He deserves more than 5 stars! Finally I found my hairstylist after trying a lot of places. However I walked in today, I asked for Ricky, the lady who cut my hair said he is sick. If it wasn't a special occasion(my birthday), I wouldn't take a risk and wait for Ricky. I asked for half fade, specifically not all the way to top, and blend the rest. She did the half fade first, my back was looking at the mirror I couldn't see, I thought that she was blending the rest but booomm number 2 all the way to the top. I didn't want her to touch the rest and mess up more . I thanked her and paid. While I was leaving I asked for Ricky s number to the lady ( I assume she is the owner) she said they r not allowed to share employee s number which is totally right and understandable. I wanted to leave my number for him to contact me. she asked me "why?". I said I ll text him Cuz I heard that he is sick. She said " No, he is fine". She didn't let me to leave my number. That was so rude! You wanna know why I wanna contact him, lady ? I didn't wanna take another risk for shitty haircut for the next time. I didn't say it cuz I didn't want to embarrass the other lady who cut my hair in the shop.. Try to be nice to people.I m not going back again because of her rudeness. But I highly recommend Ricky. The place is clean, the staff friendly, and the haircuts are good. I try to stop in whenever I need a haircut. However, one small word of warning: the place is cash only. They have an ATM on site, but it's one of the more expensive ATMs I've ever used -- the fee is $3.75 (and my bank then charges another $2.50 on top), so I have to add an extra $6.25 to my haircut price. :( They don't have any signage up saying, "Welcome to 1964, we're cash only," and finding out -after- you've gotten a haircut leaves you only the option of using their expensive machine. Also, NGL.... it is 2025. I've seen buskers with signs that accept card. Nobody carries cash anymore, and there's no legit reason to not accept cards. Pass that extra 3% or whatever on to me, it'd still be cheaper than the ATM fee.
