UPS delivery person says they made a delivery attempt. They did not, I waited all day and my neighbor was home all day as well as we have a note that if we are ever not in to leave at neighbors. UPS demonstrated to me this week why they are a distant second to Fed-X . I had a large package due for delivery on March 23rd. We were expectantly called out of town. I went to the Service Center at 3 Whipple Street Nashua NH to see if I could have it held for pick up. I tried to do this through My Choice account and all it did was spin and spin. The woman was nice to me and put the order as hold for pick up. She said they would hold it for seven days. Upon return home I checked the tracking # and found a large triangle and exclamation point stating DELAY! I assumed this was storm related and it persisted for several days . Then a message appeared and suggested I contact the shipper and inquire about starting a claim. I contacted the shipper , that was based in Ohio and they somewhat blew me off saying it was a UPS problem. Then my UPS tracker suddenly changed and said the package was being returned to Ohio. I immediately went to the Whipple Street depot . As I waited in line the woman I originally worked with was working the counter. Well..she must have had a bad day, when I explained the messages I saw she looked at me like i had two heads and said the package . I asked why they did not call me when it arrived like they always have done, She said she didn't have a phone # entered. If that was missing, wouldn't protocol have been to ask? I noted I have a My Choice and personal account with UPS. Said it didn't matter. She sort of tossed my documentation back to me , said I can't help you, go call the shipper. I will be cancelling my accounts and moving to Fed-X. A deplorable display of customer service. read more

Ups has to be the worlds most terrible company. They give a delivery date and then always come up with excuses as to why they can't deliver. I will never shop ups. Unfortunately I cannot stop others from sending me from ups. But if given the choice ups would be last pick. I do not recommend ups to anyone not even enemy's. read more

I requested a package to be held and was charged a fee of 8 dollars for the package to be held on Saturday. I checked to see package had been held on Monday. It was not. I called the horrible UPS 888 number and ended up speaking to an somewhat confused girl. She informed me that the package was out for delivery. I said I asked for it to be held two days ago! She said someone would call me. They did and confirmed the package was out for delivery. They finnally delivered the package and I still have not been refunded the hold fee. Had a package sent to a friend's house. UPS attempted delivery but she wasn't home so I called the 800 number to have them hold it at the depot and pick it up myself. I told them my address on my license wouldn't match the delivery address and they told me that as long as the package was addressed to me it would be okay. Got to this service center and the woman behind the desk said she couldn't give me the package my license address didn't match. Okay I understand that, they don't want to get defrauded. I asked if there was anything I could do short of having my friend come over with her ID. She said I could talk to her manager. The manager (KEN) came out and was terse and then suggested that "he knew what I was trying to do" and that I was effectively trying to steal the package. He basically acted like a total asshole/dick. In the end, my friend came over with her ID and I was able to go home with my package. But, the manager of this place has no concept of customer service. I understand if they're trying to prevent fraud but you also don't accuse your customers of being thieves. Hey Ken ... You know what I was trying to do? I was just trying to pickup my package. I honestly cannot give the two ladies who helped my friend and I with our shipping issues enough praise. They were fantastic. We were looking to ship about 140 pounds of random apartment things to California and had packed three boxes rather poorly. The two ladies at the desk were fantastic at helping us pull our poorly packed boxes apart and repack them with bubble wrap and kraft paper. This process took about thirty minutes, and all the while the wonderful ladies were joking and laughing with us, making us feel as if we were not a burden. They helped organize some of our things into ship, keep, and trash categories, in doing so helping us save some money on shipping costs. We left the UPS Customer Center very happy to have gone. I hope these two ladies read this as we were not able to thank them enough for the help! read more

Packages always delivered to neighbors door instead, even with signs stating where my drop off is

