This place is so yummy and unique to me! The Bingsoo is so refreshing that if you don't know what it is all I have to say is you have to try it (as I was not sure and the taste of this exceeds any explanation of what this is). The ice is shaved to perfection and the concoctions you can get are so fun and varied. I personally enjoyed the strawberry cheesecake Bingsoo the most out of what I have tried here. Good flavor combo. Definitely a yummy, fun treat that will make you want to come back for more. There is plenty of seating and the ambiance is usually bustling and always draws a crowd. Service is friendly and prompt.
Definitely a great stop on a hot day. Good size location with plenty of seatings. A bit pricey for an order as it came up to about $14 per for shaved ice. Good combination of flavors. We ordered 2 types to share with the 6 of us as we had a heavy dinner before. It was crazy hot outside so this was very refreshing and helped us cool down. The condensed milk topping was free refill if you asked the ppl at the counter. The bathroom and back walkway was shared with Somi Somi so there was a line to wait for the bathrooms as there's only one for men and one for women. Parking can be a pain as by 6:15pm on a Thursday, it was very limiting.
Black sesame taiyaki was so good. The mochi inside the taiyaki had a good contrast to the slight crispy exterior. Mango bingso was so refreshing!
Went to Sul & Beans for a Saturday mid-morning snack. Got a Fresh Mango Bingsoo to share. The mango was decent and the ice really hit the spot. We made a bit of a mess pouring on the evaporated milk as some of it ran straight off the mango and out of the bowl. I'd recommend eating a little bit of the dish before pouring on the milk. This location is in Shanghai Plaza which can get a little crazy in terms of the parking situation. The store front looks small, but it's quite roomy inside and a good place to hang
My wife and I were visiting Vegas and we spent some time with my cousin and his family for dinner. We found ourselves here at Sul & Beans after dinner in the busy Shanghai Plaza in Chinatown. My cousin and his wife recommended this place because they enjoyed a few of the Bingsoo bowls in the past. I personally have never tried one, but I was down to give it a shot as we shared it. The location as mentioned is in one of the busiest plazas and let alone it was Memorial Day. The location is connected to the Somi Somi. My wife and I got drinks and my cousin and I shared a Taro Bingsoo. The drinks were tea based and I liked mt Strawberry Citron. I wanted a lighter option and didn't feel like a milk tea. The spot was PACKED! It was full of energy and full of foot traffic we were lucky to get a table. The Taro Bingoo looked extraordinary. All that taro goodness on the top and condensed milk drizzled all over. I had few bites and it was impressive. It's not a heavy dessert, but the combo if shaved ice/milk with toppings make it a memorable experience. Definitely good for sharing with others. From what I read it's an authentic Korean dessert and I was happy I tasted it. The other options sounded great and would be worth trying again. I saw there are other Sul & Beans not too far from us in California. Good experience and a good night out with my cousin, his wife and our godson. Try it! ( ^_^)b
Kind of disappointed with the quality of the banana bingsu because they put noticeably less granola. For the price I would assume they would have the same quality bingsu or at least measure the ingredients to keep the right amount consistently but I was disappointed to say the least. When we went our order was a bit of a wait since it was really busy we had to scout for a table. The boong uh bbang was delicious, we ordered the hotteok and matcha custard and the flavors was delightful with the matcha being a bitter yet savory bite and the hotteok was unique because we've never tried a peanut taste. The ambiance was a bit crowded when we went and it did give clean space with a studio vibes with great lighting. I can't complain too much because I do enjoy coming here and will be back to try their different flavor bingsu.
I am always down for snow with strawberries! The strawberries are so fresh and they are not skimpy with them. There were enough strawberries until the last bite! It's quite busy...so you will need the table angels on your side to get a table before your order is ready. However, the person who took our order said to let him know when we got a table so our order would be fresh and not sitting... waiting for a table. Also, I watched several people get their order to go. It was prepared in a plastic container- the portion looked comparable and it was well prepared. They made sure to layer fruit in the middle so that you would get fruit even half way through. I love this on a hot day- so refreshing!!

