I love a good food hall and urban district market did not disappoint! It has such a cool vibe with food stalls, a small convenience store and gachopon machines! There are so many good food options here! My favorite is stuffed, there have all types of dumplings! And Bop Bop doing a spin on traditional Korean food! I have had the make my own bimbap from Bop Bop and it's delicious! There are so many vegetables and proteins you can add to make the perfect bowl for you. 10/10 Also have tried the chili edamame from Stuffed. It was a bit too spicy for me since they've changed the original recipe but still good. 8/10 And I have had a variety of dumplings from here as well that were all delicious.

I love, love, LOVE this place. Finally got a chance to try out Rangoon Sushi stand, and OMG this is the best sushi Charlotte in a while. Say this because the rolls were on point and so delicious. I had the Crispy Crab Rangoon Roll (yes, crab Rangoon as sushi) Twilight Roll (no shiny vampires, #teamjacob all the way) and Dynamite Roll, and they were all so yummy. Service is always friendly, and ambiance of urban district just lay back chill and family oriented. There are many new stalls, but noticed appeared to be closing. I really hope that this Hidden gem will not succumb to be ridiculous rent increases that Charlotte is experiencing. So as always: Buy Local Support Local #notanotherapartmentbuilding

Great food choices! It's a great place to bring the kids as they have a big play area, service was great! Will be returning.

This is a great food hall! Lots of good choices for you to check out. There's plenty of seating available and the place is very nice and modern. I recommend the Japanese food place, it was great! Lots of free parking available, I would highly recommend coming here when you're in Charlotte!

This food hall is fun. You can get some basics and some much more interesting dishes. I loved the upside down Christmas tree! I was so happy to finally try Tanglo or whatever it's called. It was at the bar cafe. It was good like a candy coated apple. Splatter paint is next door which was fun!

This is one of the newer markets in the area. While parking is free, there aren't as many available spots and you have to walk a few minutes. I wasn't sure what to expect once I got inside. It's much smaller than Optimist. And most of the food stalls are Asian themed. With that being said, there are definitely some things that see this market apart. There is a grocery area and a bar. There are also entertainment areas for kids. There are water refill stations, although the provided cups are really small. I opted for a Korean Stone Bowl which was really good. I'm not a big eater and I was able to finish the whole thing. It's a cute spot for a meetup with friends. But if it comes down to food options, I would probably opt for one of the other food markets in the area.

What a great food court serving some great ethnic cuisine. All kinds of different choices. Korean, Indian, Mexican, Italian, Japanese plus a great bar to go with it. I was impressed with how clean it was too. Nice casual place with an attached Asian market where you can shop for all kinds of things. Lots of seating inside and outside. We had several drinks at the bar as we had a big group. Everything was served freshly made no batch stuff! Great cocktail glasses. Also really loved all the great cocktails they had on their list. Also serving beer and wine. Loved all the fresh bar ingredients too. We tried the aperol spritz which came very photo worthy with a little bubbly bottle in it . The yuzu beta nectar, cool cucumber, melon monster, titanium tiki, spiked bubble tea, watermelon matrix , spicy watermelon mass and their their espresso martini. All really good and served in their unique glasses. Service at the bar was also good . Food wise we had a slew of different things everyone went and got and really enjoyed it all. I personally tried the Indian stand and the Italian. We had the miso truffle mushroom pasta. I liked this but the miso was a little strong. But the mushrooms and truffle flavor was good. Good size portion too. We had the samosa chaat from Indian and this was nice and spicy and very filling! Also the chicken momos, and spicy peanuts and spicy noodles, Dahi puri and chilly potatoes were all really good. Great flavor, spice level, and plentiful. Also in our group we tried the quesadillas , chicken katsuya sandwich, ramen... so much variety. Theres something for everyone here for sure. We spent a terrific Sunday funday here. Great food and drinks in a great casual environment.

Soooo....good to check out for sure. Asian inspired food vendors. There's also a small Asian grocery. Not that big comparitively considering Optimist Hall or Monarch Market. But if you have small children it's really cool that they have a play area. I got schezuan veggie mushroom dumplings which I thought were delicious because I love spicy food and they are super spicy. My friend got the steamed which she thought were really bland. Gotta get drinks from a vending machine for $3.00, soda bottles, juice bottles, and Aquafina water. We wanted something sweet, but not much available in the dessert arena. Plenty of seating even for groups. Decorated nice for Christmas (great for pictures). Probably wouldn't go back but everyone should check out for themselves. Just not my cup of tea.

Not as packed and not nearly as overwhelming as the Optimist Hall but Urban District has free parking (not limited to just 90 minutes). Not as many vendors but still a great way to spend an evening. When we arrived on a late Sunday afternoon, there were a few families with their kids playing in the bouncy area and having a good time. We did the loop, checking out the food vendors before making choices. A cook-to-order butcher, Mexican, burgers, Asian-fusion pasta, dumplings, ramen and a large Asian packaged food market with coolers of wine, sake, beer and soju plus omakase and sushi. Hard to choose but we did. With drinks and food ordered, we found a comfortable table. Most of power outlets and there is a free wifi. It's a nice space and I can see if becoming quite busy and fun. We'll return. [Review 2098 of 2024 - 3767 in North Carolina - 23117 overall]

    Beef udon with egg

First time here. And I must admit: I want to try everything. I was a little overwhelmed. But here's what I ordered., Beef udon soup which is really good., Veggies steamed dumplings but I got Kim chi instead: wasn't my favorite. Fried pork and veggies dumplings which I like Chives pancakes with shrimp and squid; this wasn't my favorite at all. It tasted off. The seafood doesn't smell fresh and it went soggy very quick. Tuna and eggs onigri: this is a nope, very dry. Rice doesn't seem to be done cooking. All and all there wasn't much customer and vendors interaction: you go to a machine. Place your order and pay. They will text you once it's done.. place is spacious, every clean and a good big area for the kids to play at. A bar for you to buy a drink or two made by a bartender. A cooler full of fun drinks So give it a try.

This was a pretty neat spot that I came across when visiting my brother. It has many different foods for anyone that wants to get their grub on. I was surprised with how kid friendly the place was too. I loved that about it! A lot of indoor play areas for the kiddos while parents and friends can come together to grab a bite. I recommend stopping by here if you're also in the mood for a beer or Asian food too. They had a lot of Asian cuisine to pick from.

Aesthetic: Hip food hall with a variety of great food vendors, coffee, bar, and a great little to-go market. Experience: I had a little too much fun at the market when I tried this spot for the first time. Their Japanese market was super impressive, and felt like going to 7-11 in Tokyo. I was so excited with the variety of Japanese sandwiches, snacks, sweets, and onigiri, it's super unique to have this selection in the US! We tried the egg salad combo sando, tuna mayo onigiri and spicy mayo onigiri, and they were all delicious! I'd honestly eat here everyday if I worked nearby. Conclusion: This is a must go food hall, I highly recommend adding it to your CLT list!

I've been here more than a few times per my check ins, so it's time for the review. I think this is a great addition to the Noda area. Urban District Market promotes community, fun for family and a place to eat, WITH coffee. I personally do not drink coffee, but I know that's an important factor for people. They have family events, brunch buffet, a play area for kids, a lovely selection of overseas treats. The diversity is off the charts. That's how you start to breed community in Charlotte. Of course there's also a bar for adults. This is also conveniently across from Seoul Market. I personally do ni like Seoul but it is convenient for those who do. Which is ALSO where the kid-free speakeasy is located. The location is prime. Very cohesive for those who visit. In the same vicinity as other vendors of variety such as fitness, boutique retail, and beer. It's approved in my book!
