Given a warm friendly welcome to start a great visit. Interesting food choices that all hit the mark. Service was fast and attentive.

They split the meal for us with a great sweet welcome - Ozark style (kindness without even having ti ask)!

Made it back in recently. A visit many years ago had food so "meh" that my husband called it "that tator tot place" after. Not a compliment. This time I got their smoked & fried turkey sandwich with a side of brussels and both were really good. Probably the best brussel sprouts at any local joint - I think the vinaigrette and little sweet peppers tame the natural funk enough to make them crave-able. Great flavors in the sandwich too. Of course, I had a flight or beer, so half the sandwich and a few sprouts went back home. Hubby polished it off with compliments, so no longer the "tator tot" place. Been in twice more since. Service at the bar has been excellent 2x and ok the third. The beer selection is great, even including some AR beers outside of NWA that I had not heard of. Beertenders are knowledgeable about the pours. Only notable downside is the price points. I know everything is high, but $11 for an 8 oz pour of a higher ABV beer is out of whack. I don't expect airport prices at a local joint. Happy Hour is 20% off, bringing our 2 pours to "only" $17.60. I don't know how you would know the price of any beer before ordering, so buyer beware.

I found Uptown on Yelp and was super stoked to try it. This seemed to be a cool place when we first walked in. The restaurant wasn't too loud with a comfortable vibe, an impressive tap list and a decent menu. The server was friendly but not very visible. The restaurant was pretty empty when we arrived with only the booths taken and one other table. Sadly, it took OVER an hour to get our food and when we did, the Mac n cheese was cold. Like, super duper cold. By that time, several large tables were seated AND served...Since our server was nowhere to be seen we couldn't send it back - and after sitting over an hour while stopping by on a long road trip, my husband ate it anyway. The Brewban was a good Reuben. The kraut was tasty and the portion enough to share. My son got the Philly Cheesesteak and tots and he ate it all. The timing of the food (we were over an hour late getting to our destination), inattentive server, and the skillet mac contributed to the rating. I'd love to give them another try if we lived in the area, but wouldn't risk it while on the road. The server comped the skillet Mac without being asked, but honestly we just wanted hot food served hot.

I'm new to the area, thought I would check out a few places. Uptown Kitchen is one of them. I sat at the bar and was shocked to see so many beers on tap! I had no idea what to order. Josh, my bartender suggested that I try the "flight" of beer! I got to pick five beers so, I picked ones I'd never had before. I ended up adding a cider to my flight. I got totally hooked on the Black Apple, Hibiscus!! - I will for sure go checkout the brewery!! - I'm a vegetarian, so I ordered the Mushroom Impossible Burger w/ fries. It was freaking great! I went back two days later and ordered it again. lol!! Not even joking! So good! [[HIGHLIGHT]]I found my new place to hang out![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I come here for lunch with my friends occasionally and it's always great! They have a great selection of appetizers that are perfect to order a few and share. I tried their skillet Mac the last time and it was yummy! Great beer and wine selection and great service!

Really wanted to like this place. Walked in at noon when they opened and ordered a beer, got the beer maybe 4 minutes later. Beer overflowing everywhere on my coaster. Whatever no biggie. Watched 6-8 diff groups come in and end up leaving cause they weren't receiving service. My drink has been dry for about 10 minutes now, a couple came and sat next to me at the bar and ended up leaving cause they weren't being acknowledged. As I'm typing this I still haven't tabbed out and I'm like half tempted to just up and leave. Phones ringing nonstop. No one is answering it. How does this place seem to only have one bartender? read more

The beer options was amazing! The food was pretty good, too. It took forever to receive our second beers, probably over 20 minutes. The waiter kept coming by and saying the bar was behind. I'm sorry, it doesn't take 20 minutes to pour a beer! The waiter did make it right by not charging us for our entree. I will give it another try. read more

