Came during graduation weekend and had the hardest time finding somewhere to eat without a long wait time, but at Ur Bowl, we were able to order right away. I loved the banana black milk tea because the flavor came through so strongly. But my family was not a big fan because it was too artificial for them. The poke bowl was awesome and although they don't allow an unlimited number of toppings like most places do, they do allow you a decent amount. The fish is not as fresh as I remember, but for the price, it's very worth it. The ramen was delicious and it's great that you can customize it in so many ways, including in types of noodles. But I will say, only the preset bowls come out looking very pretty. If you create your own bowl, everything just disappears under the broth. (still delicious though!) Excited to find out Ur Bowl will be opening at Kerry Forest in February 2024 so I had to give this location a try. Unfortunately, the food was mediocre. They no longer have the fresh summer rolls on the menu so I opted for the fried spring rolls. They tasted very bland and something you could get in the frozen section at your local grocery store. The pho broth was bland as well. They don't provide sriracha or hoisin sauce unless you ask. Be prepared to douse your pho in both. I also got the Thai tea boba which did not taste like thai tea. It tasted like a powder mix with water. Service was friendly, efficient and the restaurant was clean. They have tons of outlets on the wall if you want to study or do some work here. I'll probably give the Kerry Forest location a try and get the poke next time but wouldn't do a do over on the pho or ramen. read more

I love this ramen spot! I started coming here a few years ago and I've been hooked since. Today I came it with my wife and I had a make your own bowl. I always get the shoyu broth as my base. I had the shrimp tempura, chicken and Naruto (fish cake). I added seaweed, onion, jalapeño, and scallions for flavor. I added the marinated as well because it gives the bowl a little kick. I love this place. Both locations are good. They are bright and clean and the food is top notch. I am a sucker for a big bowl of Pho and Ur Bowl always delivers. Every time I go, I promise myself that I am going to try something different and then I see the house special Pho and that's what I want. I like to go for lunch and get away from work a little bit. It's not like the fast food places where you just eat in your car and go back to work. It's actually a good mental reset to go in and sit down to a meal. read more

We were pleasantly surprised by the amount of toppings they offered on the poke bowl, as well as the affordable price and the fact that they didn't charge extra for avocado or other toppings! The staff assisting us was pleasant but between the soft voice, the mask, the massive plastic shield hanging down and the loud music in the background, it was not easy ordering. The food itself was actually quite good. Our group had the Cherry Blossom bowl - it was really good! A chicken poke bowl that was also very good. A tofu poke bowl that was also very good. And a few orders of pan fried Gyoza. The food was all prepared very well and was out to us fairly quickly. I would definitely go there again - but I suggest removing some of the barriers to communication when ordering. read more

Poke, ramen AND pho all at one place?? I'm in heaven! I love coming here for fresh, tasty poke. My husband had the pho here for the first time, and he loved it. He was particularly happy about the fact that he could pick what meats he wanted in his pho. I guess that's why they call it "Ur Bowl" because you can really have all your bowls, your way. They also have boba, and lots of yummy appetizers. The place is very clean, the walls have very cute decor, and the staff is very polite, friendly, patient, quick, and attentive. This ramen has fried onion, porch egg, two pieces of charshu, baby bok Choi, black sesame oil and pieces seaweed. The soup base was well cook. Not too salty. The charshu was light pan fried to crispy. The entire bowl has harmony and work together. Sometimes I like icicle veggies to be included. The order came out quick. When it's even a little chilly outside, there's nothing quite like a bowl of ramen or pho. Well, Ur Bowl has both (and poke)! It didn't take me long to land on it for lunch while in Tallahassee. I ended up going with the tonkotsu ramen. You can build your own poke, ramen or pho which is pretty cool, but being my first time, I went with one of the standard creations. They offer an array of appetizers, but I knew the ramen would fill me up so just ordered a Thai iced boba tea on the side. The ramen came pretty quickly and was a nice big portion! I tried to eat it all but in the end, left a few remaining noodles. The broth was really tasty though! The Thai tea was the one thing that let me down. The consistency of the boba pearls was way too mushy. Turned me off of the whole drink. It's a fast casual concept so you grab a menu and hop in line. There's plenty of seating for parties of all sizes. They have wifi and I even saw some people doing work, since there are pretty big tables. Sweet tooth? Reading the 1star reviews for entertainment! Apparently their parents made the ramen in a cup and told them it was authentic cuisine! I've eating here several times and the staff were always pleasant and very informative and the food was excellent. Ok so what makes me a better critic those people, I lived in Korea for one year and Japan for 6 years so I've had a lot of ramen let alone different kinds of noodle dishes and this place reminds me of my tours overseas. Paid 40 dollars for 2 Tonkatsu bowls and boba tea which is pretty standard but compared to ramen I've had in the past, that have been priced the same, this simply does not compare and is definitely not worth the money. In the area this might be the best option considering (as far as I know) Tallahassee doesn't have many ramen options but overall not worth the money. Restaurant itself was also very hot and in the dish some noodles were not cooked all the way through including the pork which was cold upon arrival. The ingredients in the bowl were also obviously not high quality and overall totally not worth the money. I would've paid 5 dollars for this bowl and nothing more. read more