The shaved ice is very fine, and It had a nice helping of red bean paste, sesame dusted over with nuts and a sweet milk to drizzle over. My friend had the chocolate banana , although I will say, the chocolate flavor was very mild. As a non local this place is worth visiting. It's a very casual spot to enjoy a cold dessert.
We came here after having DINNER at Resort World. Perfect timing because Las Vegas gets pretty warm at night so the Bingsoo was the perfect refreshing dessert for night time or ANYTIME actually... TARO BINGSU: 9/10 A dessert that wasn't too sweet. Caution though, it is very VERY cold. Brain freeze and tooth sensitivity are at HIGH RISK! One point off because the condense milk was watery... There's a SURPRISE at the bottom of the dessert!! My favorite part about the dessert was actually the bottom which possibly has ice cream and taro paste. It also tasted like there was a texture that reminded me of almond jello... SERVICE: 10/10 Friendly Service at the counter. You can just order at the cashier and then wait for your number to be called.... AMBIANCE: A great setting for friends and family to get together to enjoy a refreshing dessert. I also saw quite a lot of kids there as well... Highly recommend for DESSERT!! GO SUL & BEANS!!!!
They're known for their Bingsu but honestly their Taiyakis were the best! Fresh, crispy, and made to order. The Black Sesame one was very unique. The Strawberry Cheese Bingsu was nice too. Just a tad icey but they're generous with the topping. Would reccommend!
I really wanted to like this place, but it just didn't live up to the hype. The presentation was honestly messy. It looked overloaded, with way too much mango piled on top, and it immediately started sliding and dripping everywhere. It was hard to even enjoy because it turned into a sticky mess within minutes. On top of that, it felt overpriced for what you get. The balance was off, too many toppings and overwhelming the ice, so it wasn't refreshing, just overwhelming. Cute idea, but not something I'd come back for.
Ordered the strawberry cheese bingsu to share with a friend. Strawberries were fresh and wait time was quick. Even when tables are full people come and go quickly. The cheesecake bits tasted so good.

this is the best place to get bingsoo. wait times can be a bit long but the service is polite and they work fast given how busy it can get. there's a good amount of seating but it fills up fast. all of the bingsoos i've tried so far have been so refreshing. milky shaved ice will always beat standard shaved ice ngl. my number one recommendations are the earl grey bingsoo and the strawberry cheese bingsoo, but i haven't had any misses so far! read more
Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Ambiance: 4/5 My friend and I were craving dessert and this was one of the only places opened. I have heard that parking can be a nightmare in this Plaza, but people are constantly coming and going. We ordered a Fresh Mango Bingsoo, which was delicious! I would order this again, but I would want to come back again to try other bingsoo's. There is a long wait, which I did not mind. If you are in a rush, just know you will likely have to wait. I believe my friend and I waited 15-20 minutes for our single bingsoo to be made. The wait was definitely worth it. We were a bit overwhelmed when we first walked in that we actually walked out because there were no tables available. After about 5 minutes of wandering the plaza, we came back and there was a table available. This might seem like an issue, but with the amount of time it takes to make the bingsoo I can imagine that you can probably snag a table by the time your bingsoo is made. I would definitely come back again! This place is worth trying. read more

I really like the product here. Its a light desert and doesnt leave you feeling super full. The fruit options keep flavors on the fresher side of things. The staff were friendly and the place is great to bring a family as there were plenty of larger groups here. read more
I love their mango shaved ice and my Korean friends love their injeolmi shaved ice. As it gets warmer, we keep craving their shaved ice and boong uh ppangs. I usually get the red bean boon uh ppangs but they have custard and other flavors as well. Seating can get competitive so give them a try. read more
My first time having Bingsoo. It's like eating snow made from milk. It's yummy and light and melts in your mouth. Luckily I shared one with a friend as the size and cost ($17) a a bit much for one person. I wanted to try the taro but I don't like beans for dessert. I wonder if I could do half and half next time. This was a fun one. So 1st thing these are definitely shareable sizes. If you like Hawaiian shaved ice sizes this is what I am talking about. Grab your water cup and pull up a seat. (Hopefully after a hot day) these are light refreshing and packed with flavor. It was my 1st time and quickly looked for a place near home. Plenty of seating because folks knew once they were done they got up and left, which I thought was so cool a d helped keep the flow of customers. Return your trays to the window and enjoy the rest of the plaza. read more
Grabbing Bingsoo on a date night has become a recurring thing with sul n beans. It's a fun, lighter dessert that's great for sharing, and the hot taiyaki pairs great with it. We've tried a fruit version and the Oreo one, and the Oreo is the favorite so far. One bowl is plenty for two people or even up to 4+ to share. The taiyakis with Nutella and custard go well dipped in the Bingsoo, or add a nice warm bite to offset the cold. Sul n beans also has a great location to walk around some interesting shops or make an evening out of it at a nearby restaurant. read more

