Clinic is always overcrowded. Staff is very hit or miss. Most of them act like you bother them if you have a question or need to schedule an appointment. My son has Been a patient here for a long time. Brought my son recently for dental and i have to say this dept has def changed. The staff is nicer and they work very organized. I'm no longer astonished as to how the office staff that deal with registering patients in several departments of this clinic whose main purpose is to serve people could be so utterly uncivil and bad mannered. Surely, if they dislike dealing with the public that much, they should venture into a new career that does not require interpersonal communications. I've made multiple complaints over the years for both myself and my mother and it never changes. It's very disappointing when a supervisor claims that they are surprised by their staff behavior which implies that nothing will be done to correct that employee. Urban Health Plan, I regret going there, Everytime they provide me with a schedule appointment it's with a different doctor, they always say to me that my previous doctor is no longer with them I been through at least 8 different doctors having to start from scratch each time for my condition. the doctors are amazing been coming here my whole life but minimum wait time for a appointment is always a hour, you can never get a appointment and when you reschedule a appointment the closest they can get you is 3 months out or next year!! If you are looking to get prenatal care from this place; THINK TWICE! these people will pry into your personal life & discriminate against you. First off this clinic is very unorganized. Very Poor staffing. The front desk representative was a complete sweetheart; but she was a little much. Bashing and talking bad about other employees in front of clients; big NO NO! I've been spotting and bleeding during these early weeks. It's been hard to book a same day doctors appointment. I found this place; called & I was told to come by the clinic as a walk in. Same day. After waiting 45 mins; I was screened by this FAT, pregnant, Mexican woman. Lady seemed like she was going to go into labor at any moment. She asked me about any history of domestic violence; I told her that I had a small altercation with a female I dated 14 years ago; before I transitioned to the D***, before I had my 2 kids with my husband. this fat Mexican referred me to a "social worker". Telling them that I had "recent" DV issues in which I didn't. Then she told them I seemed a bit "OFF". This social worker started to ask me questions about my mental history, hospitalizations, if I was suicidal... like what the heck!!! OFF? I'm 6 weeks pregnant with severe morning sickness chasing a 3 year old around; my husband is deployed; I am spotting; bleeding and worrying about losing my baby. What the heck am I suppose act like? Meanwhile this place is filled with 14, 15 year old pregnant girls in and out! I'm a MARRIED woman in search of help. My husband and I planned this baby & I get treated like a black sheep. Only in the Bronx! I wanted to confirm and surprise my husband with this baby while he's overseas. Which was suppose to be the happiest moment of my life turned into a complete nightmare. This all bothered me because the conversation between the Mexican and I was going so well. She told me that the bleeding and spotting was "Normal". I told her I was worried and I wanted further help. I wanted a vaginal check up; sonogram, whatever it took to make sure my baby and I was good. This lady gave me attitude, sent a social worker to me & a nurse. The nurse was no help at all BTW. overall I wasted my time coming to this place just to be humiliated and embarrassed. I spoke to administration and decided to not continue prenatal services here. Clinic looks nice and clean but the service sucks. The staff are rude and purposely leaves you waiting extra if you voice your opinion. Never see you on time and they always making mistakes. You have to double check your papers before leaving. If they change the staff to nicer people that treat people with actual care and professionalism this clinic would be way better. I called the OBGYN before making a walk-in appointment to have the gender of my unborn child announced to me. The blood test results were listed as "unable to report" in my patient's chart. A nurse or a doctor would need to read the report to you, according to the medical assistant on the other end of the telephone. I entered as a walk-in and the nurse helped me. She was informed of my ovarian pain and the fact that I also needed to know the outcome of my blood examination. I will need to redo the test, the nurse informed me after reading the same result of "unable to report". I politely declined and requested an ultrasound instead. I was taken into another room by her where she used the doppler to hear my fetal heartbeat. The nurse confirmed that I would receive an ultrasound. She GAVE ME the choice to visit the doctor today, and I ANSWERED "NO" to that. Ten minutes later, the nurse came up to me and told me to proceed to the third floor to see the doctor. I was asked about the pain by Dr. Napoli. He completely disregarded me when I indicated that I was experiencing ovarian discomfort, responding, "You wouldn't know what ovarian pain is." He merely hastily measured my belly before stating that everything was fine. When I enquired about the ultrasound, he adamantly informed me that I would not be receiving one. The nurse never said that I would receive an ultrasound, according to the MA who was dispatched by Dr. Napoli to check with the nurse to see if she had in fact said that I had one. With the words "We have your results. I'll have someone get them," the doctor ignored what I had to say and pushed me into the waiting area. After another 15 minutes of sitting in the waiting room, a nurse and a counselor tried to charge me for a second test while simultaneously informing me the findings weren't yet available. Why should I pay for a mistake the clinic made when sending out the first blood test, according to the report, which was done by a medical staff member? read more

This clinic is full of young staff that talks about each other and talks negative about patients. The lab waits can go 2-3 hours long because everyday they are short of staff. Makes it hard for a working person to see someone there on weekends. Also there is never a supervisor available to speak to any patients yet they have signs that ask patients to speak to a supervisor if it's needed. After 6 months being there, I've had enough. U can't care for patients if the clinic don't care. read more

So I had a dental appointment recently and apparently some fair that was going on in the neighborhood was more important then a patient getting their cavity taken care of. I had a new dentist Dr. Boyce (not sure if that's how you spell his name) and these assistants just kept coming into the room and telling him that he had 7 patients waiting and that they had to go to the fair. First off that's rude as hell and secondly I'm a patient as well and I was waiting before to be called. I honestly don't understand these people. Crap like that only happens in the best of areas. I asked if I already had my results for my digital xrays. They have yet to give me an answer on my results. This place is full of it. Went there for mental health and had the worst experience. The doctor I saw was beyond unprofessional. She seem as she was not interested in doing too much work there. All she complained about was how they had so many patients and not enough doctors. She couldn't do anything for me, she couldn't write letters. She told me she doesn't write down every single thing I say. When i spome to her it felt like i was just having a conversation with any ole regular person not a professional. She didn't even offer me any techniques or advice on my anxiety or ptsd and i was there for a few months. Shame on them they need to get it together the whole clinic in itself and they need to give Clair Delgado more training. Only fourteen 5 star reviews out of 37 thats way less then half you guys should be ashamed of yourselves only good thing they did was transfer me to another location and i feel they only did that because i had my preventative worker call them and come in with me. The staff at the this location is absolutely AMAZING from the security to the nurses and doctors. At times some people can take time to warm up to you if you're not Hispanic in some areas of the clinic but they eventually do.The only issue that I have is that their phone service is horrible! You can never reach anyone by phone to make an appointment or to just ask a quick question, I don't think that they have any general clinic receptionist or a person set to make appointments. When you do reach someone, you just get transferred in circles until you just give up and walk over (if you live close enough) that is an issue. If it weren't for the phone issue and the biased people at times, it would be a really great experience all around. However, I have no issues with the medical staff that deal with the patients medically, they are very professional and pleasant. read more