Fedex, DHL and USPS all deliver inside our door per the sign on our door. UPS leaves computers, speakers and all kinds of expensive deliveries sitting on bottom step. They don't even put it on the top step! On top of that they are the only service that regularly delivers my packages to the wrong address. Neighbors have had to bring us packages a few times. Called to complain. After waiting on hold on 1800pickups I gave my issue and info. I received a call back voicemail from the local office telling me to call 1800pickups. What?! I live in a house that has 3 apartments. Ours is #3 and it is in the back of the house. We have the same UPS driver every time and he is a jerk. Last time I had something delivered, he left a note that he attempted, I was home and he knocked on the front door which is apartment 1 and no one was home. I called and stated that we live in the back. I left a note on my mailbox, the next time he pounded on my door so loud my pictures fell off, I was on the phone with a customer and ran down as fast as I could and yelled that I was here, and he huffed and carried the package to the top of the stairs and stated to me "We don't deliver to the door, we deliver to the front entrance!" HE was rude and nasty! Well I have placed another Amazon order and for some reason I am stuck with UPS delivering again, it is a text book that I needed for class on Monday when it was supposed to be delivered. Now mind you, it is the same driver he does our neighborhood, so he knows where my door is. This time he supposedly made 3 attempts to deliver my package but there was no note left. I was home, all three times when I got the notification from Amazon that the delivery was attempted. All 3 times I was home in my apartment. So he is just LAZY and doesn't want to do his job. When customer service called back she stated that it was the regular driver and that he did attempt 3 times and left a note, and that I can come pick my stuff up, but left no call back number and no address as to where I am now supposed to take time out of my life to go pick up my stuff that should have been delivered in the first place! Our concert tickets was misdelivered. My husband received a notification saying they were sent UPS Next Day Air Saver and someone would need to be home to sign for them, so I worked from home today. UPS never arrived. Meanwhile, my husband got a notification from UPS saying that the envelope was delivered at 9:23a to the side door, (no signature). I was home with the blinds open and never saw the truck. I checked the front and side door and couldn't find it. He contacted UPS Customer Care, who said they would alert the distribution center who would contact the driver, and the distribution center would call us within an hour. Almost two hours later, we hadn't heard anything. I called UPS Customer Care and said this. I was told that a note would be added to the account saying that the package had to be delivered today and to contact us with any updates (so you have to call twice for them to do this?). I then searched online for a phone number to this local distribution center. I found the number (603) 860-3066 and left a message for Travis Klingseisen explaining the situation. My husband got a call not too long later from Jody from UPS Nashua who told us that the driver had delivered the package to our neighbor's house - and she gave the exact address. I walked over there and saw our envelope in the door and a UPS package for our neighbor on the porch. The driver did come by later and apologized for the mistake, so that's good, but the whole incident highlights that UPS needs to fix the following: 1) Packages that say they need a signature should be signed for. 2) The driver needs to double check that they're actually delivering a package where it actually goes. 3) UPS should have a direct phone number available to the distribution center with local customer service, instead of having to go through a middleman. read more

I was supposed to receive my package today but of course it got rescheduled...again. This time there excuse was " The street number is incorrect. This may delay delivery. We're attempting to update the address." All my information is correct it's absolutely ridiculous. I spoke to someone on the 800 number and they confirmed all the information they had is correct. She also said because it's after 7pm the supervisor of the distribution center is gone for the weekend and you'll never guess what time the driver added the note that he couldn't deliver my package, exactly 7pm, unreal. I have nothing but constant issues with this ups location, whether it's packages getting delivered to my neighbor's or constantly getting delayed. UPS is a joke. My tracking info showed arrival and departure scans in multiple locations from Pennsylvania to Connecticut to Massachusetts as it was being shipped. After stalling out in Shrewsbury , Mass. (an hour away) for four days it is now in Minneapolis, Minnesota !! and will be arriving a week later than the original date. The lady at the counter in Nashua, NH told me that this item had never been physically scanned in any of these locations. Huh? In fact, she claimed that it had never been to any of those places. How is that even remotely possible? The item number is 1ZA356X7YN44630560 and I was at the counter in Nashua at 11:45am 01/25/2019. This rating is towards UPS and the way they deliver packages as I will never use them again. To start all other shipping companies like amazon and fed ex give customers a day and even a time when to expect their package to be delivered and it is fairly accurate. This helps the customer make sure that they can be there to receive the package and that it doesn't sit outside for hours where it could rain or someone can steal it off the door step or better yet not to be delivered at all. My package left at 9am from its store in Nashua according to the information on the tracking site and took the entire day to arrive at my house (that is that if it actually does arrive today as I'm still waiting for it currently while writing this review) that is 20 minutes away in Merrimack. Now for a package that is very expensive this can be stressful to wait around not knowing when it will arrive and not being able to find out if the truck is an hour away or 8 hours away. Furthermore what is the most upsetting is watching not one but TWO UPS trucks drive by the house hours ago and I'm still waiting for my package at 7pm when they stop delivery at 8pm. The reason why I'm upset and waiting for this package intently is because 450 dollar package is not something I want stolen off my door step understandably and I want them to actually deliver and not take it with them because I "wasn't home". But not only those reason but because the way my previous package was handled I want to make sure my package arrives in one piece. I watched a man without uniform get out of the truck and walk over to my steps as he watched me from the window and threw my package at my house like it was the newspaper knowing full well I saw him do it. I don't want my 450 dollar package to be handled the same way and break because the driver is in a "rush" and doesn't want to care for my package the right way. UPS either learn from your competitors or expect to lose more valued customers like myself as I buy online constantly and know that this is wrong on so many levels. I know that I'm not the only one shopping and there are so many packages that get delivered but come on you can't put them on the trucks that drive by my house twice in the afternoon?! I have to wait all these hours wondering if my package is even on the truck in the first place? If I had fed ex or amazon it would have been here hours ago and handled with care put right next to the door and not throw up the 8 steps on my porch to my house. My items were from GameStop and they might want to rethink about who they use for their shipping if they don't want angry customers returning broken expensive items or angry about waiting for a package to deliver literally all day. read more