Cost of product is expensive. I ordered the bingsoo to go and the container it came in was a huge disappointment. Looked nothing like the photos. I suggest having the bingsoo in a bowl to go. Taste wasn't something to rave about either. Bland, lacking any intense flavor. I feel like I was misled by the photos of the dessert. I literally paid $15 for a cup of shaved ice, and what looked like 2 Tablespoons of frozen cubes of watermelon and a tablespoon of condensed milk on the side. read more
I gotta admit, I've never had a true bingsoo until a couple weeks ago. And now? Now I'm officially hooked! Signed, sealed, and definitely delivered. SUL & BEANS is located in the back of the Shanghai Plaza in Chinatown. It's open late, which is the reason for my very first visit. Even though there's pictures of toasts on this yelp business page, it seems that this location no longer serves them. THE BASICS: I'm impressed with the finely shaved ice, so pillowy and soft, as if biting into a thousand little snowflakes freshly fallen from heaven. Each bingsoo also comes with a small serving of CONDENSED MILK, which you can request extra if you wanted. THE SPECIFICS, here's what I've tried so far: -- GREEN TEA (5/5) My gateway! One of the more sophisticated flavors. Green tea flavor on point, topped with red bean, mochi, and sliced almonds. --MANGO (5/5) This is probably the most highly sought-after, as it was sold out on the second visit. The mango chunks are so sweet and ripe. --TARO (5/5) Give me purple! I love anything taro/ube by default. A lot of textures in this one, from the red bean and mochi and coconut chips. --FRESH STRAWBERRY (3/5) Probably my least favorite so far. The strawberry flavor within the shaved ice just too sweet and artificial. Seating has been packed and busy. There is a separate queue to wait in as tables open up. Price point is around $15 per bowl. I wish they'd offer half-sizes, as I could never finish my portion. Looking forward to trying the other flavors! read more

I wish there were more bingsu spots here in Vegas! My boyfriend and I always share a bingsu, but usually can't finish it! I got the cookies and cream flavor this time around, and it was quite delicious though I may try the chocolate next time. I love the multiple layers of oreo in between the shaved ice, and the ice is so light and fluffy. I can't wait to go back next time and try a new flavor. read more

What has happened to this place. I seriously recommend Sul to EVERYONE that comes from out of town. The staff today was incredibly rude. No hello or greeting. Whatever. I order the mango Bingsoo. Kid mumbles we're out of mango and points to the sign in a rather snide manner. He obviously does not want to be here. That's not his fault imo. I always blame that on management. Anyways I ask "I are you out of anything else besides mango?" He says rudely "we don't have mango". I repeat it two more times and he doesn't get my question. The female coworker in the dining room shouts "we don't have corn either". Was that such a difficult question to answer? Am I bothering to not waste time by asking for another 86d item. We are in a crazy economy right now. Businesses are closing in CT left and right. Do you guys think you're impervious to this economy? I swear to GOD I will never step one foot in this place again. And I will tell everyone to avoid supporting. Get your shit right... or don't. Idc anymore. read more

Waited 30 minutes just to be disappointed. The hot drink was completely overpowered by grapefruit, so much so that it drowned out every other flavor that was supposed to be there. It ended up tasting unbalanced and honestly hard to enjoy. The mango dessert didn't help the experience either. The presentation was messy and unappealing, and the flavors didn't come together in a way that made sense. It felt thrown together rather than thoughtfully prepared. To make things worse, the utensils were dirty and had noticeable watermarks. My lady had to wipe them down herself before we could even use them, which is something you shouldn't have to deal with anywhere. Between the long wait and the lackluster quality, this visit just didn't hit the mark. read more

