My friends and I were looking for a place to eat. We were craving burgers and decided on Uptown & Humboldt. Upon arriving, we were able to immediately place our orders. Food preparation wasn't fast, but it wasn't terribly slow either; our food was ready within a reasonable time-frame. The burgers here are good, but it's nothing to write home about. If anything, I felt that the burgers were overdone - both in terms of having been cooked for too long and having too much garnish. For example, my burger had potato chips sandwiched inside. My burger would've also been drenched in sauce had I not asked to omit the dressing. It's also important to note that Uptown & Humboldt have yucca fries. I love yucca fries. But I don't like yucca fries when I pay $7 and only get 7 yucca fries. Overall, Uptown & Humboldt is a good place to eat. However, I wouldn't go out of my way to try this place. read more

I was last here on April 22. This is their only bricks and mortar location. Their food truck goes to Moonflower Coffee on west Colfax on Sat and they visit several breweries during week. The menu has been reduced. The owner, Gio D took my order. I got the Truffle Manchego croquettes, a Baja Fish wrap, a Pineapple Basil Aqua Fresca and Walnut Dulce de Leche empanadas. The croquettes were very tasty made with Manchego cheese. Plenty of fresh vegetables with hot & crunchy cod filet in a pita. Nice flavor for the Aqua Fresca. I had joined their rewards program several years ago and this time got a free dessert. The Walnut filling in the empanadas was great. Not too much caramel sauce. Zeppelin Station is clean inside. I landed in Denver with a voracious appetite. I had plans for a dinner after, but needed a quick fix. I'm not even sure what this whole complex is called, but I was fired up that I stumbled upon it. It's one of those areas that you can get 5 different types of cuisines, and then hang out in a shared bar area. What's better than that? After perusing the various menus, the gyro seemed the most appealing. So I sat down, had a beer, and watched Olympic ping-pong while I waited for my meat tube. The chicken (Mykonos chicken?) was impressive. I've never been to Mykonos, but it's hard to imagine this is traditional - maybe because of the fries inside, but that certainly elevated the experience for me. Anytime you get that extra crunch and saltiness, all held together by the pita, you're having a solid lunch. From food trucking and meal prepping to hotel brunching and food stalling, these cats have been ALL OVER the Greater Denver metro area sharing their culinary creativity with the masses. The ethos of Uptown & Humboldt stems from their travels around the world and their culinary adventures. The end result is nothing short of damn delicious food. The current menu revolves around their gyros and burgers. You can't go wrong with anything you try. The FMB and Berlin burgers are absolutely delicious. On my most recent visit I went with my favorite order: the Lamb Gyro and Yuca Fries. This combination is magnificent. The lamb tender and the gyro filling. The yuca fries somehow steal the show every time, with the garlic cilantro aioli in th running for most addictive side sauce in Denver. PRO TIP: wash it down with a Pineapple Basil Agua Fresca. It puts all other agua frescas to shame. Splurge on the drink, IT'S BEYOND WORTH IT. If you're at their food stall at Zeppelin Station, you'll be kicking yourself if you don't try anything from their newer tapas menu. The two standouts are the Truffle Manchego Croquettes and the Pistachio Whipped Feta. Just take my money and call it a day. If you find their food truck and they happen to be serving breakfast burritos, order one. Actually order seven. In the breakfast burrito-obsessed world of Colorado, theirs are TOP TIER. These are craveworthy. Like going out in a blizzard craveworthy! I'm one of Gio and Hayden's biggest fans. I'm still on the search for Denver's best burger, Uptown & Humboldt was pretty tasty but misses the mark to be awarded best. It's aggressively meaty with a 1/2 lb patty, while I prefer 1/3 lb. I also prefer the classic toppings and found the pickled onion to be too overpowering compared to the acidity of a normal dill pickle, and the sprouts were an odd choice when lettuce is both cheaper and better texturally for a burger. Honestly the burger is so beefy that I can hardly even taste the sprouts so it just didn't make sense for me. Yucca fries are fried perfectly though and the sauce is great. I thought the service was friendly and I enjoy how the Zeppelin station casual atmosphere so I would still come back to try maybe one of the gyros, but not another burger. read more

I got the lamb gyro, the pita bread was a lil tough and chewy, the lamb was ok on the flavor but very light and the veggies were fresh. Later in the evening I ended up with really bad food poisoning that put me out for a few days and I knew I should have trusted my gut when the first few bites didn't taste right. We were in town for one night after a long trip. I walked to the food truck at Danico Brewing and ordered two falafel gyros. They were AMAZING! It was easily the best food I'd had in weeks. The falafel was super flavorful and we gobbled down the gyros in no time. We also ordered the yuca fries on a whim. I am currently figuring out what food sensitivities I have so I have limitations on what I can and cannot eat, but they were great about accommodating what I was able to eat and making a custom order for me. I also reached out in advance to their IG to ask a few questions about their ingredients to see what I could eat, and I got a response relatively quickly during the work week. The food was ready quickly even on a super busy night before a concert. I don't live anywhere near this location, but I am strategizing on how I can swing by again to get the same order this week because it was so good! Grabbed a beer and a pretzel burger at the grange hall with my daughter after a hard day of softball. The staff were friendly and we were quickly served. Took about 10-12 minutes for our food and they text you when it's ready. The burger was excellent but a little over salted. The truffle fries were good, but was so over done with salt that none of the other flavors could come through. If I was going to eat here again I would tell them to go light on the salt unless you have a severe sodium deficiency. So first off the place was just what I needed! My bf and I haven't been eating meat(pork or beef) as of the past few months. So when we are craving burgers it's hard to find places that will quench that thirst. This burger truck not only does plant based burgers they also have regular patties as well! So that was a delightful surprise! I got the special which was the fig mushroom blue cheese plant based burger. My bf got the El Americano with the plant based patty with a side of yuca fries. We also shared a creme brûlée cheese cake! My burger was incredible, I'm a sucker for sweet and savory. The fig paired excellent with the blue cheese and sautéed mushroom. The bun I believe was ciabatta and the plant based burger itself was seasoned great and the textured really gave that ground beef feel. The side of yuca fries were fried perfectly and cook throughly . My bf loved his Americano but one bite of mine and he was wanting more, I didn't share tho because I wanted it all to myself!
