There's always something zany on the menu, like the Berlin with potato chips inside! I enjoyed the overall flavor profile, but it got a little dry halfway through. If I lived closer, I would be here all the time. I stopped in on a recent work trip after arriving to my hotel. I was starving and had found this nearby food hall, which was walkable so I headed over. The food hall had a couple different options, but the Mediterranean chicken bowl was what sound sounded the most appealing to me. It was so good. The chicken was amazing and had a great flavor to it. My friends and I were looking for a place to eat. We were craving burgers and decided on Uptown & Humboldt. Upon arriving, we were able to immediately place our orders. Food preparation wasn't fast, but it wasn't terribly slow either; our food was ready within a reasonable time-frame. The burgers here are good, but it's nothing to write home about. If anything, I felt that the burgers were overdone - both in terms of having been cooked for too long and having too much garnish. For example, my burger had potato chips sandwiched inside. My burger would've also been drenched in sauce had I not asked to omit the dressing. It's also important to note that Uptown & Humboldt have yucca fries. I love yucca fries. But I don't like yucca fries when I pay $7 and only get 7 yucca fries. Overall, Uptown & Humboldt is a good place to eat. However, I wouldn't go out of my way to try this place. read more

I was last here on April 22. This is their only bricks and mortar location. Their food truck goes to Moonflower Coffee on west Colfax on Sat and they visit several breweries during week. The menu has been reduced. The owner, Gio D took my order. I got the Truffle Manchego croquettes, a Baja Fish wrap, a Pineapple Basil Aqua Fresca and Walnut Dulce de Leche empanadas. The croquettes were very tasty made with Manchego cheese. Plenty of fresh vegetables with hot & crunchy cod filet in a pita. Nice flavor for the Aqua Fresca. I had joined their rewards program several years ago and this time got a free dessert. The Walnut filling in the empanadas was great. Not too much caramel sauce. Zeppelin Station is clean inside. There are only 2 food concepts now, Uptown and Kuro Sushi. I noticed quite a few officeworkers coming by for lunch and takeout. I parked nearby. There is a public parking garage. read more

I landed in Denver with a voracious appetite. I had plans for a dinner after, but needed a quick fix. I'm not even sure what this whole complex is called, but I was fired up that I stumbled upon it. It's one of those areas that you can get 5 different types of cuisines, and then hang out in a shared bar area. What's better than that? After perusing the various menus, the gyro seemed the most appealing. So I sat down, had a beer, and watched Olympic ping-pong while I waited for my meat tube. The chicken (Mykonos chicken?) was impressive. I've never been to Mykonos, but it's hard to imagine this is traditional - maybe because of the fries inside, but that certainly elevated the experience for me. Anytime you get that extra crunch and saltiness, all held together by the pita, you're having a solid lunch. Uptown & Humboldt is a special place. I've seen every iteration of them over the years. From food trucking and meal prepping to hotel brunching and food stalling, these cats have been ALL OVER the Greater Denver metro area sharing their culinary creativity with the masses. You'll be hard-pressed to find anyone kinder and more passionate about the community more than Gio and his business partner, Hayden. The ethos of Uptown & Humboldt stems from their travels around the world and their culinary adventures. The end result is nothing short of damn delicious food. The current menu revolves around their gyros and burgers. You can't go wrong with anything you try. The FMB and Berlin burgers are absolutely delicious. On my most recent visit I went with my favorite order: the Lamb Gyro and Yuca Fries. This combination is magnificent. The lamb tender and the gyro filling. The yuca fries somehow steal the show every time, with the garlic cilantro aioli in th running for most addictive side sauce in Denver. PRO TIP: wash it down with a Pineapple Basil Agua Fresca. It puts all other agua frescas to shame. Splurge on the drink, IT'S BEYOND WORTH IT. If you're at their food stall at Zeppelin Station, you'll be kicking yourself if you don't try anything from their newer tapas menu. The two standouts are the Truffle Manchego Croquettes and the Pistachio Whipped Feta. Just take my money and call it a day. If you find their food truck and they happen to be serving breakfast burritos, order one. Actually order seven. In the breakfast burrito-obsessed world of Colorado, theirs are TOP TIER. These are craveworthy. Like going out in a blizzard craveworthy! I'm one of Gio and Hayden's biggest fans. Last Burger, Best People We showed up at Uptown & Humboldt just as they were closing, and somehow scored the last Americano burger of the night. The guys there didn't just sell us a burger--they handed us a piece of heaven made with soul love and microgreens. Perfectly medium rare, topped with aioli, it was burger nirvana. However, the trickery OR the real MVP? The yuca fries with green sauce. As part of the 50% who hate cilantro, I still devoured every last bit, and then still ate the sauce. I'm still on the search for Denver's best burger, Uptown & Humboldt was pretty tasty but misses the mark to be awarded best. It's aggressively meaty with a 1/2 lb patty, while I prefer 1/3 lb. I also prefer the classic toppings and found the pickled onion to be too overpowering compared to the acidity of a normal dill pickle, and the sprouts were an odd choice when lettuce is both cheaper and better texturally for a burger. Honestly the burger is so beefy that I can hardly even taste the sprouts so it just didn't make sense for me. Yucca fries are fried perfectly though and the sauce is great. I thought the service was friendly and I enjoy how the Zeppelin station casual atmosphere so I would still come back to try maybe one of the gyros, but not another burger. read more