My husband and I went there after a long hike. We wanted cheeseburgers and beer. And that is exactly what we got. They have a HUGE selection of beer with around 100 taps. Tons of local beers too! Mon-Fri local beer is 20% off too! We both ordered cheeseburgers and loaded spuds. My husband ordered the bromance and Philly cheesesteak loaded tots. He said his burger was full of flavor but he would've liked a little spice. The prolly tots were delish. I ordered the chili cheese burger with Buffalo bleu loaded tots. The chili cheese burger was filling, I could have done without the top price of bread haha. The Buffalo bleu tots were good too. The restaurant is small but I liked it. Parking is easy. Prices are a tad higher than other places but the flavor makes up. The burgers come medium well but mine was medium. Not an issue to me, but may be to others. I'm excited to try other food from their menu. read more

I came here on a Friday night in the middle of summer with a friend - and the experience from start to finish was all around incredible. First off, no wait! I normally expect to wait at least half an hour on a Friday night, but was thrilled to find an open table outside immediately. Norm was our server and his customer service was above and beyond. I ordered a 5 oz beer, and when I liked it so much, he let me upgrade it to a 16 oz at no extra charge. Also, at the end, the tab read different than the menu. I told him it wasn't a big deal, but he gave me a $2 off token to use for my next visit. He was attentive throughout our dining experience and checked in frequently to make sure we were doing okay. He also asked us our names and sat and talked with us a little. It made the experience so personal and he was truly one of the best waiters I've ever had. On top of the amazing staff, the food is phenomenal! I had an orange and honey beer that I fell in love with. I also got the pretzels with beer cheese as an appetizer and the fried chicken sandwich with the buffalo bleu fries. Everything was incredible. I will absolutely come back here and recommend it to my friends. So glad I found this gem in Rogers! read more

Wanted to try a local place while in town for the LPGA event. This place did not disappoint. The staff helped my husband pick out a beer he loved (they have over 100 to chose from). Had the Buffalo chicken dip and shared the Bromance burger. Loved both. Highly recommend this place. Get there early on the weekend. It fills up. Will definitely return next time we are in town. read more

My second time here and had a very good experience. I enjoyed the Philly Cheese steak and my boys had a burger and grilled cheese. The GC was Texas toast and American cheese, so about par for a kid's meal. Otherwise the food was excellent. The cicerone (beer expert), Mason P, made recommendations that were spot on and all excellent. I had a small flight so got to sample some of the areas small batch offerings. read more

Hmmmmmm, so many good things to say about this hidden gem; I'm not sure where to start. Ok, so let's start with as we entered. We were greeted, promptly seated and a brief menu intro. My husband and I were amazed to see the amount of beer selections from tap and bottled/can. We ordered an appetizer; fried brussels sprouts, fried pickles and loaded philly cheese fries. Can I say... DELICIOUS!!!! So let's move on... the main entrees Bromance served on a bun with a burger, carnitas, bacon and onion ring with a special sauce. Omg!!! Then I had the nerve to order the brewben. Corn beef, sauerkraut and 1000 island dressing. At this point we're stuffed from the appetizer and beer. The entree's were a nice size that can be shared for two. This is my new go to place because the entire staff and food was beyond AWESOME. Thank you Brady and Alex for a great experience and true quality service. Good grief I went here on a date with my husband tonight and I kid you not I had one if the best burgers I have ever had in my life! I accidentally found it on the menu and it intrigued me. It was a burger that was topped with cream cheese and marmalade. One good thing about growler USA is that you can choose how you want your burger to be done. I chose medium and it was made absolutely perfect. The cream cheese was not overwhelming and it had a little bit of raspberry marmalade in there that gave it a little bit of a sweet and salty taste. I have never had a burger like this ever and it was absolutely delicious. It came with tater tots. My husband got some sort of loaded pork nachos and he loved them. Definitely what it says it is - an Uptown Kitchen and Taproom. The number of beer choices could make your head swim, but that also means you're very likely going to find several beers to chose from. The Fried Chicken Sandwich was definitely our favorite as the chicken was very crispy yet moist and tender. Good place for elevated pub fare! read more

