UPDATE... I took my second car here for a simple oil change last week...It is a 30-year-old "Classic" Pontiac and I desperately needed an oil change... The guys took my car right in, but scoffed at it...The one very boisterous guy yellingly refused to even get into it to drive it the mere 20 feet into the garage bay...Those cars caught on fire, he said...Actually, only about 100 in the 400,000 made did - and Pontiac remedied the issue immediately...They had four guys looking at the car with one more underneath - and they wouldn't stop making fun of it..."I can't believe these pieces of sh*t still exist" and "What a hunk of junk" were only some of the comments I overheard... They tried to up sell me with a car wash and when I refused, they got upset...This is a show car and only gets hand washed and waxed...They also popped the hood looking for the motor - and its in the rear of the car...But the most outrageous comment came when they claimed it to be needing a power steering flush...THIS CAR DOESN'T HAVE POWER STEERING!..The guy also didn't understand why I changed my oil more frequently than the 5000 miles he recomended...Its a 30-year-old car with 36k miles on it - do the math... When driving home, I heard something fall off of the car...My mechanic said it was only a heat shield, but either way, I'm not happy about it... They must be set in their ways, as all you see here are brand new Acuras and Infinitys...I will not bring any of my cars here again... read more

I've been avoiding this place for a few years and yesterday decided to try again-$23 for a silver level car wash and I had to clean the inside of my car when I got home!! Totally not worth it! Dust on my dash, dirty windows, dog paw prints on my back seat-don't waste your money! read more

I had my SUV washed on 9/26. I thought this car wash would be top notch considering where it's located. Prices were certainly higher than others I've used in Wayne and Totowa, but no big deal....until the end. My SUV came through pretty clean, but the attendants at the end couldn't care less about doing a good job. First they don't even blow out the excess water, so when you drive away you have water streaks all over your vehicle. Second, they didn't even attempt to dry the roof. I had to call the crew chief over and point it out. He proceeded to make some effort to dry it, so I told him to throw me a towel and I would do my side, which he did. A paying customer should not have to pay $24. and do the work. Lastly, the interior windows weren't even cleaned. My dog's nose prints were still on the windows in the back. When you have a crew chief that doesn't even pay attention to what type of job his crew is doing, it clearly shows he doesn't care at all about the customer. Also, why would his guys care if he doesn't? I would never recommend this place, nor go back. Total waste of money. read more

Both locations have been great for our 14 Infiniti Q50 and 13 Honda Civic for both washes and oil changes. The service at Franklin Lakes is always quick yet thorough and I really like having the different scent spray options with each wash. The guys do a good job drying the car once done, I haven't experienced a problem like others have. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 as it is and can be a nut house on Saturdays or after work on some days. Good that they're busy but bad for me as its often the only times I can go and it gets annoying. A few times it was so bad I didn't get the car washed and that's never preferred. If you can go outside of popular hours, you'll get the great service at a fast speed. read more

Look... Is it the BEST car wash? No. No automated car wash is as good as a hand wash. And I don't love you can't get the highest wash (Platinum) as a monthly unlimited. That being said, getting a monthly unlimited plan, in my opinion, pays off if you go regularly. One.. It's going to be cleaner than it was before. Two... How much time am I saving? I know a lot of the times I didn't wash my car was because I simply didn't have the time (parents, you understand). And three... They'll vacuum the inside, though not the best, it's better than it was before. Again, you can't expect the level of clean of a hand wash or detail service, but being able to wash the car whenever I want and have the inside vacuumed of the various snacks and junk my kids have left in about 10 minutes is worth it for me. read more

I've been going there for many years, even before it was yuppified to "Spa", and my recent experiences have been disappointing. When I want my mats washed, I'd like them washed. Today they ran a hose over them and installed them wet, with obvious salt stains left all over them. The last time there, the inside of the windshield had dried towel marks that I had to remove myself. The prices have become unreasonable, as well. The attendants at the register aren't particularly adept at public relations, either. I'm done. read more

Went to get an oil change this morning. I was advised by one of the service technicians that the oil did not need to be changed as yet. So he offered to top it off. He asked if I wanted it was washed and I said yes and showed him my val pak coupon. I asked if it could still be used as oil was only topped off and he said yes. So I thought I was getting a bronze wash for free, however, the cashier informed me that I needed something from the oil change area. So I went back to to the young man and an older man who appeared to be in charge (?) asked what was going on and I explained. He told me I could not get the free car wash because I didn't do an "oil change:" The young man walked over with me to the cashier . While I was being rung up the other older person from the oil change area came over and made a scene about me NOT getting the free wash. He embarrassed me as well as the cashier. He actually took my coupon and told me to save it for next time. I was not doing anything other than trying to pay. I have four cars that are brought there on a regular basis for oil changes and washes. Because of this man and the nasty treatment I received, I will no longer be bringing my business there. On top of all of this the "bronze" wash was awful the car was dirty inside and I tipped decently for crappy treatment and cleaning. read more

Took my car there for a brake job $750.00 latter breaks don't work and they can't fix them. They disconnected a safety feature.