If I could give negative stars I would and I hope the arrogant woman I dealt with loses her job after ups conducts their investigation. Ups delivered my package to the wrong address after I had called and caught the error and was reassured it would be held by the driver however they never sent the notification to the driver. Ups customer service had the Nashua nh location call me and I have never dealt with a more rude, arrogant, and immature person in my life. I explained what was supposed to happen and why I can not retrieve the package and was told I was speaking over her and placed on hold as a punishment like she was a 4th grade teacher. Upon being belittled for why I can not receive my package I've contacted ups corporate and an investigation is being conducted and I will take every bit of me to see that you can not do this to another customer again. I am reviewing UPS since I was supposed to rcv a pkg the day before Thanksgiving and pd extra to ensure this woUld happen. While my pkg was out for delivery at 8:49 a.m., I waited and watched ALL DAY and at 5:30 it says it was delivered. I went outside and it is nowhere to be found. I rcvd a call after complaining to the 800# (there is no efficient way to call directly to Nashua, where they could have corrected this error immediately). So, 2 hours later I rcv a voice msg saying the driver left my pkg at a home with a blue pickup truck. I realized the fool had left my pkg at the wrong home and at this point i am fuming, but cannot do anything about it as it is dark out and i am not going to go out looking for a blue truck. The next day my son realizes we can see a home through the woods that has a blue chevy truck in their driveway. Of course, now it is Thanksgiving and the neighbor has not been kind enoigh to correct UPS' error and bring me my package, or leave it in my box. This could be easily fixed if there were a way to reach the guy who called me but I cannot call him back so now my pkg sits 500 yards from my house, was either discarded or stolen by my neighbor, and I am out several hundred dollars while UPS just doesnt care. read more

I honestly am SHOCKED that I was unable to get the UPS center manager Marybeth to call me. I personally have not been to this center but I know it is in Edison and I have called often during my 40 years as a Middlesex County resident. I do not know if this is the same center as the one previous reviewer, Ben D., reviewed. MY experience was and is extremely opposite. Get meds from a mail order company. Called in for a refill and expected the meds. When I did not get the meds, I called the mail order company back and was shocked AND DISMAYED to find out the meds had been delivered the day before. The day before it had snowed. Winds were blustery. Temperature was COLD. Driver did not ring the bell and left the package outside. I asked my husband to look for it. He found it, 32 hours afte it had been left unprotected, outside. Common sense/cents told me NOT to take the meds. Called UPS local center. Called mail order company for a replacement. Called UPS center again asking to speak with the manager Marybeth after a second package, not meds, was left outside and found W E T. The second driver did not ring the bell either. A week has elapsed since the meds were found 32 hours after delivered and Marybeth has NOT called. To add insult to injury, online customer service reps told me that she would call today. She did not. SHAME ON HER. SHAME ON UPS for allowing Marybeth to skirt her responsibiliities and not call. I am commenting on the UPS call center in Edison, NJ. NOW, after posting , I see Ben D visited a UPS center in NEW Hampshire. Geeeeeeeez. In any event, UPS is UPS. Had a terrible, nasty experience with a UPS delivery driver on Friday 1-12-18. My order was supposed to be to me by Friday 8pm. The driver kept driving by my house and one time actually did stop at my driveway at my mailbox which had my name and address on and for the past 24 years I want to add. My husband was at the other end of the driveway waiting for the driver to give us the packages but he got back into the truck and drove off. Then he lied to his boss and told him there was no identifying information for him to deliver the packages and that was a bold faced lie. Our name and address is on both left and right sides of the mailbox. There are medical items I needed in that order so my husband and I were both flagging down the driver me at the front door and my husband was even in the main road in front of our house in the pouring rain and the dark flagging the guy down and the guy did stop and my husband talked to him and my husband told him the house was right here and pointed to the house right next to where my husband was standing. The guy said o.k. and got back in the truck and drove off and NEVER RETURNED. He just drove off and left my husband in the street soaking wet wondering what the heck was going on. Totally a lack of respect and consideration and totally unprofessional. The company I ordered the items from is so unbelievably upset but no where near how upset I am. No one did anything and then I have to wait days longer and supposedly going to get my stuff on Monday. Totally unacceptable. Whatever happened to morals and scruples and professional business etiquette. No one cares any more about another human being and what misery they cause another person. I told the company that sent me the packages that if in the future they were going to use UPS I would order my items elsewhere. I don't need or deserve to be treated like I was treated. read more

This hub works in tandem with both Durham and Chapel Hill. Living in Durham, when one sees packages arriving at this hub, delays are certain. I always opt for expedited shipping, and when packages arrive at the Durham hub, they are delivered on time or earlier than promised. The Chapel Hill hub is quite the opposite, garnering up to two day delays in delivery. My latest instance inconsistency involves a cellular purchase made on a Friday morning for a special Overnight Saturday delivery. Not only was my packaged confirmed delayed on Saturday morning before 9am by both email and UPS customer service, but the package arrived before noon to a facility that is apparently closed on weekends. Not opening again until 3pm the following Monday, I opted for customer pick-up. After calling, another email was sent, changing the delivery date back from Monday to late Saturday night. Having selected customer pickup, an irreversible selection without incurring fees, I am stuck without a phone for now read more
