She was knowledgeable about the menu, gave excellent recommendations, and made sure our food and drinks arrived quickly and exactly as ordered. Her positive attitude and attention to detail made our entire dining experience feel special and memorable. It's rare to find someone who goes above and beyond the way Lily does. She truly made our visit to Yoshi Ramen enjoyable, and it's one of the main reasons we'll be coming back. If you're dining at Yoshi Ramen, I hope you have Lily as your server. She'll make you feel valued, well taken care of, and leave you with a smile. Outstanding service all around--thank you, Lily!

With it being my first time back in Fort Mill after sometime, I was ecstatic to see this place show up. Upon entrance, the elevated honeycomb seating on the right immediately caught my eye and I knew I had to sit there. The staff was polite in greeting me and provided recommendations after I sat down. For a drink, I decided to try the POKKA Oolong Tea, which was a toss up on whether I'd enjoy it. It was delicious and settled perfectly with all the food. For an appetizer, I decided to get the Tokoyaki which came in a solid portion and tasted great. For my ramen dish, I opted for a house favorite, Spicy Garlic Ramen with a level 2 heat. The whole dish was a perfect balance of tasty topping, well cooked noodles, and a delicious broth. The pork was so tender and of good quality. All in all, this place has such a wonderful atmosphere for grabbing some food by yourself or with friends. The small plates make for perfect sharing and the seating arrangement breeds a feeling of togetherness so often missing from dining experiences. The staff was so kind and helpful, and I even got to learn a bit about the beauty of Indonesia.

Absolutely disgusting. One of the filthiest restaurants I've ever seen. Some of the worst food I've…read moreever eaten. The littered parking lot and dirty front door should have told me to not walk in. But, I thought maybe I was being too "judgy" and plucked up my courage. Since They billed themselves as Asian fusion, I was hoping to see some unique Thai, Korean Japanese, etc offerings. I asked the gal at the front counter for suggestions and she recommended French fries. Fries are your best dish?!? She couldn't answer any of my questions about the rest of the menu. Strike 1. A phone call came in while we were discussing the menu and she took it. While she was on the phone, I noticed all the upcharge signs. A 4% charge for using a credit card. A charge if you want a chili oil. A charge if you wanted a cup of water. A charge saying all sauces are extra. Strike 2. I finally settled on one of their "Fan Favorites" - a pork ramen bowl. Paid (no, I'm not tipping you for taking my order) and sat down. The tables all looked really dirty. But I couldn't tell if it was dirt or rust. I sat down and immediately noticed dozens of dead bugs in the dust on the windowsill. They were on the floor, too. And they were flying all over the place trying to get out of the windows. Maybe I should have followed their instincts and tried to get out too. Strike 3. I picked up my dish when the buzzer rang (Seriously, WHY are you asking for tips?). First impressions were that it looked really bland. Basically a bunch of wet noodles and a half of an egg and some sketchy looking meat rolls. I dove in and it was just pure salt. No other flavors. Salty AF. Tried the meat. It was supposed to be "fatty pork" and it didn't disappoint...in a bad way. Stringy globs of inedible fat. It was so gross, I dumped it all. Strike 4. While exiting, I looked at the other diners meals. Most of them had the fries. Maybe I should have taken the cashier's suggestion...

I've been chasing good, authentic (or nostalgic?) Chinese food, and I finally found some while visiting the area. The space is bright, open, and comfortable. The menu is wide-ranging with lots of Asian options. They have carts if you'd like to get items that way. We ordered off the menu. We took a ride share, so I'm not sure about the parking situation. The area is walkable. Love: General Tso's chicken (sauce as I remembered, crispy, fresh), fried rice (cooked just right), Boba tea (delicious) Like: service (kind, helpful, left without checking on us one last time with the check)

I visited Open Rice at Metropolitan with my daughter on August 15 after seeing several influencer…read morevideos promoting their dim sum cart. Unfortunately, the actual experience was nothing like the hype. First, parking is a nightmare. I would seriously add an extra 20-30 minutes just to find a spot. Once we finally made it inside, we waited another 30 minutes to be seated. After sitting down, it took close to another 30 minutes before anyone came to take our order, and then roughly another 30 minutes for the food to arrive. So you're potentially looking at well over an hour and a half of waiting and inconvenience before you really get to eat. And the dim sum cart that brought us there in the first place? We never saw one. They did have a dim sum menu that we could order from, but that was not the experience being promoted in the videos we had seen. The food itself was just okay. Nothing was terrible, but nothing justified the hype or the amount of time and hassle involved. If you've had good dim sum in places like New York, Toronto, Los Angeles, or San Francisco, this isn't remotely in the same league. Between the parking, the long waits, slow service, missing dim sum cart, and average food, I genuinely don't understand the crowds. Hard pass for us. Once and done.

Decor and bathrooms were nice. Service was great. The food was very good- I enjoyed the starter we got: Tiradito Nikkei- it wasn't at all what I was expecting for a ceviche but it was delicious nonetheless. I got the salmon entree and it was fantastic- I inhaled it. My boyfriend got the sirloin dish and it came out veeeery rare (he ordered medium rare). We could have asked them to cook it more, so no harm there, but the meat was very chewy so he didn't enjoy his meal as much. I got a pisco mule and that was delicious, I love the cups and plates they use- very aesthetic. Would come back, but I do prefer the restaurant Yunta a bit more for the same type of food and atmosphere.

I think the sauce was a little bit over seasoned but overall the dish was good. The ambiance of the the place is really nice. Dim lighting, darker decor. Definitely a great spot for date night. My only suggestion would be to space the smaller tables out more. It's very tight. The service was good too. I didn't like the first spot we were sat at & upon asking, they moved us without issue. So I appreciate that consideration. I only got a pic of my meal, but we also had appetizers that were good too.
