    Southeast Asia Eggs Rolls
    Philip L.

Great food and pleasant service! I stopped by on a Sunday and was the first customer seated. The interior is spacious with a simple and clean vibe. There was only one server working at the time and despite the place starting to fill up by the time I left, she was very attentive and courteous. They seem to still be in a "soft opening" phase, so a few items on the menu weren't available. Their hours also seem subject to change, so I've updated them to reflect their current hours at the time of this review. Also, the little envelope of utensils they gave me was super cute. The only downside was that the plastic chopsticks were really slippery which made it difficult to eat the noodles. I ordered the Southeast Asia Eggs Rolls and Saigon Pho. The egg rolls were a good size and were more like fried spring rolls. They're crispy on the outside, packed with flavor, and went well with the sweet chili sauce. The portion of pho is HUGE and was pretty close to the pho I've had back in northern NJ / NYC. The broth was flavorful and had the aromatics typical of good, authentic pho. The brisket was tender and I was pleased by Thai basil being included in the accoutrements. I ordered the Korean Short Rib Rice Plate for takeout as this was the only Korean food I'd seen served in the area. It was packaged well and was easy to reheat for dinner. The jasmine rice is a bit non-traditional, but it didn't affect the quality of the dish. The tender short ribs had a nice char and the sweet-savory marinate tasted fairly authentic. I'll definitely try this in the restaurant next time. Overall, it was a great experience and I'm glad that I have a place to enjoy good pho and Korean food nearby.

Fantastic dining experience! The atmosphere was cozy, the service was attentive, and the food was absolutely delicious. Every dish was fresh and flavorful, and the presentation was beautiful. Highly recommend trying their signature dish--it was the highlight of the meal! Will definitely be coming back.

Massive servings, lots of flavor, friendly staff. This place is so much better than PHO 8.

Gave me and my friend both food poisoning. Waiter was weird. Bella Italia should've just stayed there.

I arrived about…read more15 minutes after opening and was one of the first orders, though more people trickled in shortly. I ordered at the counter and decided to eat in. Staff seemed friendly. I got the shrimp spring rolls and the beef pho. The spring rolls were served with a peanut sauce and were fairly simple--mainly just lettuce, vermicelli noodles, and shrimp wrapped in rice paper. I'm used to variations that usually include more greens/vegetables like carrots, thai basil, cucumber, etc. Still, they were a nice, fresh appetizer. The beef pho was pretty interesting. The broth had a decent beefy flavor but lacked the aromatics that I'm used to tasting in pho. The best way I can describe it is that it tasted very plain and uncomplicated. I'd probably chalk this up to the fact that I've lived in northern NJ / NYC for most of my life which has a large Asian population and many Pho restaurants. The beef slices were also thicker and a bit tougher than what I'm used to. No options for tripe, tendon, or meatballs either. Normally, I would have given 3 stars, but I appreciate this restaurant and its food for what it is in context. I'm just glad that I can get a decent bowl of pho when I'm craving it.

Amazing place outstanding staff. Excellent food was not a better place anywhere close to this…read moreplace. They really stand out and should be commended in awarded on every level. I mean I wish there was something negative to say so. It doesn't sound like a phony review., but this is truly a gem and should at least be tried once The the interior seating as such a bistro quality, upscale, but friendly, very professional, but friendly And I've been there twice now and I will say the second time I went they weren't open on a night they were scheduled to be. They extended their weekend for their employees and Restaurant staff which wasn't convenient for me, but I called and that's what a woman told me. I went back the next night, cause I'm only in town for two weeks and I've got the rest of the week left so I wanted to try it again and during my meal a woman walked up a staff member and asked me if I was the one that called the night before and I said yes and she said thank you for coming back and I said not a problem. I completely understand. It's nice if you were able to extend your staff's Fourth of July weekend. I'm getting ready to leave. I'm asking if I can cash out and I was told it was taken care of and I asked my whole bill and my server said yes it's our way of saying thank you for coming back. It was a nicest thing anyone's ever done for me in a while and I didn't order the least expensive items on the menu. I went for a taste good. It is a long review. I wish I had more time where there was an audio button, but I do want other people to read this. My favorite item on the menu is an appetizer is zucchini fritters out of this world, and I personally went for the duck confit , it's all great. Please try it out. Make a reservation to yourself a favor and just enjoy yourself. I understand the woman's name was Regan, would like to give a shout out to Regan and her staff. There a lot of great restaurants out there this one is absolutely one of the kind and it's not just my opinion, Ask anybody that's familiar with the name . Restaurants like this one needs to be noticed to be appreciated for what they represent, bring people together, adding Quality to a community serving community. And just putting really good food out there..

It was served with focaccia which was lightly toasted. You order the oysters individually, which is especially convenient as you can then order as many as it pleases your appetite. The duck comfit was excellent. The skin could have been crispier but the meat was succulent and well seasoned. Served with miso carrots and Boursin potatoes. The carrots were glazed perfectly and were a good compliment to the richness of the duck. The potatoes were the weakest part of the dish. I expected more flavor. There was no accent of chives or perhaps some creme fraiche to provide a herbaceous accent and/or acid to cut through the richness of the dish. They were placed in the plate from a disher so it looked a bit cheap on the plate. The wine was a Le Volte dell'Ornellaia red which was well balanced and very approachable. Not heavy on tannins. Overall an exceptional meal for $75. I would recommend it!
