This UPS Customer Center is the absolute worst and they are notorious for their sub par customer service. The drivers are allowed to lie with impunity regarding attempts to deliver packages, when all they do is place a notice on doors and leave. The staff at the center actually hangs up on UPS customer service via the general "888" number. It's very concerning that UPS Corporate has done nothing to address the larger systemic issues at play here. I advise customers, like me, to make it known to your respective vendors how terribly mismanaged UPS logistics are coming from this location and recommend that they utilize another carrier. So I left a review a few weeks ago because my weekly perishable delivery was coming 3-4 days late. Hundreds of dollars of wasted food. I even noted that I was seeing the drivers straight up pull in and out of our circle without delivering packages. That same night after leaving the review 3 and a call to their distribution center trucks were out delivering packages to our 3 buildings for over 2 hours! They had PILES of packages!! I read a number of bad reviews before going to 545 Brush Avenue to pick up a package. I cringed with fear in approaching the location, but, I must have arrived there at the perfect time. I got there at 4:45 PM on 12/6/21 and the 2 gentlemen that were serving at the counter were great. There was no line and 1 of the representatives immediately checked on the status of my package. Within 1 minute he brought the package out, checked my ID against the package and had me sign to receive my package. These employees were professional, and very nice. Was on the line before 5pm by the time I got to the counter it was 5:45p and 2 people before me had gotten off the line. This facility has very bad customer service. I had a package being held at this location and waited until the center closed at 9pm and never received it. I was told by ups customer service that I would be called once it arrived and never recieved a call back. The customer center is now going to be closed for the entire weekend. I've been here in two separate occasions. Once in the evening after work which was a madhouse and the second time Before lunch. I have to say if you have the ability to go retrieve your package before lunch it is a seamless task. TWICE in the last 2 weeks, I had to check tracking to locate my packages, and twice the system info was incorrect. 1st time, the tracking system said the package was delievered. The human on the phone said it hadn't been delivered. The next day, the system info was changed. Package arraived 2 days late. 2nd time, a regular delivery (8-10 times in the last 6 months) all of a sudden needed an apartment # (it's an office!). UPS outsourced customer service promised that the Brush Ave UPS site would call. They didn't. Outsourced customer service promised the package would be delivered the same day. It wasn't. This holiday season, send your packages USPS or FedEx if you don't want a UPS headache under your tree. read more

I called UPS customer service to locate my package. She was not really friendly on the phone with me. She asked me whether or not I wanted my package to be redelivered the following day or I wanted to come to pick up at UPS Customer Center. I told her I would come to pick up. Before I came to this location to pick up, I saw customers' reviews and all of those 1 star reviews made me prepare myself for going to have a negative experience. However, the staff were super nice and friendly to me. There were couple other customers there and they made friendly conversations with all of them. Maybe they changed their employees who brought negative experience to customers. Maybe the staff went through some sort of trainings to improve customer services. I don't know what happened there but overall I was happy when I came there. I don't usually writing feedbacks but this time I make exception because I want employees here know that their service does not go unnoticed. UPS in general gives the worst service I've ever experienced. My package was scheduled to arrive on Tuesday. The only problem was the apartment number was missing on the shipping address. I call my provider who says I need to call UPS to change the shipping address. On two separate occasions, once on my own and once with the representative of the mobile phone provider in a three-way call, a representative of UPS said the shipping address of the package cannot be changed. My only option was to go to the Customer Service Pick Up Location near me. Not only did the representative NOT give me an approximate time to go to pick up the package but they also did not provide me a number to the center... I Google the place and call the number listed with the UPS there. The representative tells me that package is scheduled to arrive at the location still and that they will call me when it arrives. It is almost the end of the workday and at 4pm I call the center again which again says they will call me when it arrives to the center. This time they say they will call me back within an hour with an update. I call back 2 and a half hours later to no one picking up the phone... I decide to go to the location only to find out the shipping address was changed to my home address with the apartment number and the representative refusing to give me the phone due to an alleged new security policy at the center. The UPS representative at the center also did not give me an approximate time of when to expect my package to arrive to the shipping address. So not only did UPS lie about not being able to change the shipping address, not only did they lie about calling me back for an update, they also wasted my time and gas to go to the drop off location for no reason. They also are wasting my money. I ordered expedited shipping for a reason. I was supposed to get my package on Tuesday and now I won't receive it for another 48 hours. If the shipping address could have been changed from the beginning, why lie? This just shows me the leadership at UPS does not know what is going on. read more

I don't live in an multi apartment building, it's a two family home with a shared balcony. I called and asked they reducer as it was my granddaughter's birthday gift, one Supervisor managed to get the request in but about 35 minutes I saw a missed call from UPS center I called it right back and it wouldn't even ring. I called the 1800 number again Spoke to supervisor "Raul" and he said they'd deliver it in the next two business days, I told him, no I was driving out of town and wouldn't be back for a week. He said that's all they could do. So some UPS drivers are LIARS , cheats, thieves and rude and their Supervisors are worse. And the company condones their behavior.I concluded that this is UPS Culture, do the minimum and do it poorly and we, the ones who keep them employed have no rights. Whenever I can, I will be paying the higher shipping fee to have my packages FedExed. Amazon finds my address with no apartment number, the Post Office as bad as they are, also has no problem delivering my packages to my address without an apartment number ,UPS are not that literate. I would give this store 0 stars if I could. They have their own rules, above and beyond the UPS policy for picking up packages with electronics. The representative I dealt with, Frank, was incredibly rude and did not let me get a word in. He said the only way to pick up the package was to show a government issued ID and a utility or water bill with the name and address matching that of the package. I explained utilities/water were included in my rent and offered to show bank statements, online fios bills, or other mail/receipts with my name/address but he said this wouldnt be good enough and without my permission, he shipped my package back to the sender. I spent an hour on the phone with UPS corporate to get this sorted out and eventually got my package from him. Will never ever return. read more