We are from out of town and looking for something a little different and more casual, this did not disappoint. The brewben was huge and delicious, the chicken philly was huge and delicious, the mac and cheese was huge and delicious, the HALF order of chicken nachos was huge and delicious. The beer selection was mind boggling. The servers were great. What is there to complain about? Nothing! We will definitely visit again. read more

Really great spot with a huge beer and cider selection. We went on a slow weeknight, but I bet the place could really be hopping before an AMP show or on a weekend. The menu is long, so just tell the bartender what you like and he/she will have plenty of recommendations. They have outdoor patio seating. read more

Came in to hear a local favorite, Will Brand, play on a Friday night. This place is a fun local spot to try new local brews. Ordered the kids chicken strips for our daughter and they are cooked beautifully. Most restaurants don't care about their mini patrons meals and serve burnt or under cooked food. Not Growlers! I ordered the ahi app as well as the brussel sprouts from the special winter menu. YUM. My husband ordered a burger which never disappoints. I highly recommend for a casual cool laid back and entertaining evening. read more

The food was picture perfect, however, the taste was far from it. I ordered chicken and waffles with a request to have the eggs scrambled. While I did receive my correct order with my special egg request, the meal disappointed me greatly. The eggs were bland and unseasoned, the chicken tenders were fried to perfection but there was no taste to them at all. The saving piece for this dish was the waffles, crispy with just the right amount of sweetness. However, the waffles couldn't even help me finish my meal. I was so excited to try this restaurant but I'm left with disappointment and a horrible taste in my mouth. read more

Uptown Kitchen + Taphouse is a locally owned and operated restaurant dedicated to craft beer. With over 100 beers on tap and a menu chock-full of comfort food favorites, you really can't go wrong stopping in with an empty stomach and the thirst for a cold pint.

Meet the Business Owner: Seth M.

With a strong entrepreneurial spirit and a love for interacting with folks, Seth saw the opportunity to do something new and did so by opening the Uptown location in Rogers in 2017. He looks forward to maintaining a laid-back space where folks can enjoy local craft beer and warm hospitality for years to come. In 2020, Seth broke away from the franchise to become 100% independent locally owned, and operated.

