time to talk about my cut, it was done to perfection and with a lot of patience. My barber was Manny and I had scheduled an appointment with him. I was his last client and they normally close at 4:40 and my appointment was at 4 so he was kind enough to still cut me up. Manny was excellent from the start. Took his time and was in no rush even though I was his last client. He darkened my beard and my taper was so clean. No other barber has took that much time on cutting my hair. Just shows that he actually cares about the qualities on his cuts and his craft. Once the cut was done, he asked if he could take pictures of my cut and by all means I was all for it. The cut was amazing. He was in no rush even though I was he only client and the shop was already closed for 30mins after he was done with my cut. He really knows how to appreciate his clients. This has been one of the best barbershops I have been to in a while. My son is four years old and Kay has a way with kids. He made my son feel very comfortable and was extremely interactive. He has a lot of patience and skills. His design and braiding skills are amazing. He is a very unique and talented barber. Evaluating all of the barbers they carry a sense of pride and joy when cutting hair. They interact with all of their clients and leave them looking and feeling good. Yes it may be loud at times, however it is a barber shop. Any time my son was brought into the barber shop the television was changed to the appropriate channel without me mentioning anything. That shows a lot of respect to their clients and I appreciate it very much!! I moved to neighboring Claremont a year ago not knowing where my son and I can get a haircut. Tried a few local establishments locally and wasn't very convenience. I'm sure something was missing from my experience while I sitting in the chair. Came across (Upper Cuts) and Leo welcomed my son and I. Decent size shop, cool waiting area with tv's playing and other times music. Really feeling the vibe. My first experience here was awesome. I'm sure I'm usually not their clientele because my hair was around 10in+ long. With that being said they were very easy going and helpful with my longer hair. I've tried different places in the area and I couldn't really get what I wanted but these guys know their stuff! I didn't make an appointment so I had to wait a little longer than most granted I didn't book an appointment so I suggest doing so. I was there with the barbers all working with a small line waiting for 15 to 20 minutes. All in all I'll definitely be coming back next time I need a clean up. read more

This has become my favorite place to come to, before i would go to any barbershop n get a haircut until I came here and realized what a great haircut is supposed to look and feel like. The young men were very nice and funny, they also performed a hot towel shave! I didnt even know barbers still did that! It was very relaxing. Best barbershop in the LA county!, my family comes here for haircuts and its honestly one of the most peaceful environments I've seen or taken my kids to for a haircut. Jerry is my barber and does the best, takes his time and doesnt let you leave until you are satisfied. That being said all the barbers here are beast. I took my kids here for the first time, the barbers welcomed my kids and I right when we walked in. There is a tv and Leo put on a movie to keep my boys occupied while they got their haircut!