Overall I do love this spot because it has the best poke I've had in Tallahassee. There is a few thing I'm not a fan of though. I tried out the strawberry smoothie with boba and it taste more like cotton candy than strawberry so I wasn't a fan. I asked them to remake it with the jasmine tea and mango flavoring and still wasn't a fan so I just decided to leave it how it was. The soy chicken and pork are delicious and the spicy tonkotsu was a good amount of spicy and I inhaled it all even though it's a big portion. Generally, I am not a fan of boba because I've tried it with different flavors at different places. My friend got the regular black tea and milk with the pearls. I had a sip not expecting much but it is the best boba tea I've ever had. The pearls aren't chewy at all almost melt in your mouth texture and the flavor is amazing even though it's simple. It tasted what I expected boba to taste like before I tried other places. Service is great the cashier helped us out with ordering since it was our first time. 4.5/5 stars; as an Asian American who grew up with great noodles, I'm glad this place exists in Tallahassee. It's clean, spacious, and the food is good, if not on the pricey side. Love how you get the option to make your own ramen, and they have a decent number of boba options. I've had it at least a few times and the boba is cooked well all times. The soup bowls are a good size and fill you up. The tonkotsu isn't 100% authentic Japanese style (this is slightly thinner, more mild broth with very thin slices of pork), but it still tastes great. Service is pretty good, you place an order, take a number, and wait at whatever table for your food. Doesn't take longer than 10-15 minutes max; boba usually comes out first. I prefer this spot to Midtown Noodles. read more

Wow. If you want a super delicious, craving satisfying, warm and hearty bowl or ramen or pho, this is the place. I started off by palpitating an order of the pork bun with a friend and it was unique but delicious. The bun itself was soft and doughy, and the meat had a nice caramelization to it. Together, it was reminiscent of a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, which I know sounds weird and unexpected, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. There were so many options for the build your own bowl, I'm really glad I went with the option of the tonkotsu ramen bowl that was already formulated with the right toppings for me. Everything went so well together, and it allowed me- the first time visitor- to try everything and realize what I liked and what I could pass on. (Though honestly I wouldn't change a thing about it- other than the thing I did change which was to get chicken instead of pork since I already got to sample the pork in the bun.) They also made mine spicy upon request, and I will never go un-spicy because of it. I tried my friends miso ramen and if you are under the weather in any way- that's the one to go for. It's warm and soothing. The Boba tea was not my favorite. I enjoyed the tea portion- though it was very sweet- but the texture of the boba was a bit softer than I had expected. read more

I was visiting Tallahassee from the North where there is plenty of Pho and Ramen and was v nervous about what I was going to get. Luckily Ur Bowl did not let me down! I ordered the Tonkatsu Ramen and one of my friends ordered the Miso Ramen. Both were so delicious. They have the option to make yours spicy which I highly suggest! If you don't want their level of spicy you can also add sriracha or chili oil yourself after you get your meal. There was SO much food in one bowl. The noodles were perfectly cooked, the pork and egg that come with it were great. I will definitely recommend this place to my friends in town. Parking is easy peasy which is something I took for granted when I lived in Tallahassee. I will say, I got some milk boba tea bc I love boba and it wasn't the best. The milk tea itself was very tasty, but the boba was a little soggy, maybe in there for a little too long? I'd still give it a try because I freaking love boba, just keep in mind it might not be the best. Also the workers there are so great! They were super nice and answered all the questions I had.
