The service and customer service is so bad. I ordered an item from Amazon then had to return it. Amazon replied return confirmed, ups would be picking it up. I wanted to know when the pick up was so I called ups early in the morning. They could not find any record of my pick up. I called Amazon they put in a new request. Here's were it got ugly. Left home, only to return at 2p and found a tag got. UPD attempted pick up. I called Amazon ups back 3x with no help. On the 4th call, got a live CS rep, asked for supervisor. Was pick on hold for 1hr with no answer back. Multiple call and an hr wait and still I have no resolution on when my pick up will occur. Now 2 days off from work and no pick up. Two unsuccessful delivery attempts with no explanation. Had the package sent to the customer center. Got there and it said closed but call an 800 number. They had me on the phone for 21 minutes. Told me to come back tomorrow. As I was leaving another customer arrived and he knew where to go so I followed him around the left side. There is a table there where you fill out your tracking number and address. Finally someone helped me. This was between 1:00-5:30. Nothing on the door with an arrow or hours etc. so if you follow their instructions you get nothing. I used to love UPS but not anymore. I always have problems with delivery via this center every time I order something really expensive. Two months ago i purchased macbook and even though it was claimed on the website as "tried to deliver" they didn't even try to do deliver it. I was waiting for the whole day but nobody arrived to my house, so i had to pick it up from the center by myself. Recently I purchased iPhone and it was loaded on the track and after that it disappeared and never was delivered. The package was admitted by UPS as lost, but i suspect the right word is "stolen". Very disappointing. I'll try to avoid UPS as much as possible in the future. read more

For the 7th or 8th time in the past two years my package was misdelivered. This only happens with FedEx - other deliveries arrive just fine. I live on a court and around the corner on a street with the same name but drive, not court, is a house with the same number. Stacey the supervisor at the Concord facility hung up on me mid sentence and YELLED the following: "You are going around in circles and I'm not going going to listen to you" I immediately called back in attempt to reach a different supervisor but Stacey answered the phone and once she figured out it was me hung up AGAIN. Let me make this extremely clear I never once yelled or used profanity during this conversation. So she had zero reason to hang up the call. UPS delivered a broken potted plant a week ago. I filed a complaint and a damage report and the manufacturer sent out a replacement plant. ( also a bad customer service experience at the concord facility but nothing like Stacey) Today I received a SECOND BROKEN potted plant from UPS. A plant that held great significance to my fiancé and I and WAS meant for the tree planting service in our wedding. So if anything UPS is going around in circles with awful customer service and pure negligence from their drivers. Stacey if you cant be polite, friendly and respectful DON'T work in customer service! If I can give UPS 0 stars I would. Their service is absolutely incompetent. I have called them 3 times bc my package was stuck in their shipping facilities for 2 full weeks and it has still not arrived. They said I didn't include a buzzer number the first time I called - I have a 24/7 concierge why do they need a buzzer number - I told them to write in the notes that their driver can just leave it at the front desk and they said yeah sure that works. 1 week passed and it still has not arrived. Called the next Monday to ask abt the status of my package - they told me there was no buzzer number...Ok fine. So I give them my buzzer number - the customer service rep took a very very long time but eventually confirmed with me that it went through. Now. 1 more week has passed and it still says address information not accurate on the website tracker so I called in again and apparently the last rep had NOT inputed my buzzer number and the first rep had NOT inputed the comments she was supposed to. This last rep told me that it has been confirmed to arrive the following Monday, but every single rep told me it has been confirmed to arrive so is it really going to arrive. ALSO in the notes it apparently says the delivery guy could not get into the building bc there was no buzzer code LOL. Did the delivery guy not see the concierge through the GLASS DOORS probably waving them inside? And then they decided to just not go to the concierge and instead they leave the building with the package in hand? why do you need a buzzer number?! That's what the concierge is for! Which other delivery service would do this?! - walk inside through the first doors with the package, and then look at the concierge straight in the eye, and then just walk out without delivering the package. What? How? Why? I will absolutely never ever use UPS' service again. read more