Used to be a great car wash. But over the last two years the attention to detail has declined rapidly. I don't often use car washes I prefer to do it myself. One of the reasons why is I like my car clean completely. The last three times I've went there when the car comes out the other end there is still has dirt streaking on the paint. Especially the lower half of the car. The men Wiping down the car must be using dirty rags. And they walk away even though my dark gray car is showing dirt clearly on the paint. When I get home I have to spray bottle and we wipe the whole car myself to get it right. I wouldn't mind this if it was a $10 car wash. But at The prices they are charging the car should look show room fresh. read more

$25 for the "Silver" package and "it doesn't include wiping dust from the doors". Want them to "spend a little extra time cleaning the carpet and mats"? It's a $10 up-charge for the "Super Vacuum" service. This place is a total rip-off that takes advantage of the locale. Use one of the 10 other places within 5 miles that provides twice the service for half the price. read more

This auto spa is FANTASTIC!!! Yesterday my son had a big huge doggie poop issue in his back seat. Around 4:00! The car smelled awful and the cloth seats have doggie diarrhea all smoothed in! He was devastated! I said no worries I will get it taken care of! That said every place I called said too late, no they wouldn't deal with crap etc...but I just drove right over to urban auto spa and the head honcho took care of it...no worries! I asked what the damage would be...he said its gonna cost you...I said ugh please don't kill me...we both had a laugh and the he seriously quoted me 35$! I'm telling you, I was prepared to spend well into the hundreds!!! And they were super friendly on an extremely busy busy time!! I recommend this spa to all!!!! The Franklin Lakes location used to be my go to place for year. Recently the service prices have gone sky high, the service is poor and you basically end up spending $20 for an exterior wash. One of the gentlemen who dry the cars recently pulled a piece off trim off of my 2 month old car and the manager offered to replace it. When the price of the Porsche door trim was too high they tried to reneg and was rude and abusive. I will NEVER go to this place again. I would suggest there are much better car washes in the area that do a better job and appreciate their customers! read more

Horrible is the best word that describes the service here. Took my car and got the VIP package. Car came out looking like i took it to the local grade school fundraiser carwash. They didn't even clean the entire dashboard! You could easily see where the wiped and didn't wipe. The armrest were totally ignored and windows left with streaks. Great detail service my car looks brand new and it is 12 years old. I spilled my coffee with chocolate in it all over the console and floor and seats. All gone now. It's beautiful. I've had car service done here and they are great. The service was fast and friendly. I will keep coming back for sure. Great oil changes and more serious auto needs are done here. I don't even want to give it one star because service and cleaning were absolutely awful. Paid for the Platinum wash and windows were left filthy, dash and console not touched and outside was not very clean. I went at 10am on a Sunday, only one person in front of me no one behind me until my car was completed by the final crew that do what? Not much. I spoke to the manager who told me sorry but the cup holder costs more money. He then asked one of the men if they cleaned the dash and he replied"yes". Even though it was still filthy, maybe wiped over by a dry dirty cloth with no cleaning agent at all. So the manager said "Sorry he said he cleaned it". And walked away. Wow I have never had such an encounter with a manager before, it was very disturbing to be so dismissed. I am not one to complain and in fact, would have said nothing except that my friend, who recommended the place told me I had to go back, because she goes regularly and was very embarrassed referring me there. read more

They're also Jiffy Lube affiliated, yet don't accept Jiffy Lube coupons. What's the deal with that?? Oil changes are still pricy compared to others around. I just paid $24.99 (second highest wash) to have my car washed and they didn't even touch the inside. Mats are still full of salt and mess, same as when they came in. Cupholders and seats were untouched. The gentleman working said the only time they clean mats is when you get the Platinum Wash. Seriously? By the time I got home the outside didn't even look like it had been washed. Waste of money. Will not be returning. I wash my car regularly and there are other establishments that do a better job for less. My family owns a car wash out of state and this wouldn't be acceptable. read more

I've lived in Franklin Lakes for over 20 years and have been going to this car wash for the past 13 with my current vehicle. For this second time they have BROKEN MY CAR KEY and refused to replace it, blaming it on me. Even though the car has been started thousands of times, both times the key broke was in their carwash (hardly a coincidence). Their manager Scott was exceptionally rude and refused to even offer any compensation, and said the issue was entirely my fault. On top of that, as a member of their wash program, within a week of your birthday, you get a free wash, this was 7 days before mine and they refused even after this, as it needed to be 6 days before (as their cashier begrudgingly told me).