I also happened to go into the brewery on a Thursday where there are select $3 beers. When you arrive there is plenty of parking in front of the building. The vibe feels cozy, chill, and woodsy when you walk in. I ordered the Love, Dolcita which is a double hazy ipa with flavor notes of honeydew, tropical, and juicy. Well Yelpers, I've found my new fave Northwest Arkansas restaurant! TBH, I wasn't sure what to expect when I arrived. It looked like a modernized restaurant with an open kitchen. I opened the door to the restaurant and waited to check in and a handsome young boy asked if I had reservations and I advised I didn't and he asked if I wanted to sit indoor or outdoor. He grabbed a menu and helped me to my table. I was quickly greeted by a staff member and given a glass of water and was told that there isn't an assigned server but that multiple staff members will work together to attend my table. After eating American and Italian food all week on my business travels, I was craving some authentic simple home cooked food and this location brought me virtually home for dinner. For those of you that know me or have been following my review journey, have gotten to know my household ethnicities. When I saw the House 1830 Menu, it was a delightful mix of Vietnamese and Laotian food! The color purple was present from accent walls by the kitchen to my cloth napkin on the plate sets, to the "seasonal" menu font color all tie together with staff uniforms including the outdoor purple umbrella above the outdoor seating space. They even have custom pillows on the bench seating with the House 1830 logos. Susana, one of the owners came to greet me and asked if I've been here before or if it's my first time. She shared that her husband Binh was the head chef today and many patrons typically think it's a fusion restaurant but it's really a family inspired menu that keeps the food as authentic as possible. Binh is Vietnamese and their sister in law Bé is Laotian. I didn't have the pleasure of meeting Bé as she was celebrating her birthday elsewhere as she should. Susana shared that her contribution is the inspired cocktail menu...which had so many yummy options that you don't see anywhere else. They had a Lychee Martini on the menu but I see it often everywhere so I ordered the Longan Martini to try and it was delish! I started with my roots and ordered a Vietnamese House Sampler described as a sampling of the crowd favorite starters. Cha Gio | Mini Banh Xeo | Bo Xien Tam for $21. The eggrolls were crispy and had the right amount of filling well seasoned, the Bite-size Banh Xeo shrimp crepes was light and the flash fried marinated beef skewers were seasoned to perfection with a family marinade. Lettuce, cilantro, mint along with the various nuoc cham (dipping sauces) were great! I didn't want to fill up as I wanted one of my favorite Lao dishes Nam Khao - Crispy red curry seasoned rice combined with small chunks of cured pork, and spices. It comes with lettuce, mint, cilantro where you can eat it like a lettuce wrap or eat it as is like fried rice for $18. This light entree for me hit the spot. The staff was exceptional, occasionally stopping g by to check if my water was ok or if I needed anything. I went to check out the bathroom to wash my hands and thought the wall murals were trendy and happy to see the restrooms were clean. I stopped at the open kitchen and complimented the chef and his staff on my delicious meal. They were very cheery and thankful for the compliment. Went back to my table and contemplated another cocktail or dessert but I was really beyond stuffed and figured I'll be back and to save options for my next visit. Chef Binh stopped by my table and we started talking about a little of everything. The restaurant concept, the seasonally inspired menu and to keep things fun for regular diners, shhhh....you didn't hear it from me...but there's even a secret menu that changes often! We ordered a couple appetizers (wish they had fresh spring rolls in addition to the fried ones), and my husband had the Crying Tiger Steak, which was mouthwatering (though pretty fatty/gristly -- could've used a tad more butchering). Both the appetizers and my husband's steak came with specific instructions from the server of how to eat it properly: first put this on it, then add this, etc. It's not my favorite when chefs tell me HOW to eat their food. Can I just eat it? And figure it out for myself, how I like it? We aren't from Arkansas, and from what I can see, House 1830 is not a typical local restaurant, which is great. The manager kindly said he was going to comp our entire meal after taking the cold items back and agreeing they were indeed cold when he felt them in the kitchen. To be clear, we weren't there for a free meal. We were there for an upscale dining experience, with food that justifies the prices. We had seen on yelp, the chocolate cake, my husband's favorite. He wanted that to go so we figured what we assumed would be a descent tip, plus $20 for the $18 cake to go (so $70 cash). The server, Brandy said, after accepting the cash, I can't comp you the cake (she'd already offered me comped desert while my husband ate which I refused). I said, I get that, I just handed you $50 for tip plus $20 for the cake $18 cake. Then, the manager stopped back by to check on us and she brought the cake (with a box of rolls? No thanks!). I'm stunned by how the conversation with the 4 of us transpired. I feel as if the kind manager was misled by the server regarding what had taken place with us earlier. The conversation ended with her putting the $50 bill on our table and leaving, which obviously was not at all what we intended. I honestly, along with the manager, wanted the situation to end as kindly as possible. All of this to say, I saw 2 other tables send their food back. This issue is in no way the servers fault, and definitely not the fault of the front of the house manager. This is a kitchen issue that should definitely be addressed.

We had a party of about 13 and we had an excellent experience here for lunch. This was our first time here and we'll definitely be going back. The food, beer selection, atmosphere and service were excellent. Our server was one of the best that we've ever had anywhere. He was very welcoming, friendly and efficient. We had a 4 year old along with us and our server interacted with him all the while , pointing out hidden objects on the wall murals, which he loved. The only negative thing that I'd say is to watch out when you buy the flights of beer. Each little beer is priced individually, which I've never seen before. 2 of the 5 oz. beers on my flight were $8.50 each (and those were 2 that I ended up hating) and my flight ended up costing more than my wife's meal and mine put together, making it the costliest beer I've ever paid for in my life. read more

I got the Big BLT and husband got the Bacon Cheeseburger. We were both a little disappointed at the small amount of fries we received with our order, especially when paying $11 for a BLT.