This is our main reason for going to Grange Hall! The ham and cheese sandwich is delicious, and the yuca fries are TDF. Perfectly crispy, and oh so creamy inside! The aioli that comes on the side is YUMMY. So I just recently found out that they offer GLUTEN-FREE BREAD!! And there's no upcharge, which is unusual and very nice. What's funny is that the counter man warned BF that he's never used it before, and didn't know how it would come out, lol. I said that I didn't care, better than puffy allergy face. And worst case, I'll just eat the ham and cheese. It was fine. Little dry, but that's typical. It's reminiscent of the gluten-free bread at Firehouse. Or Snarf's? Possibly the same bakery? Great flavoring all around and their unique tortilla was a great pairing with it. Not to small and not to big of burrito just about right size. I got the lamb gyro, the pita bread was a lil tough and chewy, the lamb was ok on the flavor but very light and the veggies were fresh. Later in the evening I ended up with really bad food poisoning that put me out for a few days and I knew I should have trusted my gut when the first few bites didn't taste right. My last meal in Denver and it was a great way to end the trip! I got the FMB burger and Yuka fries. The burger was delicious! It was well balanced between savory and sweet with the jam. The patty was so juicy, it will get a little messy! The Yuka fries were so crunchy and the dipping sauce really added an extra umph. My partner and I were at a brewery recently and this food truck happened to be outside and it was delightful! My partner had the falafel gyro and I had the lamb and we shared the truffle fries. He liked his gyro but wished for the lamb, lol. I thought the lamb was delicious and the pita was nice and soft. Only thing I wished for was tzatziki vs the aioli on there but it was delicious. I LOVED Uptown & Humboldt, had an overall great experience. I am currently figuring out what food sensitivities I have so I have limitations on what I can and cannot eat, but they were great about accommodating what I was able to eat and making a custom order for me. Turns out they gave me some conflicting information, but overall the service was great and they made it super easy to customize. I also reached out in advance to their IG to ask a few questions about their ingredients to see what I could eat, and I got a response relatively quickly during the work week. The food was ready quickly even on a super busy night before a concert. I don't live anywhere near this location, but I am strategizing on how I can swing by again to get the same order this week because it was so good! I'll definitely be coming back (hopefully when I don't have restrictions so I can eat ALL the yummy food!) Also two words - Yucca Fries. IYKYK! read more

Grabbed a beer and a pretzel burger at the grange hall with my daughter after a hard day of softball. The staff were friendly and we were quickly served. Took about 10-12 minutes for our food and they text you when it's ready. The burger was excellent but a little over salted. The truffle fries were good, but was so over done with salt that none of the other flavors could come through. If I was going to eat here again I would tell them to go light on the salt unless you have a severe sodium deficiency. So first off the place was just what I needed! My bf and I haven't been eating meat(pork or beef) as of the past few months. So when we are craving burgers it's hard to find places that will quench that thirst. This burger truck not only does plant based burgers they also have regular patties as well! So that was a delightful surprise! I got the special which was the fig mushroom blue cheese plant based burger. My bf got the El Americano with the plant based patty with a side of yuca fries. We also shared a creme brûlée cheese cake! My burger was incredible, I'm a sucker for sweet and savory. The fig paired excellent with the blue cheese and sautéed mushroom. The bun I believe was ciabatta and the plant based burger itself was seasoned great and the textured really gave that ground beef feel. The side of yuca fries were fried perfectly and cook throughly . My bf loved his Americano but one bite of mine and he was wanting more, I didn't share tho because I wanted it all to myself! The creme bruLee cheese cake was yum! It was on the sweeter side which I didn't have a problem with but my bf could only have a few bites( I have a bigger sweet tooth), still something everyone should take a bite of! We found these guys outside of the Green Mountain Beer Company, which is a marriage made in heaven. Drink great beer, and get a couple of burgers. I had the Fig Mushroom and Blue (FMB) burger while BF had the Gyro. The FMB was great, the jam is very sweet, which is a little disconcerting, so the blue cheese counteracts that. But you have to really like blue, as that becomes the dominant taste. The Gyro was good, not epic, but solid. Only wish I had was for them to get those little pager things restaurants use. It was cold and snowy and after dark (early March) when we ate here. I hated being all warm, having had a relaxing beer, then having to freeze in the snow waiting for food. One of those pager things would have let me go back inside until the food was ready. Or take phone numbers and text people when their food is done.