Food was really good, and I can see why this place is always busy. The only frustrating part was that we waited about 20 minutes for our order because it had been packed as to-go. The cashier never asked if we wanted it for here or to go. I thought it was for here since they didn't ask if it was to go or not. It was just a simple mix-up, but it would've been nice if they had asked when we ordered. We wouldn't have to wait for so long for our order. Like the interior, very nice! Other than that, the food was delicious, and I'd definitely come back. Hopefully next time the ordering process goes a little smoother. Got a free cooling bag and ice pack though. read more

Came in and ordered their strawberry with mochi and condensed milk bingsoo. The size is a bit on the smaller size compare to other locations I had but overall it was still good. This was shared among my sister and I. Wished there's more toppings but everything cost extra here. read more

What an AMAZING experience!! The ambiance was clean, Modern, and chill. The service was good. The food, one word, WOW!!!! I never knew I would like shaved ice like this. In my culture we have something similar but this...it has the softest, fluffiest, deliciousness to it. I really enjoyed it. It's not too sweet, it's perfect. If you want a treat but don't want to feel bloated afterwards, this is a great spot to check out. You have to at least give it a try once in your life. read more

I usually avoid coming to Shanghai Plaza because parking can be a challenge. The lot is often crowded, the spaces are narrow, and I'm always worried about someone scratching my car. This time, though, we stopped by before dinner and got lucky. I was happy to see they've added several new items to the menu, and everything we tried was delicious. Definitely a pleasant surprise and well worth the visit. read more

I love the flavors that they offer such as sweet corn or banana milk but we were with the kids and got the basic fresh strawberry. 3 adults and 2 kids shared a bowl. Make sure you ask for additional condense milk on the side! If you don't want shaved ice, they offer drinks such as coffee and tea. We also got 5 pieces of Nutella filled boong uh bbang. This is the Korean version of the Japanese Taiyaki. Korean is a carp fish and Japanese is a sea bream shape. As far as taste, they taste the same to me. If you go the restroom in the back, there are additional seating that connects you to Somi Somi and they share the same space. read more
This place is my favorite spot to get some mango. The mango here is so sweet and juicy, almost as good as Hawaii mangos!! I have to admit that I only stick to my favorites and they are mango and the strawberry. This place loads up the on fruit, they don't play around. Whatever you order just know that they will put so much fruit that it will be falling off the top on to the tray. It also comes with a side of condense milk for your pleasure as this will only enhance the flavor. The restaurant has a counter up front to order with a display case for you to drool over and decided what you want to get. After you order they give you a pager and will buzz you when your order is ready. Its not a long wait it just depends if they are busy or not, i would recommend getting a table first then have someone else go place the order for your table. This place is louder than most as the tables are close together and it's always busy. The bathrooms are shared with the business around the corner, when you get your receipt look at the bottom it's the code for the bathroom. Give this place a try and happy eating!!!! read more

If you love dessert, you have to try this Korean shaved ice spot in Las Vegas. I'm talking about Sul & Beans. Their Korean shaved ice, called Bingsu, is made with milk ice instead of regular ice, so it's incredibly soft, creamy, and milky. It literally melts in your mouth. I've tried the taro, chocolate, and strawberry flavors so far. My absolute favorite is the mango, but unfortunately it's out of season right now. Each bingsu comes with condensed milk on the side so you can drizzle more on top if you like it sweeter. The portions are huge, one order is definitely enough to share between two people. It's the perfect dessert after dinner. For me, this is the best bingsu spot in Las Vegas, and I highly recommend stopping by if you're craving something refreshing and unique. Sul & Beans is one of my favorite dessert spots in Las Vegas. The mango bingsu was incredibly fresh, packed with sweet juicy mango, and the shaved ice was light and fluffy. Portions are generous and perfect for sharing. The café is clean, spacious, and has a relaxing atmosphere that's great for hanging out with friends or family. Friendly service and consistently delicious desserts. Highly recommend! read more
Came here after dinner for some sweet desserts, and it did not disappoint! The service was great and the interior of the place was clean and taken care of. We got the Taro with red beans and toasted coconuts, and the Strawberry Yogurt. Both were presented so beautifully, almost didn't want to touch it! Lol They were both delicious, perfect after a good savory dinner. Loved pouring the condensed milk. It definitely added to the presentation and taste! This is located at the Shanghai Plaza, keep in mind that parking here is typically difficult to find, but we got lucky this evening, we didn't have to go around and around to find parking.
