Our table ordered 2 Razor rolls. I asked at end of meal to put 1 Razor roll on my ticket and the other, on a friend's. They put both on my ticket. We were seated quickly, about 5 min. Waited ~15 min before our drink order was taken and an order of fries submitted. No fries ever arrived. I however, was not charged for them. The waitress announced she was training and helping out the waiter. No problem. I ordered a beer sample, sample took 10 min to arrive from waitress training. At this point I'm understanding. I ordered one more beer sample from waiter not in training, and the sample took 15 min to arrive. Ordered beer with same waiter, waited 15 min and received wrong beer from a random staff member. Flagging down waiter, waiter confirmed it was the wrong beer. I then received another beer within 20 minutes of the wrong one, and discovered it was again, not the right beer. By this time, I already have my food. I took the second wrong beer to staff member manning the bar. I told her the beer was not the right one and recommended they should check the keg to ensure it's connected to the right tap. A giy at the bar piped in and said yah, that definitely doesn't look like Left Hand Milk Stout. She disappeared into the back room and I could see her essentially complaining about me through the door's windows. She came out with our waiter and they were all huddled speaking about me. The huddle scenario was a common theme the entire night; contributing to lack of attentiveness. I explained that by this time I had already paid my bill which means I paid for a beer I didn't order. We arrived at 7pm and food came at 7:55. I eat here regularly; not sure why the service tonight was so inattentive, carless, and slow. Hope it's not repeated. read more

Came here for the first time the other night and enjoyed ourselves. We brought our infant daughter and did not feel out of place like in other bars/taprooms. I knocked off a star because 3 things I tried to order the kitchen was out of, I understand shipments could be delayed but it seemed like they were out of a lot of items. I ended up panicking not knowing what I wanted and just went with a salad. Partly my fault but I did not leave satisfied. The beers and ciders on tap were nice, very good selection. I had no idea that the food menu here is so legit!! I had the Ruben*sp sandwich with a side of brussel sprouts and ah! I can't even find the words. And the loaded fries/tater tots... oh lawd!! It was A GRAND MEAL...if not for the fact that I was out for a business lunch... I might've had a beer or two. We have been looking for food in Arkansas that actually has spice and flavor. On a whim we brought the family to dinner while in Bentonville, and we are happy to have found some really good food. The dining area was well kept, the bar was huge with taps for a mile! It wasn't crazy packed which was nice, and helped with prompt service. The kids had chicken tenders which were marinated and juicy, the crust actually had great flavor not just greasy flour. I had the inferno burger which was really good, the patty was crusted but juicy. I would suggest to the restaurant to use a queso sauce instead of sliced and this burger would have been out of this world! Beer lovers - this place is for you! Uptown has a huge beer selection, and all of the staff will work with you to find what you like out of the huge beer menu. Over 100+ selection, and the taps go on for days (local craft beers, non-local craft beers, traditional beers, ciders, not sure what to call them drinks, high-gravity, etc.) Uptown also has trivia for those who like something to do while they sample and dine. Before the pandemic I was going weekly & it was so fun! Their food is the last item I highlight because it's pretty standard bar food - some options, but nothing that'll knock your socks off. The pretzel bites have changed over the years and are no good, the BBQ burger is pretty solid, the chicken & waffle doesn't have a lot of flavor at all. If you're a beer aficionado, this is a great spot for trying wonderful craft beers from around the USA! Been here a few times and always ordered A sampling of their variety IPA's on tap; I like the Bike Rack and Ozark local brews particularly. But you have so many to choose from you'll have to come try some out yourself! And supporting another favorite of mine, I've ordered a couple of New Belgium (Ft. Collins, CO) seasonal types they have as well. For food, good apps to go with a cold brew, so I've had both Buffalo wings bone-in and boneless. Both were good, and I really liked how tender and meaty the boneless chicken strips were, yum! Our last two visits to Uptown Kitchen & Taphouse have been amazing! They have truly stepped their game up in the kitchen, their new menu is absolutely fantastic. I highly recommend anything with one of their waffles. Seriously...the best waffles ever! And of course they have the best selection of craft beer in NWA! My husband and I were pleasantly surprised with the precautions that Uptown is taking during the COVID pandemic, too. If you want to make sure you that you are dining in establishments that are putting their customer's health and safety first, then you will be pleasantly surprised at the extra effort Uptown is making to keep you safe. Every menu, pen and credit card tray is sanitized every time it is used! The level of effort that the host put into cleaning, made us mistake him for an owner! The server was super attentive and knowledgeable about all the craft brew to offer up suggestions. Since they do a 6pack flight (5oz glasses), I let him pick for me. He brought my flight with a printed list of my 6 samples. Start where the blue tape is then drink around clockwise. I can't even tell you how many different beers they have on tap. 75? Who knows. It's the length of the entire wall behind the bar. The queso with carnitas mixes in was good, especially served with crostini (another server recommendation). I had the beer battered chicken tenders. I selected a flight of local & regional beers their flights have 6 beers. Friends enjoyed their local favorites. We started out with the Loaded Sidewinders beer battered fries with a peppered white cheddar cheese sauce, thick-cut bacon and avocado truly delicious! My friend enjoyed the brat sliders served with Pilsner sauerkraut and beer mustard, her husband the fish & chips and I enjoyed brewben but with turkey, the turkey was delicious oven roasted. The food is some of the best food in Northwest Arkansas. So stopped in for the first time. After reading all the reviews I was excited to try it out. First off the atmosphere is casual and they have live music on a Thursday night. Shaun Munday playing some jazzy/blues guitar. Nice entertainment. The beer selection was impressive. Almost anything you could imagine. The menu was a typical twist on bar food. I ordered a burger with bacon and apparently Bbq sauce. The sauce was cold and placed on the burger so heavy that eating it became a challenge. The burger itself was nothing special. Actually it looked way better than it tasted. I will definitely return for beer or entertainment. Don't think I will return for food.
