I enjoyed my visit. They started a Happy Hour (HH) for food and drinks this week and I'm glad that I came. I believe the HH specials are Tuesday-Thursday. I had a Moscow mule and a coconut margarita which was good. The Birria cheesesteak was very meaty and flavorful, consumé was seasoned well, and the fries were fresh. I didn't have to wait long for My food and the customer service was good. I was very happy that they have a parking lot with Free parking. Who was going to tell me about this place?! We stopped in on a Saturday for lunch and were pleasantly surprised. The staff were very friendly and we were seated right away. Since it's located in a strip mall, parking was very easy, and I suspect they'll have some outdoor seating when the weather is nice. They serve breakfast until 2, so we were able to pick from a pretty extensive menu selection for both breakfast and lunch. There were so many options I was almost overwhelmed! But truthfully this is good for groups as you can truly find something for everyone. We ordered a Thai iced tea, Panang beef and Tom Yum (with shrimp added) soup. All were delicious!! They had a cocktail list as well, which had some great options. This would be perfect after running errands at the stores in the Metropolitan. Came here for a nice dinner before the show. Nice concept. Quaint but had room. We were seated on the side to have a little privacy. Staff were friendly and helpful. The ambiance was nice. Unfortunately, another sever sat a family next to us that took away from that. Kids were older, almost preteens and they messing with everything. The parents were loud, and the woman put her purse on the booth seat I was sitting on. The menu was varied and interesting. I went with our server's suggestion and it was tasty. Bella Fusion is a new Thai and Latin fusion restaurant in Charlotte. The inside is small but nicely decorated with modern light fixtures, tables, and a bar. I really enjoyed our meals here. They serve breakfast until 2PM and start serving lunch/dinner at 11am, so if you go between 11AM-1:30PM you can get both. The service is really good and attentive as it is a small spot. I got the strawberry shortcake pancakes which were really good and the steak with bandeja paisa I ordered was my favorite, it was seasoned perfectly. The menu items seemed pretty reasonable priced for the portion sizes you get. I cannot wait to come back here to try more things on their menu. read more

I don't typically eat in this area when visiting uptown Charlotte. We were going to an event at the CPCC uptown campus at 5:00 and it was going to be a 3-4 hour event. This restaurant is very close to the campus. We were also eating at an odd hour 3:30 and many uptown restaurants are closed until 4:00 or 5:00 pm. This restaurant was so pleasantly surprising. I have to imagine we might not have had the regular chef or kitchen staff as we were eating at 3:30 p.m. but the food was so amazing! The restaurant is nicely decorated and intimate with a patio as well. It's an Asian fusion restaurant with Asian as well as Mexican food. We did not have the opportunity to sample the Mexican food because both my husband and I ordered from the Asian/Thai menu. I had the shrimp Tom Yum and a pork dish I can't remember the name and my husband had a noodle dish. Everything was delicious. I will be back for sure! I have been here twice to get the pad see ew to go. While waiting for my to-go food, I've been able to tell that Bella Fusion is very intentionally decorated and lit. The hostess there was genuinely so excited to help me; you can't NOT feel good about being a patron here. The pad see ew was delicious both times and the portion was extremely generous. I like tofu in mine, and the tofu was cooked really nicely. I would really like to come in soon and actually sit down for my next meal. I'd love to also see some vegetarian options so I can come with my bf. Definitely recommend! read more

I really enjoyed my entree Kao Soy ($20). It was a well seasoned chicken quarter that fell off the bone, it was so tender. It said it had a yellow curry sauce, but to me, it also tasted like peanut butter sauce... similar to satay. I loved the ramen noodle with all of it and the crispy noodles. I also got Shrimp Thom Ka soup ($8) + ($2 chicken or shrimp). It was ok. But too much tomato flavor for me. I wouldn't get it again. Also they tried to bring out the appetizer (soup) at the same time as my entree and they did the same to another girl that was with me. I stopped them and asked them not to. So you might want to go ahead and remind them what an appetizer is when you order so that they do not do this to you. The lady that waited on us said she was Thai and I asked for her most authentic dish recommendation and the Kao Soy was the first one that she pointed out. Highly recommend this cozy dish. I asked for a b8t of heat spiciness and they delivered. Another girl got the crispy pork and enjoyed it. The girl next to me got the drunken noodles and said it had good flavor. The interior had several comfortable booths and nice atmosphere. Parking is free and the restaurant is a bit hidden behind another building. There's a mattress place and Chipotle across from it. We stumbled upon this place Trader Joe's. First off it had free parking which is rare down here so good start. Met owners and they were super nice Started with Larb, it was so good ...wish lettuce cups were a bit bigger but flavor was wonderful We had the pho which was as good as anywhere in charlotte and believe it or not the tossed salad topped with steak was so flavorful. I am so happy I found this spot. It's tucked away in the metropolitan shopping center. We went in on Valentine's Day and we were seated right away. Beautiful ambiance and vibe, nice but not pretentious. We got the khao soi (highly recommend, it was literally the best I've ever had), and some drunken noodles. TERRIBLE SEVRICE! We walked in, we were not greeted by the host. We were sat at a table for more than 5 minutes and was not greeted. The restaurant was not busy nor did any other customers have their food on the table in front of them. Not one of the employees acknowledged us to let us know that it'll be a second before they come to table. As someone who works in a restaurant as a hostess, I was DISGUSTED! For them to be just opening, they are doing a terrible job with their customer service and hospitality. So do better, Thank you. read more
