Loved it all. The customization is a fun feature, but I was most happy with the hangover pho since it has most of what I like in my pho. I got my order to go and the plastic container is actually large enough to fit both the ingredients and the broth into one container. It's also convenient that they have a separate tray on top to keep the noodles from getting too soggy. Not that big of a deal for pho, but for the ramen I had delivered, it was great. Both the beef pho broth and the tonkatsu broth were really good. Can't vouch for authenticity, but definitely delicious. All the meats I've tried (chicken, chirashu, flank, round and meatballs) were good - especially the chicken! This will be on my regular rotation. read more

Realistically, I'd give them 4.5 but I'm rounding up. This is the best ramen I've had in Tallahassee. The katsudon is also very good. I'm there 2-3 times a month. Pho was sooo good. Even when I got it to go! I would definitely go back when I need a pho fix.

My daughters and I decided to give this new location a try. I got the Combo Pho and they got Poké bowls. Sorry I didn't get all the pics. The Pho was very fresh. The broth was good even though I'm not a fan of cilantro in my soup, which I understand is typical. I've only eaten Pho one other time and it's been awhile. This isn't for the faint hearted, especially If you haven't tried a wide variety of meats. This Pho contains tripe and tendon which would definitely scare off my husband who is a much less adventurous eater. My daughters loved their bowls, especially the picky eater who only likes teriyaki chicken. They accommodated her taste buds with a side of eel sauce, which she likes very much. The restaurant was decorated nicely. Lots of tables in the narrow space, but they made it work. The staff was knowledgeable and the food came out promptly even though it was very busy. read more

Tried Ur Bowl on a whim when I was craving pho. Food was absolutely amazing. I had the combination pho with a Thai tea. My wife had pho with tofu, which she said she liked very much. Terrible service for a takeout order at 1 PM on a Wednesday. There were only a couple of customers waiting for an order. I was just waiting for a Poké bowl and an appetizer but 25 minutes later my order still hadn't come out. The wait staff looked like they were twiddling their thumbs, didn't bother to apologize for the inexplicable delay or say anything about why orders weren't coming out. The Pad Thai is the best I've had in any restaurant. The Pho is delicious also. The serving sizes are large.

I am particular about ramen. I don't believe Japan does everything best, but I have had some pretty darn good ramen there, and also an Izakaya themed place in Atlanta. I am open to anything that looks good, though. Unfortunately, seeing the name on the first Ur Bowl on Tennessee turned me off (Is it bad text speak, "your"? "Ur", like the ancient city? I hoped the latter, but doubted!). However, when I saw one in Kerry Forest, and that reviews showed assembly looking a little better than Midtown's, I decided my husband and I had to try. We haven't tried theirs yet, though. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We chose this location because we don't care for the college area, but it ended up being surprisingly dirty outside with litter falling out of a trashcan.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The interior felt nice, though very informal. I really liked the wood tables and beams, and little glass windchimes chiming in the fan, very nice for summer![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It's been a month, so my impression of the food is not as fresh. We ordered veggie spring rolls, and they were good and nicely fried. We made our own ramen. I ordered mine with spicy miso, straight noodles, fried tofu (can't recall all of the veggies). I was surprised when learning the tofu is fried with shrimp. I'm not terribly picky about oil sharing with some meats, and I might be weird, but shrimp is one of the worst things to have shared oil with. But, I don't care for tofu soft, either. Fine! I did taste the foul ocean bugs a little, but I tried to not think on it. Definitely need to improve this, though, as some are very allergic (thank goodness I was warned. Hopefully this is always done). The noodles were alright, and the soup even more heavy on the miso than expected. I'd try another soup next time. My husband got a tonkotsu soup, and he liked it alright. I took a sample and, while I'm not a fan of meat, obviously, it was too porky in a way I found a little amateur. I'm sorry to the one who designed it! But some soups soften this. I think I liked his wavy noodles better than mine. My husband always hopes for a lot of green onions on top with a decent amount of other vegetables, but this was a little light. Aesthetic/assembly was alright. It sounds silly, but a good looking bowl feels much more appetizing. My husband had a melon boba. He liked it, but probably wouldn't go there just for one. The employees were nice, and the guy with dark, curly hair was especially helpful. I am not sure I'm looking as forward to the competition, but I am a little curious now about who will win the battle for best Tallahassee ramen. Probably mine at home. XD read more