UPS Concord hub is in total distress. We, too, have a shipment stuck in the the UPS system for 16 days. Their website is useless and the status of our delivery changes several times in a single day from In Transit, Out for Delivery, On the Truck, Delivering today and nothing gets delivered. We visited the Olivera Street facility and also requested our shipment to be held at the hub to pick up but none of that happened either. After "escalating" 3 times through the 800# and 3 different calls from management I received a call from a manager yesterday who actually acknowledged the mess they are in. Grateful for his honesty; at least we are not waiting every day for a shipment that isn't coming any time soon. Our boxes (which were at one time scanned in their system and driving around on a truck everyday) have now been removed from their active deliveries and showing as "In Transit". The manager offered that means they are now being "warehoused" in one of the 30+ mega trailers on the property "along with 1000's of other boxes in each trailer". Apparently help in the form of more employees from other centers and the addition of Penske rental trucks arrived yesterday. This manager said he thought it would start to improve with the additional resources and increased hours but he didn't have any sense of a time when they would start "dealing" with the mega trailers. This is really terrible management by UPS. UPDATE! Hope springs eternal!!! Out of the blue one of 4 of our boxes was just delivered today by an Enterprise rental truck. I am just glad we were home to receive it. 6-30-20 UPDATE. We gave up. Our vendor shipped replacements via Fed X and are taking responsibility to resolve with UPS the lost packages. My package was delivered to the UPS depot 18 days ago. After 5 days of "out for delivery" and then at the end of the day it went back to in to "in transit"and not receiving my package I went up to UPS to find out what was going on and was told we're taking care of small packages first. When I asked if I could come and pick it up because I need a truck to do this I was told no. When I said small packages are never going to end for being delivered I was told "oh well lady you'll get it when you get it and I really don't want to talk to you about this anymore with you". My package was to "out for delivery" for four days over a week ago. Due to my address being "last on route" it was not delivered. I put it on hold at the facility which took three more days. Now I'm here to pick it up and there's a line wrapped around the building. The lady inside was not helpful when I came to pick it up (it wasn't even at the facility) and told me basically that's just how it works...if I'm last on drivers route to deliver packages and they run Out of time then it could be on the truck for days. Needless to say it had been over two weeks and I'm now in line to hopefully pick up my package in an hour or so. The delivery date was 6/20/20, on my end it showed it arrived at the concord Ca facility on 6/19/20. After waiting for 3 days I switched the delivery to pickup cause I know that hub is screwed up, on the 24th I go down to pick up my package and I get told they haven't scanned it again so it hasn't been set aside for pickup, I'm like "ok cool I can wait till you find it" and was told that they won't do that I have to wait till they get around to scanning it again.........they haven't scanned my package since the 23rd......... this is getting sooooo stupid. The worst customer service that I've ever encountered. No follow through from the driver, zero service from the Olivera Street location and false promises from the the customer call person. I've been waiting for a critical work shipment that requires an adult signature. The tracking shows that multiple delivery attempts over several days, but it doesn't add up. I'm working from home, present all day long to sign as needed. I'm convinced that no deliveries have been attempted. No delivery attempted notes have been left on my door. LAZY LIARS!!! We live in an apartment complex, and waited all day for our package to come. Right after the drop off time the driver pulled into our apartments parking lot. Mind you, our package was 126lbs, so I went out to help the driver. By the time I got to the front door, I saw the driver leaving, WITHOUT.COMING.INSIDE. We saw online "1st attempt made" Bull****! UPS used to deliver to my place since 2013 for about 1-3 times a month. Today, I have a package due for delivery. I was tracking it the whole day, until suddenly a remark came out of UPS tracking site which said the address could not be found or "Wrong Address". UPS delivery people are lazy. If you live in an apartment complex and they would have to take the elevator, they would put insulting remarks such as apartment gate is not known even it is boldly written in the address. Luckily for me my package came out as soon as I gave my address but others in line had to wait around while they located missing packages that apparently didn't make it on a truck or have a designated location in the facility.
